  1. Taking the lead, Boomingham, you walk with Alexander to the R'kilf Inn, and enter the rather well-kept building. The Party at the Inn: Lord Lawrence Boomingham (Zepher) 46 year-old male human Paladin Level 26.67 *Counterstriking* *Immune to Fragile, Sleep, Weakened, and Blindness* *Encouraged* Power: 42 (Level 26 + WP: 11 + Power Bonus: 5) Defense: 12 (SP: 7 + SP: 5) Health: 49/49 (Base HP: 10 + Level bonus: 25 + Class bonus: 11 + Permanent bonus: 3) Ether: 25/25 (Base Ether: 0 + Level/Class bonus: 25) Gold: 13 (Owes 128 Gold to Arthur Justus Regulus VII [Flipz], 1 Gold to Bartholomew Docken [brickdoctor], and 75 Gold to Sorrow [Endgame]) Equipment: Scupperer (WP: 11; Darkness-, Fire-elemental; inflicts Bleeding and Badly Poisoned; great sword) Round Metal Shield (SP: 7), Counterstrike Gloves, Heavy Armor (SP: 5; Immune to Fragile), Tome of Affluence (+10 Gold if equipped for the entirety of a battle; Immune to Sleep, Weakened, and Blindness; accessory), *Pseudo's Blessing's Blessing (+4 Power; not an artifact)* Inventory: Frozen Saber (WP: 9; Light-, Ice-elemental; inflicts Stunned; great sword), • Marksman's Monocle (Misses are rerolled), Hood of Belthazar Bluehood (Power +4; Ether -6; headwear), • Garnet, Sapphire, • Scroll of Blindness, Scroll of Weakening, Scroll of Fragility, Scroll of Sealing, • Meads (5), Mulled Wine, Fire Brandy (Encouraged, Immune to Ice), Emerald Lamp of Summoning, Hamantasch (Lucky, Blessed), Admantite Shard (1/4 of a piece of Adamantite), Tonic, Milk, • Bedroll Alexander Vandangant (Wedge09) 99 year-old male elven Hunter Level 15 Power: 22 (Level 15 + WP: 7 + Power Bonus: 0) Defense: 5 (SP: 2 + SP: 3) Health: 28/28 (Base HP: 6 + Level bonus: 14 + Class bonus: 6 + Artifact bonus: 2) Gold: 90 Equipment: Fauxthril Crossbow (WP: 7; Darkness-elemental; Hollow Blade [nothing stored]), Chevalier of Charis Armor (Max HP +2; SP: 2; bodywear), Tricorne (SP: 3; headwear) Inventory: Delfrin Crossbow (WP: 5), Giant Club (WP: 8), • Duplovian Helmets of the Guard (SP: 2, Immune to Magic and Healing)(2), Sterile Gloves (Immune to Poisoned and Badly Poisoned; handwear), • Grand Potion, Potions (2), Venoms (4), Smoke Bomb, Dirt Bomb, Ice Bomb, Holy Bomb, Fire Bomb, First Aid Kit (Consumable), Bones (4), Meads (3), Mithril Shard (1/4 of a piece of Mithril), • Bedroll, Shovel Large wooden arches are built flat up against the wall, supporting more arches that then arc over your heads to support the ceiling. Wooden planks beneath your feet extend across the floor around the room, giving way to steps down to a tiled area in the center. At the far end is placed a desk and a table, part of which has been flipped up to allow the innkeeper to walk through a gap between the two pieces of furniture. A bookshelf is set off to the side, presumably holding records of the guests, and a few other individuals are in the foyer with you. It is a perfect image of a wealthy, peaceful R'kilf...save for a loaded crossbow lain against the shelves. "Good afternoon, sirs, welcome to the R'kilf Inn. How can I help you?"
  2. I vaguely remember someone else reporting this before... Are you using Internet Explorer? I think that was the problem last time.
  3. Continuing to improve. Sand looks better now that it's not flat; I think the only thing it's missing is some smaller 1x1 and 1x2 plates randomly placed around the mini dunes to smooth things out. Same with the ruins; they're only missing some smaller bits to finish off the look. I like the tank, too, though I would try something a bit more angular, less curved in the middle cabin area.
