I give Hybros the Growshroom instead of eating it. I also give the Doomshroom to Nyx. I use the Nostrum, Smelling Salts, and Mead.

OoC: Does it matter what we do with the loot? It all reverts after the jump, right? I eat the Tinyshroom and Growshroom.

I wouldn't have thought that Life on Mars Jedi and Lord of the Rings elf Jedi would fit in so well. Incredible job on the ruins and the vegetation.

Excellent work! I love how you did the thick dark tan floor and sank all the details into it. Great amount of detailing all around.
-
Really nice work with the buildings. The tan building looks almost earthy in architecture, but you've added just enough curves for it to work on Bespin. As far as the orange clouds, I think that in the case of clouds, it's important that it's clear what they are, clouds and not somewhat blocky orange blobs, and the clouds are just white clouds tinted by an orange sky, so while I'd like to see orange sky, I'd go with white clouds.

[SoNE Ep. I] Dogfight over the Cloud City
Brickdoctor replied to Artizan's topic in Nar Eurbrikka Archive
I like both of those. The TIE's wings looks a bit on the small side, and its proportions looks a little 'off' when you compare it to the Cloud Car that doesn't fit a minifig. But overall, they look great, and I look forward to seeing them in action over Bespin. -
Shadows of Nar Eurbrikka — Introduction and Discussion
Brickdoctor replied to Brickdoctor's topic in Nar Eurbrikka Archive
As Navy Troopers and having roles similar to technicians, they'd be better suited for the second rank, Imperial Survey Corps. -
No, he can't. We were discussing this a little while ago; someone asked "can I wear different gloves on each hand?" and that lead to "can I have four arms?".
-
Oh, don't worry; I'm sure you'll be satisfied with the battles when they come. You're supposed to be investigating right now. And don't forget: it's an open-world quest -- you can go attack people if you want XP.

SoNE Contest Episode I: Shadows of Nar Eurbrikka
Brickdoctor replied to Brickdoctor's topic in Nar Eurbrikka Archive
No, he isn't. There's a shot of him in the briefing room while in hyperspace, but there are only generic officers in there in the picture once they arrive at the battle. -
SoNE Contest Episode I: Shadows of Nar Eurbrikka
Brickdoctor replied to Brickdoctor's topic in Nar Eurbrikka Archive
It would probably be better if you built a situation that didn't require more Stormies, but I know some people have used clone torsos for helmet-less Stormies, and it doesn't look too bad. It would be fine. -
SoNE - Episode 1 - Save passage to freedom
Brickdoctor replied to narbilu's topic in Nar Eurbrikka Archive
What the rule means is that even though you shouldn't be straying from the canon storyline, there are empty spots in the plot where you could plausibly have helped the Princess. Covering their escape through Cloud City: plausible. Taking them away on a different ship: not so much. (And note that the rule specifically mentions the Falcon; while it doesn't say it, it implies that the Princess is still on that ship.) If you want to do it this way, it's not completely implausible; we can call it...transporting the Princess around a checkpoint to get to the Falcon, or something like that. -
Oh, I just noticed: The catalog mentions a February release. Maybe that's just the Great Vehicles portion, but that still seems like a big part of the System main release for the wave.

Thanks for the link! Couple thoughts: Boo, no Boga in the Wheel Bike Battle on Saleucami looks like it's not a BP. Why the Royal Guards in a BP? One, maybe would be okay. Two is too many. I don't want to army build Royal Guards; I want to get what's written in the title: DS Troopers. Some of these look very very very preliminary, particularly the DS BP. I don't like the look of the Microfighters, and I hope that those are likewise very preliminary.

MegaBloks, it was; I missed it when I updated the first post. Carry on.

"Vá lerteä intyeä i Casar ar Firyar leryavë mananyë quendir. Man mentaneldë?" I do not imagine that [the race of] dwarves and [the race of] men freely helped elves. Who sent you? -
I was surprised when you didn't at least try to bargain for it. Ah. I PMed you.

Heroica RPG - Quest #77: Your Elves are Better than Ours

QM Note: Oh, that's where I saw an Uruk before! It was Pie's in the Writeboard Pseudo-Quests! Did we ever see a race and culture established for this minifig? I didn't really decide on anything, other than that if you look at the URL of the avatar, you'll see that I gave him a name in Klingon. "Right. Those bIHnuch elves and their patrols make it impossible to sell weapons to anyone other than themselves. But at least the constant conflict means that I'm always busy fixing equipment, even if I can't make and sell it." Services: Upgrade Equipment (+1 Power): Any weapon can be upgraded with this service, adding 1 to its Power per upgrade. Each upgrade costs the amount of Power the equipment has after the upgrade times seven. For example, when a Sword (WP: 3) is upgraded to a Sword (WP: 4), it costs 28 Gold. When a Shield (SP: 6) is upgraded to a Shield (SP: 7), it costs 49 Gold. You can order several upgrades for your weapon or shield, but the costs will stack. For example, upgrading a Mace (WP: 3) to a Mace (WP: 5) will cost (4*7)+(5*7)=63 Gold. Merge equipment with an elemental gem: You need a weapon and an elemental gem for this service. Merging the gem will give the weapon the elemental attribute of the used gem, but the gem itself will not be available to use anymore. A shield can be equipped with a gem as well, granting immunity to the respective element. This service costs 60 Gold. The merging can be undone to get the gem back, but it will cost another 60 Gold. Multiple gems can be imbued into one weapon or shield, but they all need to be merged separately. "Things in R'kilf? Could be better, but I work with weapons. I can't complain about the conflict. Would be nice if the Pogs weren't constantly raiding us and if the elves made some effort to defend us, though." -
Galactic Armor... I'm not sure if I want it or not. It's Backwear, so it would replace the Cobweb Cowl, and immunity to Instant KO is definitely better than Immunity to Doomed. Bonus SP and HP is nice and I would love it, but I have plenty. Would be a very nice artifact to swap in and out...but not, in fact, terribly necessary for Docken. Second Post: I just realized that I'm talking about what is probably the most purely tankish armor created so far, with significant bonuses to SP and HP and immunity to a very deadly effect, and I can say that I don't really need it.

A large humanoid stands in the middle of the smithy, leather apron over sleeveless tunic exposing dark red skin. The smith growls, "Can I help you?" -

SoNE (free build) - A story by Nar'Bilu
Brickdoctor replied to narbilu's topic in Nar Eurbrikka Archive
If he does multiple separate MOCs for this, they'll each be judged separately (if he wants more than one judged), so if he absolutely has to have a Hoth scene in there, then that one will just be ineligible for judging. (per the Non-Canon Free Build rule) -
How did I forget that major detail? But I think the orange would still make it more Bespin-esque, and less likely to be confused with a platform in the sea on Kamino.
