Exactly. Last year I picked up most of the sets in the after-Christmas sales. The movie opened on Boxing Day, I think I saw the sets here in mid-December, no earlier.

In case you missed it in the fine print of a receny email, here's a heads up: next month (October) will have double points for S@H VIPs. -
Thing is, rest-of-world has different packaging. To make a set available on Aus S@H they can just send it straight out of Billund, but for USA it's a bit more involved, and if the packaging doesn't exist...

Regarding Target's 20% off that starts today, they have the Galaxy Squad Hive Crawler for @$65, which is more than 20% off the RRP of $90. No sign of the Galactic Titan. -

At the moment there's the minifig set, and the Corsair ship from LOTR, but that's it. -
Haha. Interesting to see recoloured Kingdoms sets, and some vintage stuff in there too. She made the right choice in the end too

They are both widely available in Australia. I have the Helm's Deep game.

Yeah okay, that is a bit strange. Perhaps less so if there's a favourite scene from the book that you particularly want to have TLGs version of. But definitely strange if your choice is based on parts, build, minifigs etc.

Yeah, jeans that don't go all the way up to your chest

"For 40 points or a physical challenge..." "PHYSICAL CHALLENGE!!!"

Even without knowing the names or prices I doubt there would be a different result for me... maybe not on the first day, but I'll certainly be scooping them all up eventually. Come on guys, it's Lego! AND it's The Hobbit!

Maybe I will eat my words or lose credibility or something for exaggerating - just about everywhere I went yesterday had it. But you know what? Maybe it's just TRU and independent sellers, I definitely saw it at Toyworld & a novelty/bookstore, but I didn't get to a Kmart or Big W. It wasn't in Target, I don't remember if it was in Myer.Has anyone seen the new red & blue Galaxy Squad sets yet? I've seen the other two in a few places, but not these. -

Target have the new King's Castle for $124, RRP is $140 - all the other sets are RRP -$1. Toyworld has the Pet Shop & Grand Emporium in stock. ($270 & $250) Just about everyone has the Opera House ($400) -
We received word not too long ago that in Australia they will only be available on S@H. Some series 1-3 planets are still clogging up shelves, they haven't really sold too well. At least not as well as TLG had hoped I'd imagine.

$20ish to have it delivered from BL is the best likelihood, barring a miracle.

That's an awesome find! I had no idea it even existed. Only other hologram I can think of is on the stickers in Exploriens sets. I love the posters, I used to love looking at the pictures in the catalogues. Only poster I have is from Spyrius. Looking at stuff from that era makes me want to break out the vintage space sets, mine are all packed away in a huge box (that I can't lift!) but there's no room where I currently live to have them built.

At first I thought this image was artwork for the upcoming sets, and there has been a question about whether the new minifig was going to be white or tan. That's what my comment was about. Later I thought that this image is quite possibly nothing to do with the sets but rather for a SW Lego animation, and if the Yoda Chronicles topic is being thrown around then maybe my original idea was completely irrelevant.

Doesn't look white to me...

That's what I meant to say. Looks like it's US & Canada only! Hopefully only temporary.

And the first half SW wave doesn't usually have a big set anyway.

It's not coming up for me , there's just a mini VW Kombi. Don't tell me I waited a month to order stuff for nothing!

Except that game sketches don't have a set number, and don't appear on lists of upcoming D2C sets, but I think The Flying Dutchman did. -
That would be the equivalent of copying or passing the catalogue on, not quite the same as posting a link to a website, that hosts photos of catalogue images. Links are only useful until the images are taken down. I don't agree with copying the images to pass around (I don't agree with leaking them in the first place either), and I think TLG is acting fairly to ask people to remove them from their sites. Removing links seems a bit weird though, since once the images are removed the links don't point to anything. A thought: is it the image itself or also the contents that are supposed to be confidential? If the latter, EB shouldn't be allowed to mention the contents or details any more than it should be allowed to point to the images. After all, TLG surely doesn't want the information out either, otherwise they'd publish it for us, wouldn't they? And they don't, except for D2C sets, and that's with photos. Perhaps they just don't mind anywhere near as much when we talk about sets we're not actually supposed to know about yet, even though they'd rather we didn't.