  4. He's not claiming to be a commando or carrying a bunch of equipment that makes him look like one; he looks more like a smuggler or other neutral pilot who's joining the Alliance. It's fine. It's plausible for the Rebels to have a lot of members who don't have standard uniforms, anyways. (Unlike the Empire.)
  5. Very creative interpretation of the assignment, and those grooved bricks used in the windows are excellent parts usage. It feels a little cramped, but in this case I think that that's a good thing, showing how many people are in this ship. I do think that, as has been said, some more greys would be nice, and I'd also add some sort of medical equipment as well. (Don't forget that your entry is a WIP until the deadline passes, so you have over a month to refine the entry. )
  6. As rogueang said, that would be fine, as long as doing so doesn't break the rules of rank or of the plausible storyline. As MstrOfPppts said, that's fine. The backdrop isn't a part of your creation; it doesn't count in the purist rule.(Although in Episode I, it needs to be solid color, except in the one 'full blown effects' shot that you're allowed in which you can add whatever you want -- stars, planets, pictures of studio models, etc.) Thanks. That's fine.
  7. Only if you put all the scenes into the one diorama. (As a series of vignettes on the same big base, no larger than 64x64.) Otherwise, no, you may only enter one MOC, a vignette or diorama no larger than 64x64; you may not enter a series of MOCs.
  8. No... That would be a blatant deviation from the canon storyline. The objectives of the factions only concern the individuals fleeing from the city, not the destruction or preservation of the city itself.
  9. You are already there, right between LegoBenzine and n0bility. Your avatar is larger than 100x100, and I tried using flickr's resized photos, but it decided to resize at that size to 100x84. Could you resize it and then upload it again? Thanks.
  10. I've noticed that whenever I open the generated files in Bricksmith, they don't actually use LDraw pieces; they seem to use some basic and separate shapes arranged to look like LEGO pieces. My guess is that LDD doesn't recognize any LDraw pieces in the file, so it doesn't add any LDD pieces in their places. I would download an LDraw editor to view the generated model and recreate the model manually in LDD.
  11. I don't think it would be harmful for those to be judged as separate MOCs. You can't take advantage of the system that way, since there is the limit on free builds per episode. The micro freighter is excellent! it has a very rusty, dirty, hired look to it, but it avoids looking post-apoc-ish or steampunk-ish. Also reminds me of a flying boat, which seems fitting as a hired ship out of a swamp planet. Your story is well-done, too, leading into your character's experience in Episode I.
  12. OoC: I'm dealing Damage while the Assassin and Battle Mage are dropping -- what's going on?! JimB, since you can't assassinate Avery, I suggest you use an Essence on Pandy, and then maybe give her a Nostrum. I attack Avery twice from the Back Row with my Darksteel Crossbow.
  13. Ah, yes, I forgot about that rule: You may do the full digital background compositing, effects, text, erasing supports, etc. for one picture. All the other pictures, you may only perform color adjustment and replace the backdrop with a solid color. In both cases, for obvious reasons, any photo editing that changes the shape, functionality, or color (not tint or adjustment, but color) of LEGO is prohibited. So, adding something like cotton balls would be fine for your one 'full-blown effects' shot, but not in your other pictures.
  14. Doesn't need to be microscale. You get a 64x64 space; that's plenty of space to put a fighter in.
  15. Leaving the meeting hall, Ellaria, Arthur, Ahvialyn, you approach the keep. The edifice is of the same R'kilf style of large, precisely fitted dark tan blocks. The merchants and founders of R'kilf may have been fools, but when they wanted to build something, they apparently knew what they were doing. The large double doors are of thick wood, protected by arrow loops above and with torches off to the sides, burning even in the light of the midday sun as much as a warning as a practical source of light. Various barrels and some crates have been tossed to the side, discarded by elves too suspicious to even walk further than ten studs from their fortress to throw things away.
  16. What is this about? It's the latest community build and contest project for the Star Wars forum! Thanks to your suggestions, we've developed Shadows of Nar Eurbrikka, a building RPG set during the Shadows of the Empire time period, between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. You can join one of two factions, the Empire or the Rebellion, and participate in 'episodes' (challenges) by building to earn in-game XP, tags, and other rewards, both digital and physical. You'll also have a character in-game, and through your building, you can advance your character, unlocking new abilities determining what and how you can build, in order to help your faction win and rake in the prizes.
