Not in the catalogue. AT-TE is $100 though. -
How could I forget that one!

I would rather be descriptive but avoid all the buzz talk. Some of the titles don't describe what is included in the set. Gandalf's Cart Shelob Deeping Wall Isengard/Orc Forge/Pit Weathertop Mines of Moria Helm's Deep ---something--- you could even call it Bilbo & Gollum Mirkwood Spiders Elf Cellar or something Warg Attack is a good description, but I'd rather it was called something like Placename Forest if the incident happened at a particular location that nothing else did. Bag End Goblin Town Isengard/Orthanc Wizard Duel or Gandalf & Saruman Council at Rivendell? Rivendell on its own is inaccurate. Council of Elrond isn't bad anyway The Black Gate (of Morannon/Mordor?) Corsair Ship? Tower of Orthanc

I am expecting much the same prices as Mines Of Moria ($120), Weathertop/Attack Of The Wargs ($90/100), Uruk Hai Army ($60) and Shelob Attacks ($35/40). That's going by the Euro prices.

Myer Christmas catalogue came in the mail, a bunch of sets marked down ranging from 20-30%, most notably the Horizon Express is $129. Don't think those prices would stack with a 3 for 2 thing though. -
Nice work. Been a while since I've seen one, but this seems pretty accurate to me. I much prefer the improved version. They're a very attractive bird.

Agreed. What a horrible set model. Nice funky moc, useful parts, but horrible set model.

Have you seen the movie? It looks like an idiot is driving.

Good one. So, here Kal-El is pretending to be Clark Kent pretending to pretend to be Superman? Or is he pretending to be Superman pretending to be Clark Kent

Each new one you do I can hear the building sound and the new unit production sound! Keep going... every single one is spot on...

Small amount left of licenced sets marked down at Birchall's in Brisbane St Mall. Grabbed the last Warg set for $40 from $100. Everything now gone except: 1 Turtle shell vehicle thing left for $70 from $100, 7 Kraang lab escape sets $10 each from $23. That one is good for stockings or whatever. -
Yeah white with black accents and trans blue was used in late Classic, then Futuron, Exploriens and Space Police 3. I think SP3 used it as a tribute to vintage space, because it was very unoriginal to reuse that scheme again. I got the joke, don't worry!

Double VIP points has finished on Lego shop, this month the promo is the long-awaited (by me) Clone Lieutenant polybag. Spend $100 on Star Wars. Finally I can order those last planet sets. No new sets available, just some power functions bits and pieces. -

Saw Gravity in 3D. It was pretty good, I liked the shots, the performance, the perspective. A nice slow movie to enjoy the views and get a sense of the location. It seemed too short for a slow movie though, an extra 30 minutes would've been better. But I like my movies long. And slow. Slow scenes, that is, not slow pans - maybe I'll grow into them too.

There is also a glow around the wizards staves and the jewel on the statue, so we can't assume that the necromancer will be GITD, however I wouldn't be surprised if the face and torso print were in fact GITD. The dead men of the mountains weren't GITD, so either they were a precedent or TLG has decided "you know what? They wanted GITD, we didn't give them GITD, how about we do this time" I personally don't care at this point. If in the movie he glows in the dark then yes, it would be better, but if he doesn't...

Hmm, another droideka. I have more of them than battle droids now! Depending on how good the new Plo Koon is, (I have the old one) I will either buy the set or just the clones. I also have the old Wolfpack clones, so if they're the same I will just go Plo Koon or give it a miss.
