Sounds like you've been working on this creation for a while. Sometimes those small models can be the problems that take the longest to solve in LEGO building. I’d say the result is pretty amazing. The car doors for the X-wing’s wings are a great idea, but the black KK2 shields for the TIE x1′s wings? That’s genius.

Docken appreciates Guts' dance moves. They give the party a statistical buff.

In other LEGO Star Wars-related news... Celebration Europe's exhibitor list was released, and LEGO GmbH has booths 326 and 316, but there's no description for either of those beyond the name. I don't think there's been anything that was unveiled at past SWCs, right? via TheForce.net. Hallmark revealed their 2013 LEGO Star Wars ornament. Via JediNews.

OoC: Sorry, OOC-only post in-thread. Do you want me to be the one arresting him because of Diplomacy, or...? You are the Party Leader.

Welcome to EB. Eurobricks is not intended to be a photo host for its members. Regular members only have a very limited amount of space for attachments. You should sign up for a dedicated photo host such as flickr, upload the photos there, and embed them on EB. (tutorial here.)

I don't think I ever found the last minikit in the droid factory level. (I can't remember where the nine I found were. But I know the tenth wasn't the one that could be found if you walked the wrong way at the start; that was the last one I found.)

All right, I'll leave this topic open for a couple more days, so you have until midnight on Friday, Denmark time, to apply for a blogger position. (That's 6PM EST. The blog runs on CET/CEST since KimT set it up that way.)

Darth Vader leading a church. You don't come to church and listen to him? "I find your lack of faith disturbing." *ack!* Your list of incredible dioramas continues to grow. Sci-fi, Castle, now Town — there may not be an architectural style or a theme with which you can’t do well. I particularly like the flora in this one, and I think you've used just the right number of ‘brick bricks’ in clusters in just the right places in the walls of the dark red building. The cutaways are also a great feature and reveal some fun scenes, though I sort of wish their edges were a little more uniform, because at first I thought they were partially destroyed.

I don't think they're ever used in large quantities. The Wookieepedia article mentions them being used a few at a time sort of like special forces or commanders. I'm not completely sure, though. They made their major appearances in CW a few years ago, and I try not to remember those episodes.

You have a choice, actually. Last time (For the Future of Star Wars contest), the bloggers were contacted and Erdy asked who among them wanted to help. (We all said 'yes', but if the staff did work with the bloggers on a contest, you would have a choice whether or not to help organize it or to remain eligible to compete.) We can always work on it over PM instead of in the bloggers subforum if only some of the bloggers are helping.

July 18-21. Last year they unveiled the Rancor Pit (and Bag End), and the year before was the TIE/ln and the Queen Amidala minifig.

No, I don't mind giving members choices; we don't all have the same preferences. It's just a matter of this forum having a universal set, which makes codes easy to remember and emoticons easier to recognize and interpret. -
New DK Lego books coming this year
Brickdoctor replied to legolijntje's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Thanks for the pictures, badbob001 and legolijntje. I think the Stormtrooper might be okay as a classic minifig...except that they used the newest print. Past collections of classic minifigs have typically used the same print as the original (Exception that comes to mind being one of the reissue spacemen, I think it was blue, that had the logo in the wrong spot.). I would've liked to see the original Stormie helmet and torso prints in this one. I agree that the robber definitely doesn't look like a classic minifig. -

(In case you were serious, Star Wars uses the universal set of emoticons [We all do, except for pirates], and that includes non-licensed, yellow-only themes. And I don't have access to the spot on the server where emoticons are stored nor do I have the ability to change the appearance of the site [which includes emoticons]; that's admin stuff.) -

Most likely in that person's head. We get a lot of members (though this is not as much of a problem as I remember it was a couple years ago.) who claim to know what's coming and then post a wishlist. -
I just realized that I think the tiles are different because these pictures show the other side of the model. Definitely keep the gap at a size that makes the greebles visible. I love the greebles! I'm just say that the shape of the gape might need to be straightened out.

As Aeroeza said, the nose does slightly interrupt the smooth curvature of the hull. It doesn't bother me that much, though. I do like the arrangement of tiles now with more of them running vertically; the bands are much easier to distinguish now. The amount of color looks better now, too, though I might go with even less. I know it's hard to get the angles right with LEGO, but one thing I noticed is that the gap between the two hulls curves up and down, following the curve of the upper hull. Looking at the studio model, that's okay on the front end, but it should be straight the rest of the way back. I think that's interrupting the distinctive shape when viewed from the side.

10123 is worth almost that amount by itself. (Cheapest used and complete set on BL is $450.) 4483 is another $150, and the Tuskens are somewhat rare, having been in a cheap set but never appearing again.

Problem is, a lot of these issues with the items don't surface until after the item is dropped and a player figures out a new way to take advantage of it.
