  1. Those look like nice sets, too bad they are never available anywhere.... :-/
  2. Let's throw in my policestation as well, this one is really classic looking and so do the policecars parked in front of it... Some yellowing though... http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=1578691
  3. Has been taken care of, I uploaded something on my mainpage as well!
  4. This truck is great, thanks for the review! I have the original one from 1997 (bought in Belgium at the time) and the re-release (bought in Hamburg's Legostore). I bought them mostly for the chrome parts, I needed those for the big cars like my avatar. There also is a difference (a part from the exhaust mounting) concerning the stickers of this set. The re-release has black surroundings around the Lego text in the stickers, the 1997 version doesn't. Some time ago I built a huge crane on the re-release, as can be seen here (clickable Image):
  5. Oh, thanks, have I earned my flag-next-to-my-name already??? :'-)
  6. I'm not sure if there isn't an other thread about this... Anyway, my favorite townset has to be the 6399 Airport Shuttle, beautiful all the way *wub*
  7. This plain undecorated headpiece was in one of the beautiful Orient Expedition sets, 7410 See link: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?I=7410-1
  8. Welcome again mr. Flitwick! I don't see any reason why we should complain about you ;-)
  9. I am not much into the Harry Potter theme, so I wouldn't mind seeing no new sets at all.. :-) Welcome to our forums Professor Flitwick, we have a thread called "Hello my name is..." perhaps you can introduce yourself there.
  10. If it is your duty to merge things please do not hesitate to do so ;-)
  11. I am planning to make a firetruck in the new city style to go with the snorkel truck from the firestation. I already bought a second snorkel truck (just the truck, not the station along with it) and some bricklinked high firetruck-doors for in the back like in set 6571 Don't know when it's finished, but i'll take some pictures when I'm done.
  12. Nooooooooo!! That's just crazy! 8-
  13. Try the new garbage truck and the cementmixer, only problem is: they're not out yet ;-)
  14. A quick Bricklink search shows that 1000 dollars for that set is not even close to what this Korean chap asks... Set 6399
  15. I thought for a moment that you flushed all the annoying light bluish grey pieces you had down the toilet :-D
  16. Wow, great! That is almost the way George Lucas made the actual film that was done with models too. I love the way you did the snow, it looks sooooo real :-D I really like the distant shots of the AT-AT coming out of the shadows.
  17. Isn't that some sort of watch? If it is and you lost it: I haven't seen it :-)
  18. V-LV-07E Look at this car creation off Brickshelf: And the gallery
  19. Not very cheap indeed, but sometimes people sell things without knowing what it's worth and then you can buy things quite cheap. That's, for example, how I bought this set for 25 euro's MISB.
  20. This is becoming a beautiful ship mr. Bonaparte! I really like the sleek line of it. I love the way the stern with the windows is integrated in the ships hull. It looks like you have to demolish some more Sopwith Camel planes to reach the desired number of brown latticed windowpanes.. *sweet* Keep us up to date with the proceedings!
  21. I now vaguely recall this set being sold in Dutch toystores, together with the cookies I think it was back in 1995. I saw it back then, didn't like the design of the set that much and the fact that you 'd have to eat all those cookies of a sort I didn't like, so for considerable reasons I left it right on the shelf..... :'-( I would love to own it now, but I'll pass this auction because of the high price, shipping rates, customs and so on.
  22. Just had to share this Brickshelf find with you people: (Thumbs clickable) And the BS folder: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=229906
  23. I bought this set on a Dutch website called www.Marktplaats.nl, it is a popular site to sell things in Holland, people sell everything from real Ferrari's to pony's and from real-estate to electric razors. The assortment lego is amazing, about 300 ads per day with a total always between 10.000 and 15.000. Lots of useless things obviously, but I have bought some rather interesting lego sets and parts on this site including my Skull's Eye Schooner in box for 80 euro's... :-)
