  1. Ofcourse it is, why would they give us excavators, tractors and backhoes when they can give us like 7-8 cars AGAIN? last year when we got like 7 cars i said next year gonna be even worse...
  2. But Huddig makes the best backhoes by far, i.e 1260 series
  3. True, worse year ever! 6 cars lol... this ? belongs in lego city or in model team. Next year we should DEMAND 6 excavators, or 6 wheel loaders, or 6 cranes, or 6 tractors etc etc etc (u got the point) Anything less wont be tolerated
  4. Assuming your right (which i hope u are) then we getting a full functional digging arm - thats equal with 3 independent functions (lower boom, upper arm, bucket) for approx 40 euros. It wasnt done on the larger 8294 so i highly doubt it will be done now
  5. Looks like this: Since the bucket most likely is linked to the "dipper stick" this piece is added just to simulate a hydraulic movement for the bucket
  6. Yes it sounds promising ;) just lets hope they dont include like 100+ beams just to increase the piece counts... and im not a fan of pullbacks but im a fan of monster trucks (especially grave digger) so lets hope they will be 4wd with a 4-link suspension, how cool would that be :D
  7. I would sacrifice all 6 cars... But he obviously misspoke since the 42100 is more like 5-6 kg and not 3.5
  8. But since many of the sets has plenty of pieces for their rumored price tags (i.e Senna) so far, the excavator could have about approx 500-550 pieces and even large LA's.
  9. Even a couple of mm of slippery will cause problems, a we can see what happens at the left of the orange clutch switch gear... I would try to lock the entire gearbox in more tight by adding 15 length beams on top, and bottom
  10. Words! i couldnt put it better... it getting worse and worse every year. All these simple cars with steering as the only function should belong in model team, not technic. I also looking forward for that excavator, But at 40 bucks it will be pretty small and simple and most likely the bucket is linked with the arm (i.e as in 8294) but atleast lets hope it will be pneumatic (but rumors says no)
  11. I was thinking exacly the same ;) A very large set but with only 1 function(tip/raise bed) could have been made much smaller and still functional great. The dual XL-motors for driving (asuming) gonna make it fast too, but these dumpers are pretty fast IRL. Wondering what kinda tires it will have?!
  12. Bricklink is down for anyone else? 404 Not Found nginx/1.16.1
  13. This has to be hands down the worse 1H line up ever (in my biased opinion). The expected highlight the tracked loader comes with 800+ pieces, yet it still seems to have only 1 true function (raise/lowering lift arms) while the other function, the grip, is being made with just a lever. Too bad, since it looks very good!
  14. Good point. It would be nice if we could have a licensed set in that part range, that would be first time ever sub 1000 pieces(?) and here's a perfect machine that could fit!:
  15. Very nice review as usually (they all are) but what is this machine supposed to be? feller buncher or a harvester? the feller head looks to be a mix of both, Feller buncher normaly uses arms to grab around the tree, and a harvester has rotating wheels mounted different, but either way its a very cool looking model
  16. Almost exactly the same piece count as 42053 but instead we have 1 large bucket, 4 large tires, and 3 LA's vs 1 new pump, 2 long cylinders, 2 mini(1 is pump) and 3 valves. Maybe you have a point there, but the price still shouldnt be any noticable higher than the 42053 (imo)
  17. From the data... maybe its just a typo. But 8 inches is just over 20 cm, not 22. Same goes for 12 inches, which is not 32 cm. We dont know if they go by cm or inch, nothing to put focus on just a little detail...
  18. Its like 20,5 cm wide not 22, so it is in a close enough scale when it comes to the tire size i mean we arent talking about rocket science here EDIT: 8 inches is 20.3 cm not 22, and 12 inches is like 30.5 cm not 32...
  19. Its a very nice little set, but so is all 2H sets. The custom version someone in here did by changing the colors looked even better also nice to see a that a large licensed set like the volvo loader can working pretty good without neither pneumatics and pf. The set i for sure gonna get is the forklift, sure some limited lifting height but it looks amazing.
  20. Maybe its possible to make it go up about 3 studs more by removing the little 2l red axle that locks the rack
  21. Maybe if/when the price goes down, its extemely overpriced just compare it to another same sized volvo set like the 42053 and that one includes pneumatics as well...
  22. WOW... how smart was that! :P TY alot! so far so good, they loading fast now. Even several templates put together loading fast! such a simple solution on a, what i believed, hopeless problem.
