I'd really like to see a "Gungan Grand Army" set. It would be about the size of the MTT set and include a brick-built Famba (similar to the Aquaraider creatures), 8 or 9 gungans (2 with kadoos) and plenty of other Grand Army war equipment (including LEGO's favorite: catapults *sweet* )

I bought Aquaraiders Lobster Strike at 20% off at TRU plus I bought a clone trooper and droid battlepack. That brings my total to 3 battlepacks each. *y*

Yeah, ive seen them. Unfortunately, they're fake :-(

Hi Josh, I'm in the same boat you are. I'm 24 and I got back into a LEGO about a year ago after a ten year 'dark age'. I've been a member here since Nov 06. Its a great place especially for LEGO news at it seems to be one of the first sites to get news about the newest and upcoming LEGO sets. BTW, I enjoy a good cigar myself from time to time *y*

Does anyone have any news regarding the Avatar license? Even though I'm not into the show, I think the sets came with great pieces for those into the Castle theme or a fantasy theme.

Would you like to see a new 'SPACE CITY' theme??
BearHeart replied to johnsocal's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I actually made a few "space city" MOCs so I'd also like to see an official LEGO space city theme *y* -
How's that for premonition. ;-)
-
And where did you hear this?

I've noticed the same thing especially in the Knights Kingdom sets. The castle walls (especially the black ones *knight* ) all seem to have a shine to them that makes them look very cheap.
-
I'd also like a redesigned AAT to go along with the new MTT. I'd buy 3 or 4 of them.
-
I was meaning the LEGO set, thanks. *y*

Is the RC crimson colored or bright red, I can't tell from that pic.

Does anyone know how many copies TLC produces of each set? Is it in the 1000s, 10,000s or 100,000.. or maybe millions? Its just a topic I've been wondering about for the last few days.

HEHE.. I actually believed this.... until I got to the part about "beginning of April", that gave it away. *sweet*

Wow, the Hoth Base looks weak! Its definitely the last item on my wish list. The Republican Cruiser looks OK, it comes with some nice mini-figs. I'll get the cruiser if I can afford it after buying the Castle, HP and the other SW sets. With over 900 pieces its going to be pretty expensive.

I'd like to see more diorama sets rather than ships and vehicles, like the Theed Palace or something
-
Wow, not a lot of enthusiasm for this set so far. Personally, I really like the look of this set, its WAY beyond what I expected ( I was expecting the ship to look a lot cheesier). The castle wall/harbor looks great ( it will look great next to the main castle). I like the little warehouse-looking building on the castle. I also like how the ship kind of looks like the Harry Potter Durmstrang (sp?) ship. I'll definitely pick this one up. Does anyone know if this is the final look of the set or a prototype?

I already posted on this thread... but that was on Dec 4th before we knew of all the sets coming out in the summer. So, here is my updated list: Castle: - About 5 crossbow attacks - 4 or 5 jousts (great pieces for such a small set) - 2 catapults - skeleton carriage - skeleton tower - castle - skeleton attack ship (if it exists) StarWars: Basically 1 of each set: Naboo fighter, MTT, jedi starfighter, Sith Infiltrator. Harry Potter: The Hogwarts Castle City: - Recycling Truck - Cement Mixer - Gas Station - Sea Port Space: - The smallest set (just for the little alien fig :-P )
-
My wishlist: -The whole Castle 2007 Theme -Harry Potter Castle -All the summer SW sets -The two batman sets And maybe a few of the smaller city sets like the recycling truck and cement mixer
-
Seeing that all the new Castle sets so far include parts of both factions, I'm hoping that this new skeleton ship set will include a nice coastal fortress for the Crown Knights or something along those lines. Judging by the price, the set is going to be about the size of the viking ship.

Thats an interesting observation. Im really hoping that its just a coincidence. There was human vs human conflict as late the last KK2 sets from mid 2006 but as you've pointed out, the newest themes seemed to be centered around human vs other conflicts. This would definately be a hinderance towards a new pirate theme (at least a pirate theme that AFOLs would be satisfied with). On the bright side, this apparent avoidance of human on human conflict could lead to some actual non-conflict themes in the future, themes centered around civilian life, exploration or history. I know... I know... conflict and action is what sells toys like LEGO but an AFOL can dream... :-P PS. I also think this new set is definately part of the Castle theme and not a pirate set.

I'm really hoping its drastically different from the Rogue Knight Battleship set. And if its a similar, I hope at least it comes with some good pieces. *knight* --> *skull* = >:-(
