[SoNE Ep. I] Skirmish at bridge F-G
Brickdoctor replied to Nom Carver's topic in Nar Eurbrikka Archive
Looks better. I would think about adding some sort of wall at the end of one of the platforms. Doors, pipes, vents, typical Cloud City stuff can be integrated there. -
I attack Avery from the Back Row with my Darksteel Crossbow.

Heroica RPG - Quest #77: Your Elves are Better than Ours
Brickdoctor replied to Brickdoctor's topic in The Heroica Archive
"I am a merchant of sorts. Being a hobgoblin, I am hired by the lesser shipping companies in the Freeport who cannot afford to pay much, and I must safely transport their goods to the other cities on Uland. I'm waiting here for a couple days to see if the Pongcanis activity subsides a bit before heading back out." -

Come with me." The hoplite leads you to a larger tent. Two guards stand outside it, and it has been set up with short wooden walls for a little added defense. Inside are crates and barrels and more than anything else, chests, chests filled with swords and other presumably expensive items that you cannot see. In the middle of the tent sits a table, with a map upon it. "Mysa dapnap oma, da nozzie mokie zaks." "Hata! I am Warlord Kaherdin the Awesome. What can I do for you, travelers?" In the R'kilf Inn: "Up? Well, the sky is up..." -
I love the lamps on the entry platform and the doorway that it leads to. Perfect Cloud City look. But then I get to the rows of arches with the pearl gold and the light blue...and maybe it fits in with some of what we think of Cloud City as, but it seems a little castle-ish or fantasy-ish to me. I think I'd go with more greys and tans there.

SoNE Contest Episode I: Shadows of Nar Eurbrikka
Brickdoctor replied to Brickdoctor's topic in Nar Eurbrikka Archive
Unless you're going for movie accuracy, because then you'll have to find where all the discrepancies between the game and the movie are, and that's definitely no fun at all. -
Use the Technic pieces if you want to cover up the studs sticking out on the sides. (Not in the shot because the slight difference in placement of the hole vs. placement of the stud makes it an illegal build.)

Wow, this is the perfect way to combine all those scenes happening at about the same time into one diorama. And it's got both excellent organic landscaping and excellent mechanical, angular greebling in the same MOC. I also think you did a great job improving that cutaway in the Death Star surface, too. (As compared to the sort of exploded look of your cutaways in the "Star Wars in the Real World" build.)

[SoNE] Chapter 1 - Learning from the Great Warriors
Brickdoctor replied to Ninja Nin's topic in Nar Eurbrikka Archive
Usually I would roll my eyes at anybody who said that they're Star Wars ninjas trained by Force-sensitive Dark Side users, but you pulled it off! Love the Ninjago-style training session, and the hut that looks pieced together and formed from stone at the same time. -
[SoNE Free Build] Almost there...
Brickdoctor replied to LegoFjotten's topic in Nar Eurbrikka Archive
Very nice work! Very sleek in the upper level, and good use of piping below. I think a little more white on top and a little more greebling below might help the contrast between the two different levels. -
[SoNE Ep.I] The Surveillance Room
Brickdoctor replied to Captain Settle's topic in Nar Eurbrikka Archive
I like the concept, but like others said, it does feel a little small. A cramped surveillance room isn't a bad thing, but you could the do the hallway outside, the machinery behind it, another room where the poison is spreading and killing people... And I'd also expect to see a lot more piping and wiring and vents in a room like this. -

Or you can find one of those screencap sites that screenshots frames every second or so from the entire movie. -

No, you need 25 XP to unlock Storm Commandos, Shadow Troopers, Dark Troopers, and other commando-type troopers. -

"We do not appear to want the village because we have not yet decided if we want to help it. We tracked a group of pirates to this lawless city, and my king received a message from one of our contacts that the resistance would be willing to aid our efforts to eradicate pirates in exchange for our help bringing order to the village. We came here to negotiate, but the resistance is proving impossible to locate."
