Slowly I get used to almost any date. If we just fix one...

Any news about the date? I´d like to "block" the dates as soon as possible.

Like anyone else I had to browse the pics over and over again to find a final winner. I esp. like the two crocodiles. Looking at the original photo provided in HoMa's topic, I had to go for Helos' train looking a bit closer to the original than Holgers loco does. 1: Helo 2: HoMa Third place for 74louloute and his Wagon RER. I fell in love with this suburban train, don't know why exactly. The shape, the colours? Everything is beautiful at this train. And a special thanks to Sava for showing pics of his Pennsylvania Steam Engine. Great work! *Poooh.* Now that this is done, thank you all for making this contest such a great success with your stunning MOCs!

First I have to say I'm deeply impressed about these fantastic MOCs you all have made! A big thanks to The Brickster for organizing this. It´s, like in the other two categories as well, a very difficult task to vote for just one train side structure. But hey, I chose Kris Kelvin's station. With an honorable mention of ISC and Kagri's MOCs who are close to the first place. Thank you all for your work on the MOCs and making this TTCE such a pleasure to look at.

I just had a look at the new photos. And it didn´t change my mind: The complete theme is not doing it for me. - we have seen something similar (power miners combined with aqua raiders) - the color scheme. Lime/gray? - the minifigs. We have seen the shark-fig in Harry Potter sets, the other "aliens" look like they're from aqua raiders (see above) and the other figs are nothing really special. I mean, we get new faces (again), what more is it about? - the vehicles: Bad use of colours - you can see technic bricks in gray next to the red shape. Some cars look like they put leftovers together. All in all a boring theme which will last for two years and then it´s gone again. On the other hand it saves me money, so why should I complain at all?

Confused by the title I voted: 1) City Corner (the bus is plain great! ) 2) Wind Turbine Transport (unused theme, I would like a couple of those) 3) Winter Toy Shop (because of its variety) and I also liked 4) the horse trailer 5) the helicopter transport As the others already pointed out the Emerald Night is a class of its own.

Morten prefers 6th-9th of may, so does KimT. I wanted to stick with the old date. I think Kim's "special reasons" weigh more than my objections. So let it be earlier for heavens sake.

You're correct with one exception: The new red supercar is 10 studs wide, whereas the older ones are "just" 8 studs wide. The new car won´t fit in the creator highway transport 6753 for instance (like the others did).

I still prefer the dates chosen around ascension day. It´s easier to get a day off work when there´s a friday inbetween a celebration day and weekend. For me it means some operation sites are closed on that particular friday and more of my colleagues can get that day off. Of course I can take leave-days in another week, but then I have to keep in mind that a) I will have to take one more leave-day for the same 4-days-event (without having more fun). b) maybe there´s another colleague of mine who wants to make vacation on that period no good opportunity in my opinion. And to be honest: I´m not attending for the park first and foremost but for the eventees. So may the park be crowded - I don´t mind.

One of the efforts are: I´m NOT responsible for accomodation next year. What could go wrong then any more?

Holy cow! 2 pages of attendees and it´s 8 months to go So count me in. I´m not sure if my son will accompany me, but most propably not. (school and that sort of stuff) Having it made by plane the last time makes me think of going by train this time. So I´ll have more space to get all the sets home safely. It´s nice to see all the eventee's names already on the list. I´m definitely looking forward to next year, even if it´s going to be a scandinavian exlusive...

Beautiful MOC, László! I especially like the arches to the right and left. The colour alteration is also very well done. I´d like to see a photo of your creation when it´s finished with a train on top. Good luck in the competition!

You lucky Belgians! In Germany the friday is a complete "normal" working day (a lot of people take one holiday-day though, but officially it's a working day). I don't know if this is the case for Denmark too. If yes, we have a solution for your problem, Morten!

I will call Legoland later about that. If the Merlin passes are still valid on ascension day and the days around (what I expect), I would prefer that later time for our event. It's a lot easier to get a day off if there is a "bridge-day" (meaning the friday between ascension day and the weekend). The weather is hopefully more sunny then too.

Looking at your beautiful MOC I (and I expect a lot of other members as well) demand more than that one photo. I can hardly see what awesome details you put in it Wow, you started really high-level. Congrats!

I heard the rumour of this track piece being discontinued, but I don´t recall where it was exactly. Nevertheless it was the reason for me to buy 2 of those immediately. I also haven´t seen them anywhere ever since.
