There're a few people there, more that you probably would've expected to see considering the state of the village. Looking at the signs of the buildings, you see a number of open establishments: Bank of R'kilf R'kilf Magic Shop R'kilf Potion Co. Blacksmith The Party on the Outskirts: "So, you have come here for information. I have some for you. Something festers in the heart of R'kilf. Something you have failed to see. But the great Pongcanae leader has seen it! Even now, he presses his advantage. His attack will come soon. "The human 'resistance' is nonexistent, the Pongcanae are interested only in theft, and the elves command neither respect nor power. The Mopag High Council has sent me here to make the land safe for our settlement to the north, to control the road between the two villages, to defeat the Pongcanae that threaten our people before they can defeat us."
  5. And she was initially cooperative with me, too, but I decided to attack the bystanders to make sure they couldn't flee, and she wasn't too happy about that.
  6. Welcome to EB! Very creative use of parts, especially in putting together that Slave I.
  7. We've seen a couple players build Cloud City free builds, which would not be eligible for scoring under the current Core Rules. However, we've discussed this, and we've decided that it makes sense for players to be able to elaborate on their storyline with free builds related to their episode builds. So, rule change: The planet of an active episode is open for free builds from both factions, until the episode ends, at which point control of the planet will be awarded to the winning faction.
  8. Excellent work! The rock work looks great with all the different angles and curves and angled chunks, the greebling and detailing is just right for a mining building, and for one reason or another, I love that little landing platform.
  9. Nice. Much more Cloud City-esque.
  10. "I see. And what are your intended actions?" "Yes, that is correct. Best of luck, Lord Boomingham."
  11. OoC: Aaaarrrggghhh!!! Why the MegaBloks did we not think to use the Neutralizer after Pandy and I were both KO'd before buffing ourselves?! I repeat.
  12. It is primarily minifig scale, but if you want to do something like forced-perspective, then you can do that with other scales.
  13. "Then we are here on common purpose...friend. What brings you to my camp?"
  14. Building on what Draggy said, we often take elements from other popular publications as well, so don't be afraid to adapt those. (Off the top of my head, I've made references to Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Back to the Future, Irregular Webcomic!, Darths and Droids, Don Quixote, The Princess Bride...)
  15. Sure; there's no rule that you have to use the SoNE avatar as your EB avatar.
  16. Definitely use it. It's been my go-to technique for SNOT whenever I start building something for a couple years; it's still my favorite. In most cases the headlight brick technique is probably going to be less bulky than that pin assembly.
  17. Concept art and most fan-made studio-type models, along with the (less orange tinted, and shown in front of a grey building) screencaps from the end of Jedi point to a reddish-orange color, so there's not really a wrong choice. I've seen them done in both colors. I think the orange might have a little bit more 'Bespin-y' feel, but the red undoubtedly offers a much better selection of pieces to work with. I personally prefer the red, which seems more accurate to me, but ultimately they both look good, and in judging it'll probably be more about how well you shape and detail than whether you choose to use red or orange.
  18. Covers up the studs on the sides if you only want reversed studs and not studs going off in the two other directions. Not sure what you're saying. If you're suggesting that the cap be covered up by another plate, then you end up with a protruding plate, plus the gap is still there so it can still throw off the dimensions when you're trying to make everything fit.
