  1. Not really I'm afraid. I do have photos/scans of all SDCC brickheadz (I think, didn't actually double check it). I'm all about sharing regarding this project, so you can find the photos here. Credits go to Oky, CapnRex on Brickset and Brickset user saneps. Now they need to be digitized and that's the most difficult part, so far I haven't been able to find anyone who can create good quality vector images (for free at least). Although, maybe I have; @Leopard37 contacted me and said he might know someone who can and wants to help us out. Haven't heard a definitive yes/no (or maybe 'just a few'?) though, so I'm kinda waiting on that now.
  2. I think I vaguely remember some discussion about adding an extra meta type to LDCad's shadow library (used for the part snapping) to add custom rotation points for parts. But I'm not sure if that a feature request from someone or if it was @roland actually considering implementing it. It would be a very useful feature nevertheless.
  3. I believe LDCad can be compiled for Mac, but the author has no mac to compile it on. But I'm not sure about that, you gotta ask @roland
  4. Custom parts do work in LPub3D. Just this specific part on your specific machine doesn't work, please keep that in mind. Could you maybe make an example file with a a few steps and the problematic part in question and share it with me/us?
  5. Just to make sure; do you use (the old) LPub or (the new) LPub3D. Aside from that, could you send (in a PM if you don't want it public) the file so I could take a look at it? It's difficult to give some good advice when I'm not exactly sure what we're talking about
  6. Those hinges are definitely used in the Tie fighters
  7. Well, you could turn off collision detection with that developer mode though, right?
  8. LDD creates an 'UnplaceableBricksDump.lxfml' in C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\LEGO Company\ but I don't know what it does and does not place in there. I just know of its existence, I'm not really an LDD expert.
  9. A slightly newer version of the software can be found here. Maybe (just maybe) it fixed your problem?
  10. What I would do is upload the lxf file to Rebrickable (into a 'custom list') and then export it from there to a bricklink wanted list.
  11. I see you have successfully attached the bottom panels
  12. I'm 100% sure there was a program that could do it though (I used it myself in the past), I just can't remember what it's called...
  13. If you use LDCad you can also use Rebrickable to export an inventory to an LDCad partsbin file (pbg file).
  14. Yes, these are still very new, Ill certainly wait and see what happens with 'm. SDCC brickheadz are first in line
  15. I never really looked into the ToysRUs exclusives, I was just under the impression that they were exclusive to a single day or something like that. Are they sold for a longer period like retail sets, just only at Toys R Us? That might make them easier to get indeed, as long as shipping from the US is reasonable (which it usually isn't) or if they come to the European Toys R Us stores too. Fingers crossed
  16. Aaand... even more exclusives. They're numbered 17 and 18, so assuming 13-16 will also be revealed later on that makes 18 exclusives so far vs 12 retail models. This is getting really annoying Please Lego... This project got a bit on the backburner because I was (and am) quite busy, but I'm still determined to complete my collection (and share the neccesary files with others) without breaking the bank. I currently have scans of all SDCC brickheadz, now gotta find someone who can convert those into vector images. I have some ideas of who I can ask, but if there's an artist here, feel free to shoot me a PM. @julesvincent also pointed me to a website where you can order custom printed bricks. I didn't know that was even possible (thought only engraving was possible), so that sounds like a cool alternative to the stickers I planned earlier. Just gotta figure out if the quality of the prints is good enough (for me personally at least )
  17. So... The new Millennium Falcon also has an interior (sort of). Would pair well with the ISD
  18. You're making fast progress @bricksmarlin! Any problems with the instructions so far?
  19. A conversion table? Rebrickable already has an extensive (although probably not 100% complete) mapping between Rebrickable, Bricklink and LDraw numbers. If you use the API you can get LDraw part numbers for a specific part.
  20. Same for me, but on Chrome on Windows 10
  21. You're really keen to know what they are, aren't you @TechnicSummse I dug up some old articles from the 8043 replacement LAs I mentioned earlier. The LAs have a similar code. I picked up a random one from my collection that has 14X3 on it. Here's a (7 year old already, damn, time flies ) article from TechnicBricks about the Linear Actuator code. The important bit:
  22. Or, if it doesn't exist in LDraw you can always ask here and hope another user is kind enough to help you out
  23. A lot of pre-assembled parts such as motors, linear actuators, certain minifigure parts etc. have a special number/code on the part that specifies a batch/production code. If you remember the LA problems from set 8043, the problematic actuators and the new actuators were recognizable by their code. Also, certain parts often have the mold number molded into the part too. I'm not sure which one is which in this case, but I think those numbers are (one of) the above mentioned things.
