Nice Mod. Just the idea is cool! But it lacks some alternation on the upper floors. It all looks too repetitive. Maybe if you place the tower in the middle of the building? The hotel sign is a great addition.

What a wonderful monorail! The emerald of monorails so to say. Since you told me in Günzburg about this I desperately waited to see those photos. Thank you so much for showing them. Now I´ll get to build... you know what I was talking about at our event, so shhhhh - don´t tell anyone. The only problem (as always) is time.

I believe he means 10128: , the largest of the train crossings. I second the ebay option: Try to get one of the smaller sets 4532/4539 off ebay. Just take your time and be patient - it will pay off. The 10128 set simply isn´t buyable for your suggested price limit. Good luck!

I´d always prefer realistic colours. So "normal" blue would not be a choice for me. YES - that would do it! Medium blue is great as well. It´s a good contrast to black and more realsitic than ordinary blue. I know about the use of decorative elements - that was the reason for me to build my post office in tan / yellow. Not very appealing... So I would recommend light/dark gray and light/dark tan, maybe some brown. Did you see Teddy´s train station? You know that you´re in competition now. Not the easiest challenge...

This is very well done, polish guy! Seeing your creation makes me want to buy a couple of those: (part no. 2423 by the way) to make my city a little greener. Thanks!

The monorail system didn´t belong to the Space Police sets. They were sold seperately in the space theme. One more monorail set was released belonging to the city theme, the fabulous airport shuttle 6399. Space Police 1 - 1989 Space Police 2 - 1992/1993 The bigger space ships (6986 mission commander and 6984 galactic mediator) from both subthemes are really impressive! (and I own both!)

Small update: The torso of the classic space guy statue seems to have quality problems! I wanted to buy two of those off Lego direct, but they are not allowed to sell them right now (having a notice in their list). The lady couldn´t tell me the exact reason, but it seems to be about quality issues. RangerRob, did you notice anything with your torso?

The 2x4 brick with the latin phrase on it is NOT printed. There TLC used a sticker. Well, you cannot have everything...

Thanks for pointing out that the small creator cars also fit to this car transport. I own 6743 as well as 4393 and want to put both cars on the truck. I´m not sure though what you mean exactly by "It would have been nice if there were pieces to finish off this fourth spot, and a mechanism to raise this internal ramp. I'd guess you’d need about 30 pieces more to do this." and would like to see pictures if you´re planning to add those ominous 30 pieces or a list of what you think the 30 bricks would be.
