Do you want metallic silver or chrome silver? If you want the latter, have a look at the BL-store mentioned above. Or click over at www.chromebricks.com. It´s driven by Ansgar, at german 1000steine member. Look at the 1000steine forum to get news how he made the chrome bricks. It´s really interesting! He´s planning to sell chrome gold and chrome bronze bricks in the shop as well. He opened the shop on sunday, so don´t expect too much right now. If you were looking for metallic silver parts - then don´t mind...

And CB strikes again! Wonderful MOC! There are still some engines of this type going round near my place and you perfectly catched them! The shape and colour is typical for those shunters. ONly the decals should have been white. (criticism on a high level again ) The original (with a lot of rolling stock):

But Custom Garage was on sale some time ago - that´s no wonder it disappeared now. Market Street never was on sale, so there´s hope. (I wouldn´t wonder if this is the first of the modular buildings, (exactly it is a factory set, not even a modular building) to leave the shops.)

And if nothing works (although I cannot imagine - as CP already pointed out, alcohol should do the job), it´s no big deal to get them at Bricklink. Black and white are sold for around 1$+, yellow from 3$ on, red is the most expensive with 7$+.

I fully understand your name choice, looking at the great MOC here lately, but I hope a name change isn´t excluded in the future. I will attend to my first masterbuilders event in Oberhausen in august. Nice story you told. I´ve experienced something similar with my children.

I have to agree to Brickster: Wonderful MOC´s. Two details though: - The tractors seem to lack just one stud more at the back. The mudgards are looking quite one-sided, meaning that there is no "guard" to the back, but to the front the mudgards are going very low. Or did you use an original that looks like it? - I´ve seen tanker designs similar to this (and obviously Mathis´ inspired), but your tanker somehow looks too small. Especially when compared with set 10016. One brick in the middle of the tanker would do it. Like this: Okay, "Monteur", the designer of this MOC added 1 brick in width and two bricks in height. Thanks for sharing your MOC´s with us. Now what´s next?

According to a post at 1000steine.de Lego customer service seems to recall worldwide. (at least this counts for Germany as well). If only I had the Remote Control (waiting since march). But the new edition will be shipped in august. Yippieh!

Did I tell you what I sold the "remains" of the bricks for? Let me say it this way: I got more than what I paid... (Still owning 7745, 7866, acouple of 12V track, 6698, 6990, 6781, 6886, 6986 and 6989 from that loot. Yes, you may call me lucky bastard)
