(emboldening for emphasis added)No, it doesn't belong here. You said it yourself: it's speculation. As I said in my post that you replied to, no matter how likely you think it is that we will see it, if it isn't a rumor with some sort of source, it doesn't belong here.

SoNE Contest Episode I: Shadows of Nar Eurbrikka
Brickdoctor replied to Brickdoctor's topic in Nar Eurbrikka Archive
Background removal is actually one of the edits that is allowed for all photos, provided that you insert a solid-color background in the shots that aren't the full-blown edit one. You can light the subject during photography however you like if the lights aren't a part of the MOC. Blacklights, lasers, iPhones... But if the light is a part of the MOC, then it has to be purist and a LEGO product, such as a PF or 9V light. You can use clones as Stormies if you want to. You just might not score as highly if it's obvious that they look like clones. Remember that you don't have to include Stormies. -

Heroica RPG - Quest #77: Your Elves are Better than Ours
Brickdoctor replied to Brickdoctor's topic in The Heroica Archive
QM Note: But you're typing in English, so there's no need to clarify what's been translated; there is no translation. I also checked with Sandy over PM, who says that the Moon Elves will also speak Quenya. I'll move you soon; not in a place where I can sit down and make a more complex post than this. -
What're your favorite and least favorite Star Wars sets?
Brickdoctor replied to Loco de Lego's topic in LEGO Star Wars
We alreay have a topic for discussion of your favorite and least favorite sets. I know this topic is 'Top 10', but we really don't need more than one topic to discuss these lists of things, and the subject of this topic is a smaller part of the subject of the other topic. I'll merge the topics. -
Discussion of minifigs you want to see belongs in Most Wanted Star Wars Characters. This topic is only for discussion of products that we know are coming or are rumored to be coming in 2014. Any minifigs you want to see or think we'll see, no matter how likely you think it is, belong in discussion over there. I don't have time to move posts right now, but stop the 'updated Vader' discussion here and stay on target, please.

You don't have to. He's leading one of the major factions in R'kilf; I'm sure you'll get the chance to see him. (Assuming Sandy, Zeph, and Wedge don't kill him or something.)

Heroica RPG - Quest #77: Your Elves are Better than Ours
Brickdoctor replied to Brickdoctor's topic in The Heroica Archive
"I will wait until I know what you are here for. It's bad enough that Symond forgot to take away your arms as well. "As for your question...well, let's just say that I never made it clear to them what I wanted them to do or why I wanted them to do it." -

Thanks for the review! Personally, the nose doesn't bother me that much; the pieces are much more useful.

Heroica RPG - Quest #77: Your Elves are Better than Ours
Brickdoctor replied to Brickdoctor's topic in The Heroica Archive
QM Note: Okay, fairly big update. Lord Duvors, I don't understand what you're trying to do with the "lit." portions of your speech. I use that in translations in cases because there is no exact Quenya word to translate to, so I write in parentheses what the literal translation would be back from Quenya to English, because Quenya is a real language with real words and rules of their formation and people other than myself can translate it. But you're just writing everything in English. Sandy, since you agreed to go unarmed, I removed the weapons from your stats. I've still got them in an offline copy, though. The Party in the Marketplace: "Because they're too cowardly to leave their veSqach, their fortress, instead concentrating on maintaining their own well-being instead of that of the villagers. I saw them when they first came to R'kilf, they were a formidable army. They're capable of defending this village." You're moving too quickly and too randomly and trying too hard to keep up with them to keep track of where you are. Eventually, you descend into a basement beneath one of the abandoned shops. Looking around, you see Ellaria, blindfolded and standing next to a beggar. Ellaria, you have a similar experience. When you finally stop, although you are Blinded, you can hear Alexander and Boomingham in the same room. You can all hear and some of you can see a figure in black speaking to a woman who must be the captain of the mail-clad spearmen. "...and the Pongcanae killed Tehmes Kaye, the forty-second casualty of the first company, as well — oh, Neristhyra, Symond: who are the visitors?" "Captain, they're heavily armed travelers and they demanded to speak with the boss! Neristhyra doesn't trust them but they promised not to hurt me!" "...I see." "I have villagers to train, sir. I'll let you deal with these travelers." "Well well, it's been a long time since I've seen a hero of Heroica — even longer, I suppose, since one has dared to trust me... "Sir Isaac Shawe. What brings you to R'kilf?" -
In all those cases, wasn't it the established government that hired the heroes? Maybe this trend will change in Quest 77, with an outside neutral faction being the employer. I mean, if we threw heroes into a Star Wars situation where they were hired by the heroes (sort of as Han was hired by Obi-Wan) and then put into a situation where they initially saw things from the rebels' perspective instead of from the big bad government's perspective (because the rebels are the employers), I'm sure they would be much more likely to side with the rebels.

That seems to be the consensus.

Also, off the top of my head, Jeb's order of Akkaba (?) uses the symbol on Vladek's breastplate, the Forestmen have the Forestman shield and have been purposely left mysterious in the Heroica universe, the Brobric Elves use the CMF S3 elf, the Ve'er guards use the CMF Musketeer, the Mopag use the CMF S2 Spartans but with Clone Wars faces and flesh skin, the Crusaders are used as a past version of the Lion Knights, and the Neo-Black Knight from the Kingdom's Joust has not been used but Sandy has ruled that it should be used only for the Bonapartes. (Likewise, I assume that the CMF Crown Knight would be used only for the Hinckwells.) The CMF Boar Knight's shield has been shown in one of my quests, on the wall of a hallway in Dastan, but as far as I know it's not associated with any faction.

But some of them also had named main or prominent supporting characters in them, which a BP wouldn't, and it looks like that continues with the Microfighters...granted, that's obviously not going to be a selling point for this first wave, since the only main character in them (Han) also comes in a slightly more expensive set with two other rarer 'figs (the A-wing), but I'm optimistic about seeing what kind of sets this line leads to.

Same here. Some searching shows that apparently it's a Flash-based MMORPG-style online game for kids aged 6-15. I guess it fits in with TLG's target audience. -

As an MOCer, considering that the 'Recruitment' sets have one minifig and a small model just like the planet sets did, I like this change — the slightly larger models are definitely going to be more useful than the planets and mini models, and we already have a good variety of colors of planet pieces.
