Holy shit, Batman! There are many possible implications here. I think everyone has covered all of the points by now.

What roles did you assign to different colored astronaut minifigs?
Artanis I replied to hagridshut's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
I must've been the only person who used the different colours to signify rank. Not just Space, but also Castle and Pirates (epaulettes & plumes). Typically whatever was the most rare was of the higher rank. For Classic, blue was my most common minifig, so they were the grunts. Then yellow, red, white & black. Now green & pink complicate things... For Futuron it was yellow, followed by blue, black & red. Now there's the green that doesn't quite match. For Castle it was red plumes, then yellow, blue, black/white depending on faction. For Pirates, red was most common on blue-coats, blue most common on red-coats. After that it was yellow, then brown, black/white depending. Most other Space factions had the same coloured uniform so rank was represented by other differences or by adding epaulettes. -

What is "<insert that tiresome argument> ?"
Artanis I replied to Pdaitabird's topic in Forum Information and Help
People used to complain about it a lot, hence why the admins edited the swear filter to replace it -
Photograph it next to known colours for comparison. Where did you get it? Obviously not from a set. Is it an older part (ie 15+ years)?

Did you reply via email or Bricklink message system? Some sellers (especially high volume ones) on ebay/Bricklink etc exclusively use the built-in message system for communication because important emails can get lost in the crowd of the unimportant multitudes. I always send communications via the message system. If this is what you did then the BL staff can see that, and be on your side.

There are a few threads on this site about "de-yellowing" if you want to search for more information and experiences -
Looks terrific, that's the smallest one I've seen. Usually they're much bigger to try to get the accurate shape, so this one is better. Has it researched Yamato Cannon?

How can you omit his face?!? Otherwise it's just a train. -
Latest impact of other themes on historic themes
Artanis I replied to Wardancer's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Most likely the arms will break before the torso. I have a few very old (70s/80s) torsos that have a hairline crack, and a few broken arms of unknown vintage (not new) from 100s of minifigs. But most of the time the worst thing you may encounter (as already mentioned), is loose hanging arms after repeated swapping. -
I actually like both versions, but one of them is 1000x cooler... And that face looks like a putrified TIE pilot

Blacktron bounty hunter... lore fail, but awesome minifig!!!

LEGO Masters US wants Paokus... apparently...

The Australian version ended up being shown in prime time on Channel 9. I seriously expected it to be some forgotten satellite show too. Maybe you guys will be as lucky as us. It was a good show, they really turned down the 'reality show drama' garbage (not completely off, but significantly down). -

Monkey as in Monkey!? A bit of a cult show around here. "Monkey magic... monkey magic... monkey magic..." (guess the next line) -
The Future of Lego Space. (opinions, ideas, discussion)
Artanis I replied to Trekkie99's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
This line is waaaaay too close to home to be 'true' Space (as in, under the same umbrella as previous Space releases). Space sub-themes used to be about deep space and the great unknown, a far off fantasy that could never happen in our lifetime or the next. This is just mild 'science-semi-fiction', something that could easily mostly be real next year. (Not putting it down, just differentiating.) To change these sets into "Space" you may as well clean the slate and start them again right from the beginning - with the other mindset. It's like TLG is offering Darth Vader Licorice flavoured ice cream (Star Wars theme) or chocolate yoghurt/custard/something (Thinking About Planning To Suggest Ideas For Designing Technology For Potentially Going To Mars theme), when Space is actually chocolate ice cream.- 991 replies

I enjoyed this show (my mind filtered out the annoying "coming up next", enormous ad breaks, "will they finish in time" etc). I don't watch much TV these days, especially not modern "reality" TV with all of the excessive drama and garbage attached to it. It was good to see a bunch of people who (mostly) were supportive of each other, and some really awesome builds. I do wish that the format was less about elimination somehow. I would've liked to have seen what those girls would've come up with for the challenges they missed. It would've been so amazing to have access to so much stuff, all those elements you never have enough of at home. I would've built an enormous rollercoaster... And I have a new term in my vocabulary: "Kale-scale"

Without the "sound effects" it just looks like a bunch of still images, rather than an action scene. In drawn comics you can put lines to show movement but for this medium the absence of "kapow"s is more pronounced. I had both those vehicles as a kid. One because it looked like Blacktron, the other because the minifig looked like Blacktron, haha.

If it's really bad. They will send a replacement, but you may need to send the original one back to them. If it's just a bit off I'm not sure. -
