  1. He mentions that the object of the mission depicted is to help get the civilians off the planet, which is the goal of Episode I on Cloud City, so I assume that's where this is.
  2. Yes, that was where I got too far ahead of Zeph and JimB so I let you try to do whatever you want because I wanted to get a bit of freedom in there. The rest of the quest was a lot of railroading.
  3. I actually think the new one is, in a strange way, not cartoonish enough. I've been saying this since the new Boba was first seen, and I know I've always been in the minority on this, but the old helmet with its more squarish, probably-not-as-accurate-in-shape look just fit the LEGO minifig perfectly, in my opinion. The removable jetpack, yes, that is nice, but I like the overall look of the old one better.
  4. Welcome to EB!
  5. "No, sir, you have not. You mentioned that you wanted rooms, but you never agreed to pay for them." "No, I have not; I'm a third generation Goblonian-Ulandian, and I don't make enough Gold to travel far."
  6. Thanks for the review! That Maul is ugly! Especially around the hip area, where the connection between hip and legs seems like the wrong proportions for a LEGO minifig with the standard torso.
  7. Thanks for the review. I'm not going to be buying this set; it doesn't really appeal to me. The tank droid is more plain than the last two versions, and I'm happy with the '02 Jango that looks better and more LEGO-ish, in my opinion.
  8. I don't really have an opinion on this set, but, more new reviews!
  9. In the Star Wars forum, "What should I buy?" questions should be posted in General Questions, so I'll merge this... ...and done.
  10. Did you want this judged, by the way?
  11. You've done a great job with the run-down feel of this building; the alley conveys just the right mood of the scene to the viewer, and then you've got all the fantastic details and architectural elements like the big arch and the doorway and the equipment behind the bar. I do think that maybe the floor might be a little too bright and cheerful-looking, with the large amounts of bright red that should look more faded and dirty for a floor in a night club on Nar Shaddaa. I think some dark tan might look good there, making it look more dirty and also avoiding taking too much attention away from other elements in the MOC.
  12. To be honest, while I don't like the extra play features, they don't really bother me that much. They bring new elements that might end up being useful, and I'm going to end up parting out a set anyways. On the other hand, kids might really enjoy this — we've seen it before in things that we AFOLs might think are done the wrong way, like flick-fires and Friends and the Color Palette Change of '04, but TLG tested it with kids and knew what they were doing.
  13. The buildings are a bit small and the transition is abrupt, but you completely pulled it off! I love how very Cloud City this feels, especially with the editing in the first photo -- that slight white glow around the edge where the background was edited in gives the MOC an almost ethereal quality. I also think you did a great job with the landing platform and the door it leads to: the browns, the grilles, the transparent random pillar.
  14. You've got a good starting layout, but I have to agree with Artizan: it feels a bit rushed and unfinished, with the exposed studs, the plates and curves that aren't always lined up, the gaps between portions of the MOC... that kind of thing. Of course, that's why it's a WIP; you've got plenty of time to improve based on constructive criticism.
  15. Looks good! I like the curving, smooth, clean, white walls. I do think that the walls might be a bit plain; maybe some of those random curvy white shapes that you sometimes see in Cloud City might give it some texture and variation.
  16. I can't really decide... 17 had my favorite mechanics. 31 seemed to have more railroading than I would've liked, but the story was a lot more complex with Zeph and JimB helping. 77 is a further improvement graphics wise over all the others, but I feel like I haven't been able to keep up with the Internet problems I've been having. 4 is the least favorite; I cringe at a lot of the stuff I did there. I think I would say that 77 has the best mix of open-world freedom, graphics, sets, variety of characters, and attention to detail in the setting. Plus I've been doing the thing with the different languages (Quenya, Adunaic, Old Gunganese, Shriiwook, Neo-Black Speech, and Klingon, so far.), and that's a lot of fun. So, from best to worst, 77, 17, 31, 4. I plan to flesh out the Knights of Patuqun a lot more. Maybe not on the level of the Lion Knights, but certainly as much or more than the Brobric Elves. Hopefully I'll have time to do that. I'm going to swap with Zeph and give him a quest where he has to do nothing but calculate tons of battles with dozens of heroes and even more enemies. I love hosting quests like that.
