8457 Power Puller
legolijntje replied to SheepEater's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Does anyone know if there were versions with a dvd? Someone on www.marktplaats.nl (a Dutch version of Ebay) is selling a powerpuller with a dvd instead of a video. Here you can see some pictures. To me it looks not homemade, because even the disc itself has a printing -
Do you maybe know what numbers they had? If I indexed them wrong too, I can find them easier in my database with number than e.g. a reply number.

For the ones out there who want to make the Castle theme complete (Palathadric made a good start ), here are the ones we're still missing (excluding value packs without a number etc.)(according to my database): 2586 1917 / 2890 6099 all the "Castle" sets from 2007, 2008, 2009 all the "Kingdoms" sets from 2010 and 2011 That weird Knights Kingdom II sets (most of them are not really sets, more action figures ) 0011 So, this is not that I want to say "Everyone MUST build now!". Certainly not, but I just wanted to inform you If anyone wants to know what's missing from a specific theme (not just a random theme pleas, one that's almost complete or vey messy etc.), just leave a message here Good luck with whatever you ar doing!

You have the exact same drawers as me About the dust; I had a little usb vacuum cleaner for a year or so, but it's broken now. It worked really well though

New LDraw parts update (2012-12-28)
legolijntje replied to C3POwen's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
I was already expecting this, so the last few days (even yesterday) I was eagerly watching the LDraw site, but that one day I don't take a look... Anyway, these new parts are more than welcom -
I looked at this list a bit more, and it seems that the rgb value is just FFFFFF, so that means in LDraw it is plain normal white. Why does that color exist then? Well, I looked at one of my own examples, and it is a bit difficult to explain, but it has some kind of material that makes it, well, uhm, a bit different... Anyway, I'll use normal white for now, but I'm interested what Sergio has to say about this?

Does anyone know where I can find the color "Milky White" (ldraw #79) in SR3D Builder? It is in the color file, but I can't find it in the program itself? A bug?

It's not a must to render. I'm too lazy to render too, I always use LDview

(The set is in the index.) I almost never look if a set is in the index, to me it is about the joy of the building proces and looking at building techniques. It's just fortuitous if it isn't in the index already Happy christmas too!

[Software] LDD Manager
legolijntje replied to Superkalle's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
I'm using the normal Access 2010, so I think the runtime 2010 should work too (at least in theory...). -
[Software] LDD Manager
legolijntje replied to Superkalle's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Maybe you should use the Acces 2010 runtime? It's a lot more space than the 2003 version though... Be sure to use the 32 bit version, because LDD manager only works with 32 bit! -
Very nice tanks. Good details, nice colors, and nice renders too (Also the other bigger one you posted in aother topic) Sadly they aren't buildable in real life... Anyway, great models

Thanks, I have something nice to read again BTW; I don't want to sound like a whiner, but you've written the name of Blakbird aka Eric Albrecht wrong. You wrote Eric Albretch (You wrote it at his article and at the end of the issue)

What is LDraw?
legolijntje replied to FalvinP's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Well, LDraw has (almost, mostly not the newest ones) windows that Lego ever made, so that's won't be a problem About SR3D Builder; yes, it ahs some good Technic functions, but that's also because there's not much to move in a house. SR3D Builder has (like LDD) automatic brick orientation, so bricks "click" on each other correctly. That could be useful when building a house If you have more questions, I don't mind to answer them
