  1. None of those descriptions really fit Mara Jade; I'm not sure how you exclude her from anything around the time we think this movie is set. On the positive side, if two of those are Jacen and Jaina, that would put the movie beyond Thrawn Trilogy and Hand of Thrawn Duology territory in the timeline, so those books won't risk becoming partially non-canon.
  2. Many members get many titles, but you can only have one at a time. You can record any titles you get in the Title Archive, as Rick mentioned, so you can keep track of what titles you've had in the past.
  3. "Miss Nyx is correct; we should swap targets." I -- assuming Nyx changes actions, too -- attack the Dark Minion from the Back Row with my Darksteel Crossbow. OoC: Argh, immunities! Hey, if Madame Ladybug is Immune to Effects, she can't be Lucky, Hastened, or Blessed, right?
  4. I usually just use paintbrushes. I have a 1" flat and a #12 round (Though there's no standardization for numbered sizes.) left over from when I used to dabble in watercolor.
  5. OoC: MegaBloks. I can't take Free Hits from Ladybug and Chauncey for more than two Rounds, and the chances of Blinding Ladybug are slim because she's Lucky, yet I can't target Chauncey because Special Damage will summon more minions. And because we get four actions now, I can't actually take both Ladybug's and Chauncey's Free Hits unless Ladybug isn't targeted at all -- in both cases one of you two ends up having to take a Free Hit from Ladybug. Do we just want to do an "attack with brute force, hope we get good rolls and they're Blinded" Round to start?
  6. "Got it." I attack Madame Ladybug from the Back Row with my Darksteel Crossbow. OoC: Ugh, I just realized that I forgot to swap the Cobweb Cowl for the Counterstrike Gloves before heading back into the battle.
  7. Shadeaux fans don't have to go to the Fields, then. Nobody can get reputation from the Fields of any kind. It does affect the Dragoon-hopefuls more than the rest, but it's a tradeoff for everyone: do I get the reputation, do I focus on the Gold, or do I get the XP? The Fields are already incredible stat-boosters as it is; they'd be completely broken if you could get all the stats with no drawbacks there. Heroica's going to be better than WoW no matter what because it's a LEGO RPG. (But I get your point.)
  8. The purpose of the Fields is to gain XP quickly. If you want to make some Gold on top of that, that's offered as a reward for GP, and it only takes ten battles to get 500 Gold. (Which is not more than what a Rogue can make, but it's quicker and easier than the rewards for completing quests, and it's a bonus on top of the primary reward of the Fields.)
  9. I voted for Endgame's Great Compromise of 1787, too, if it wasn't counted. (And assuming the vote matters.)
  10. Maybe he is there, maybe he isn't there; but either way, he already knows what's happening in Bric'lin.
  11. "Okay, Master Hybros is immune to Lord Chauncey's Free Hit, so he can take that. I'll tank one of Madame Ladybug's Free Hits, but neither of you, Miss Nyx or Master Hybros, can take the other for very many Rounds. Do you guys want to target Madame Ladybug and hope to get a good roll, or do you want to target the minions, try to take them out as quickly as possible, and heal whoever's taking Madame Ladybug's Free Hits?"
  12. I think we're all okay with that. Don't get me wrong, it's great having a Rogue willing to buy those consumables for me. But that's ultimately not the Rogue's role. Healing is what Clerics are supposed to be doing.
  13. So QMs should drop more Gold from enemies. I know it's been recommended at least a couple times in the past, to drop more Gold and consumbles instead of weapons and artifacts. I usually try to drop one or two weapons or artifacts for each player, and then the rest is just consumables or Gold.
  14. Yes, I know. See the rest of my previous post. That makes a lot of sense.
  15. I like the Common Sense Enemies suggestion. But if we're trying to keep it simple, what happens when a player disagrees with a QM over whether or not the enemy should carry Gold, and what happens when a Raider gets Ravage or a Sorceror gets Magnetic Mojo, etc. You end up calculating more/taking more time on the decision because you not only have to calculate how much Gold the hero gets, you have to decide which enemies the hero can get Gold from. Calculating with a multiplier/cap based on Level (And I don't know whether I like this suggestion the best or not; just using it as an example.) is a new calculation that replaces/adjusts the old one, but it doesn't require two steps with one of the steps being subjective as the Common Sense Enemies proposal does.
  16. Yep, and it doesn't look like there were any prototypes in other colors that got out and were ever sold on BL, either. (Unsurprising, since red is the typical color used for those prototypes, and that piece is already in red.) If you really wanted a violet one, you could always dye it or paint it -- though I suspect that violet will be a difficult color to match perfectly.
  17. Neither would make sense unless you actually paid for the food with Gold at that bakery. Just because this is a fantasy game doesn't mean you can use magic to explain creating items outside of the rules. You've used this magically appearing food to influence NPCs, and that really shouldn't be allowed to happen through an item that you just made up. If you want to roleplay around an item that appears out of nowhere, fine (but even that is a stretch), but you shouldn't be able to use an item that you just create* in order to affect the statistical and non-roleplaying events of the game.*Unless you had the time to create an item, you explained how you created it, you had the resources to create it, and the QM confirmed that it was added to the game, as was done in Quest 17. Which is not the case with this magic bag of food.
  18. That's a very good point. It does have a very minifig-ish style, a little shorter and squatter, a little bulkier, some harder edges, but not too exaggerated. The promotion was one of the reasons I found it a fitting time for an avatar change (Because I last changed it shortly after I was promoted to Reg), but it didn't really play a part in my choosing of the minifig.
  19. You mean I'm supposed to have a storyline planned before I let players do whatever they want? Storylines, roleplaying, character development... I'm not sure what they are.
  20. I'm pleased to introduce the two EB members we've selected to join the blogging team: ISDIronClaw and Lobot. ISDIronClaw is a skilled builder who has built an incredible Imperial-class Star Destroyer with an interior in addition to modding some sets, while Lobot is well-known on EB for his topics on Bricklinking UCS sets. Welcome!
  21. Applications are closed. (Actually you have, uh, one minute left as of this posting.)
  22. "I think she went into the kitchen. Can we get there without going through the main hall?"
  23. That does look good. The single cockpit kind of bugs me, but it would look even worse if there were two of them on a vehicle of this scale. The wing and rocket launcher area does look a little bulky...not sure how to fix it while keeping the look of the set, though. It does miss the wing turrets.
