  1. Absolutely outstanding. I love the simple idea of one winding mechanism to go between modes and have actual firing missiles. This would win the comp easily.
  2. I would like to see something different like Ken Blocks 1965 Ford Mustang.
  3. That video was hilarious so that's how they got the 9391 crawler crane from 8043 and 42042.
  4. G'day. This is a perfect moc. You have my vote. Its simple and everything is well hidden. Cheers Jono.
  5. That's a great moc. Its a good idea from LegoCube, I have one suggestion. Off road 4x4s tend to have heavy duty roof racks so my thought was the front window mesh could be the disguised roof rack then simply fold down over the front window for battle. Just my 2 cents worth. Awesome car and hope to see it in the comp.
  6. Thanks for the extra time I may actually finish the trailer. I have a question about my truck "Lights out", the main gun that winds out from the sleeper box has its ammo clip attached its side. So my question is, is it allowed or not allowed? that you have to take it off the side of the gun and put it on top of the guns 90 degree axle and pin connector, and also I'm having trouble fitting the 8L axle harpoon on the Crane between its claw and folding points so again having it slotted into the trailers side and removing it to put it in the firing mechanism allowed?. I just figured it was ammo like the two Technic competition cannons that you have to keep on reloading that are on the truck. I ask because I know you cant take things off and put them back on but is ammo allowed to be done like that?
  7. Great fast transformation. the teeth are pretty cool.
  8. A very impressive truck. I love the side shooting missiles. Great use of 42008 panels they look like they were designed for this truck.
  9. This is a really professional looking car. Than kyou for making the car and thanks to Zimix and Alasdair Ryan for the instructions. My son plans on raiding the lego and making it when he gets home from school.
  10. Just showed my son this who is a freak for hotwheels and his reaction was "wow..coool can I have it?" So that say it all. A masterpiece, well done.
  11. This is pretty cool. Having different stages to the transformation is one seriously good idea. From truck to car! never thought of that, well done, hope to see it in the contest.
  12. Awesome we need more bandits. This is a really cool idea and cant wait for more progress shots.
  13. That is one nice cruiser. Love the RC functions. Alot of fire power popping out of now where, awesome.
  14. Absolutely freaking Awesome. Noth'n like a little bumper grind, low'n slow.
  15. what a great car. The transformation really adds some firepower. Well done.
  16. So simple'n clean and yet very well done. awesome job.
  17. Thanks to everyone for your comments. I've still yet to add stickers. Thanks Jim for still allowing it in.
  18. Thanks for your comment. Unfortunately its the play or gap you have between beams that gives it the sag. Its being strengthened as much as I can but it has stood the play of three boys unbroken so its strong enough I guess.
  19. Truck is finished. The chassis had to be lengthened 5 studs to accommodate a steering wheel and fifth wheel. The fifth wheel has a manual lock. The Bandit 'Lights out' by Jono Mckinlay, on Flickr The side step is a lever to release the extendable front end and then is locked by the bonnet. Manual fold down front spikes, folding rear wheel guards and sleeper box side missiles fold down and up with full rage of fire and sliding motion. the doors are raised by pressing the black ball joints next to the horns and by using the door handles you can rotate the missiles on them. The horns lift a half stud to fire out the seat under them with a range of about 30cm. Battle mode looks like this: The Bandit 'Lights out' by Jono Mckinlay, on Flickr Behind the sleeper is the spare wheel for steering. Two levers, each for shooting off a fuel tank whith a current range of about 1.5 meters. The black gear raises and lowers the main gun out of the sleeper with the ammo clip attached to the side of the gun. Ammo clip added to gun. Shoots seven 1x2 thick liftarm bricks. Yes they are black because if the trailer works out to how I plan then these lift arms are recycled pursuit cars as ammo shells. Gotta give a little back to them when the trailer scraps a car. The gun is a manual flick back and release. The faster you do it the faster it shoots. It to has a range between 1.5 and 2 meters with a full 360 degree of motion up, down and side to side. Everything that shoots off the truck is this: 2 tanks 2 seats 4 missiles 7 lift arms
  20. Absolutely awesome. My bandits truck just fell to pieces looking at it.
  21. Its not right in any way or form to get credit from someone else's free instructions especially when you manage to ruin what was a car with beautiful lines. As you know how much time and work goes into making a car from scratch ( well that bit not you) and then the instructions but the biggest bit is to give it away for free. This is the reason for us not to do instructions of our models when people abuse what was given to all for free. Just my 2 cents worth.
  22. Absolutly amazing. Perfect. Could you show more pics of it please?
  23. Way better with stickers. Looks like they were meant for it. How to counter act flares...... Bigger gun.
