We go back in time to save Doc Brown Guffington, then inadvertently allow Biff Tannen Wren to create an alternate timeline where she rules a gambling city the world, so we have to go back in time again to fix that but we accidentally end up in the wild west in the Lost Party, when we defeat Mad Dog Wren and get back to the future.

Oh, yes, I know there's no Scroll of Doomed; I was responding to the part of your statement that it'd be a "50% chance to kill everything".
-
Well, no, Doomed is just Instant KO with a timer and a better percentage chance of success than Assassination. Like that one Special in the Fields that Knocks Out the inflicted hero after three Rounds regardless of HP, SP, or Row. Any enemies Immune to Instant KO should also be unaffected by Doomed.

You can merge weapons with scrolls?

Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
Brickdoctor replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
If you zoom in really closely, there's a lighter, slightly dark bluish area just above and to the right of the helmet, and then a darker spot where this area transitions to the bay door of the gunship. I suppose it could be an artifact or a shadow, but that fact that it's tinted the right color and in just the right spot suggests to me that it is the fin, it's just really hard to see in this photo because of the angle and the lighting. -
Well Bing Translate was useless. It said something about 'troops who said "news!"'. So I looked up the words individually, interpreted the definitions based on context, and then corrected and added words for English grammar. On topic: About Black Knights, there's not much that hasn't already been said, but I agree that with some enemies, it makes sense to have items be un-stealable, like bosses' equipment. (But maybe not that same bosses' consumables.)

TUTORIAL Posting deeplinked pictures from the NEW Flickr
Brickdoctor replied to Fugazi's topic in Forum Information and Help
Wait, I got it! Originally, I couldn't get to the URL of the photo on the mobile version, nor could I get to the View All Sizes page on the full version, while on an iPod Touch. But a member PMed me about a similar issue, so I was playing around with it, and: On the mobile version of flickr.com, go to your photostream: ...and navigate to the picture you want to embed: On the picture's page, you go to "View and edit info about this photo...": Click "View all sizes": Now switch back to the full version of flickr: And now you can finally see a picture that isn't also a link: ...so when you hold down on it, you can hit "Copy": And if you test this by pasting the copied URL into a new tab: So then you can post on EB and embed the image by enclosing the copied URL in img tags: (And this works on mobile EB.) -
Looks like it. I think it says something like, "As it happens, I also speak Klingon." Not really sure.

Agreed. I speak Galactic Basic.

"Interesting. Does he hire anyone else -- housemaids, chefs, butlers, for example -- and do they all come at the same time from the Hovels, too?"

For reasons completely unrelated to what Guts is saying, I reply,"Ah, I see. Do you and the other servers and the chef typically work for Lord Guffington, or were you all hired just for this event? I would imagine that working for Lord Guffington would at least afford you better accommodations than the Hovels."

Agree with The Lord of the Rings (the obvious quintessential example of high fantasy, setting up fantasy tropes and including a sprawling expanded universe and storyline). I've never seen any of the Harry Potter movies or read any of the books (apart from bits and pieces of the movies when other people were watching them, of course), like John Paul, but I know enough of it to get the references. Back to the Future and Indiana Jones are great for references, but I don't draw too much from them because of the different setting. Star Wars would probably be the same, but the sheer amount of knowledge I have of that universe pretty much makes it impossible for me to not take things from it. As far as fantasy that other people haven't mentioned, the Chronicles of Narnia and the Chronicles of Prydain are pretty well-known medieval high fantasy series that should be read, even if they're children's novels. And then there's classic stuff like Beowulf and Sir Gawain and the Green Knight and the Epic of Gilgamesh. I don't really draw that much from those, though, at least not directly. (I say that because I don't consciously take elements from them, but they're old enough and well-known enough as fantasy that it's likely that I draw from stories which themselves draw from those stories.)

Sort of, but it wasn't exactly low-budget.

Using a Clones quote to refer to the original edition of the OT.

I do want him to finish sometime soon, so he can get back to Quest 72.

And they have to be the Extended Editions. Also familiarize yourself with the LotR wiki, the basic storyline of The Silmarillion, and know what the chorus is chanting during the Nazgûl theme.

Welcome to this Alliance recruitment center. Okay, it's actually a table in the corner of a cantina. We're not really keen on being taken out by a TIE/sa or two. Please don't draw attention to yourself by staring at the Stormtrooper patrol. They're looking for some droids and an old man and a farm boy that I'm sure are of absolutely no significance to the Rebellion. The Rebel Bloggers are launching a renewed effort to keep up with MOCs and news both here on EB and on other sites such as Brickshelf, MOCpages, and flickr. We're looking for one or two new bloggers to join us in lounging around in the Rebel Base this effort, and we'd like to give everyone the opportunity to apply. How do you apply? It's as simple as sending a PM to Brickdoctor. Your PM should include two example blog posts: The first post should be your version of a blog post written to cover the revelation of the Star Wars Weekend exclusive minifig. The second post should be of an MOC of your choice that you deem blog-worthy. Of course, this should not be an MOC that we've already blogged. You can blog any MOC (other than your own) from any site, and we'll be lenient as far as the time it was originally posted. Anything from, say...the past year or so should be okay. If you have any previous experience or skills that you think will be helpful, be sure to let us know about those in the PM, too. What do we expect from you? We don't expect perfection, but good English is important. (Especially when it comes to a blog that primarily features MOCs -- builders like it when you talk about their MOC with more than just "awsum!" or "Nice MOC".) Prior experience with WordPress, CSS, HTML, or blogging is helpful, but not required. We'll help you with that if you're chosen, so don't worry about it. We know you can't be active all the time, so there's no requirement for the number of posts you must make in a time period. Rather, it is the responsibility of all the bloggers (So that would include you if you were chosen.) to make sure that we don't go too long without posting new content. Experience and activity on other sites such as flickr and MOCpages is a plus: There's not always something to be blogged at the right time on EB, and not everybody posts their MOCs on EB, so we need to keep up to date with other sites. Having an account and being active on other sites is not a requirement, but it is something we will consider. What can you expect from us? You get a Rebel Blogger tag. Everyone goes crazy about getting more tags, right? (And you get the page on the blog which you can write a bio of yourself on and access to our Rebel Blogger subforum.) The Star Wars Staff team often works with the Rebel Bloggers to plan contests, community builders, and other projects. You'll get to be a part of that, and that also means you'll get to know of them in advance. The afore-mentioned WordPress, CSS, HTML: these are tools we all work with, so we'll help you to improve your understanding of them, if you need help. As of right now, there is no deadline yet; we'll either accept applications until we feel we've found our next blogger, or we'll let you know of a deadline as we get a better idea of the number of applications we're receiving.

Isn't the Grogmas Handcannon suitable for Benji only?

Catching Gut's eye, I turn back to the faun and decide that it would be best to wait for his response, as he hasn't spoken to me at all yet, before excusing myself.

I think that's it! Everything appears to have been set up correctly. Let us know if you spot any bugs. We've got: Five new Showcased MOCs. Showcased MOCs now appearing in a slider so you can shuffle through all the big banners. Dedicated pages about each Rebel Blogger. Infinite scrolling for the blog posts. And there's something else still coming up soon.

I'm going to do this a little earlier than planned, as I may or may not have the chunk of time available at the right time tomorrow. It's the 25th in Europe, anyways, and it will be in the eastern US in about fifteen minutes. So, I'm going to be starting the switch. Hopefully not more than an hour or so; ideally as short as ten to fifteen minutes. May the Force be with us!

That might just be the essential consumable for playing Warden. Too bad I don't have the Gold (not saved for something else) to afford buying one...
