Its definately not as good as the previous Hogwarts castles, however, it does look like a prototype pic. As for its size, it does look like its four "storeys" tall I think its just look small on the pic. I will buy this set for sure either way.

120 CAD? Thats about the same size as Arkham Asylum or Jabba's Sail Barge. Not the biggest set but still pretty big. They usually have 6 to 9 figs.

This set, and the line in general, looks awesome. One thing I would like to see though is some kind of plumage for those visor helms. :-/

Well, I was actually expecting a new Hogwarts castle set because Lego seems to release one every three years (2001,2004 and now in 2007) ;-) . Im looking forward to seeing some pics.

That was my very first thought as well. The ADU looks good but Im gonna have to get a better look at the other sets to make a better judgement. The color scheme looks interesting.

WOW, Im really impressed with these, definately gonna pick up all three of these since I didnt get them when they first came out in '99. That MTT is HUGE!! I love the new figs too!

Im really liking the look of these sets. I know they're just prototypes and Im hoping the final products look just as good. One thing that I really like is how every set comes with elements for both of the factions. It also looks like lego has finally made a scythe piece. About the Jellybean sword, I dont really think it looks that bad, I think it actually looks good in the skeleton faction because it looks like a fantasy sword. As long as the sets include plenty of classic swords and weapons for the human faction I dont mind a few less popular weapons for the skeletons, I think it adds variety. I can't wait for these sets!

Does anyone have any news relating to 2007 Harry Potter sets? Is the liscence finished? Im a big Lego HP fan and Id love to hear any news about the future of this theme. Thanks.

Even though half those sets are fake, Im still excited about the MTT and the possibility of a Hoth set. 2007 will still be a big spending year for me in terms of lego with the release of the new Castle theme and all.

WOW... this is great news!!! I wasn't that impressed with the new 2007 SW sets (except for the battle packs) but Im definately excited about these new sets. Look like LEGO finally listened to its fans. Im getting EVERY ONE of these sets for sure! X-D

I remember seeing this set as a kid in the early 90s. I never had it as I was never that much into the City theme but I definately remember seeing it in the catalogue.

I'd never pay that much money for that thing. Its a poor design an all those pieces are not worth $700 to me. *n* :skel1:

I really like the look of that pic!. I counted 10 minifigs there (including the skeletons). I also like to return of the greatsword and the classic castle visor on the mounted knight. Im liking the new Castle line even more! *sweet* Thanks for the links, Jindroush!

Playmobil does themes that Lego would never do in a million years, like a religious theme. Playmobil has Noah's Ark, the Three Wise Men and the Nativity scene as sets. I went to get the Nativity Scene today, and guess what.... is was sold out!

One thing Im hoping for is that they flesh out (sorry for the pun) the skeleton faction a bit, maybe with late 2007 or 2008 sets. I'd like to see more variety in the skeleton faction like maybe green skeletons (ala HP Graveyard Duel), bigger 4 armed skeletons (along the lines of the General Grevious design), maybe skeleton dogs/hound or some sort of other undead creatures like zombies or gouls.

I dont those monsters on the mountain are part of the actual theme

WAWAWEEWEE!!! *skull* Ok, I can understand how some people would not like this,as it is nothing like Classic Castle. However, in my opinion, CASTLE 2007 IS GONNA ROCK!!! Here is what I like about it: 1) Generic soldiers: No more 'heros' or 'characters' 2) Nice color scheme for both factions 3) OLD SWORDS ARE BACK (everyone wanted this) *y* 4) That dragon looks very cool: is not bionicle and not one big mold. *y* 5) Weapons and armor have a chrome look to them 6) New skeletons and skeleton horses. 7) That castle looks HUGE! 8) The evil wizard rocks, that evil wagon looks cool 9) New weapons (flail, curved sword), new shields What I dont like: 1) Redisigned skeletons, what am I gonna do with my old ones? 2) That skull castle looks iffy :-/ ... thats about it Looks like there is gonna be some background story to this, kind of like Aquaraders, which is ok. Also, its another conflict based theme.

I dont see anything new... and by the looks of it, the last page is the end of the catalogue. :-(

Well, seeing that he's from the Czech Rep. and there is a Lego factory there... ;-)
