  1. Yeah, exactly.
  2. Look here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/ It flicks through the 'journal of impossible things', with a slow turn of the page on the past Doctors bit. Look at one Doctor at a time, clicking on the home link ('Doctor Who' in the top bar) to go back and look again. 10 and 9 are on the first page; 4, 3 and 2 on the top row; 7, 8 and 1 on the middle row; 6 and 5 on the bottom row. Nice. Past Doctors on!
  3. Congratulations. What's an ACT might I ask?
  4. Please feel free. My exams are going ok so far. Only sat four out of fifteen (I think) papers- and one of those was a spoken exam. Still, I think they went well. The ICT one was really boring. 1hr 30mins for a paper that really only needs 1hr. Everyone was sat round bored...
  5. Yeah I've seen the episode too. Made me laugh. Quite a lot actually...
  6. From what I've seen, I actually quite like Ratchet. The transformation is classic, but unique (the car front is upside-down), and the vehicle is quite nice. Ironically though, the Autobots are here to save the planet, but Ratchet's Hummer mode will destroy it all on its own... :-D And Jazz is quite nice too. You can definitely see echoes of the original in there somewhere.
  7. It is instore as well, went today with my friend.
  8. I've not been to any, but I may go to some in the future. Not just yet though, I want to get my exams out of the way first.
  9. Oh yeah, I know what you mean. New York is too bizarre for my liking- a string of unlucky coincidences or bizarre crimes knitted together. And Miami can't be taken seriously, for the reason you pointed out. Sure I'll watch them, but they're nowhere near as good.
  10. Yeah, I found that out. Guess I was just too late. So I've heard.
  11. Hmm, Doctor Who obviously. And that includes the classic series'. Also a fan of CSI, as long as it's Vegas. I can watch the other two, but they're nowhere near as good. House, now that's really good, especially at the moment. Top Gear, very funny. And I guess Have I Got News For You. Sadly, it's finished now, but Life On Mars was really good. Especially the Cortina. And the song of the same name. I also like stuff like the Walking With... series. And the classic series of ER, which I'm watching on DVD very slowly (7 series backlog to get through). I just don't think it's as good now as it was at the start. Sure it's not bad, and it fills an hour, but it's just not quite there.
  12. http://www.woolworths.co.uk/ww_p2/promotio...fid=feat8490012 One week only, ends Sunday. Not sure if it's instore as well, but I should be able to tell you by tomorrow. Not really much there to be honest. Althought the fireboat seems to be down 63%.
  13. Oh, now that dig is really good. Mythology Battle Pack 2
  14. ? NAGTY is an organisation, not a university.
  15. I have to confess... so did I. :-$
  16. Ancient Rome Gladiators!
  17. Yeah, but we can dream... 42
  18. Also available in Baracuda I think. There were two other types but I can't quite remember what. "That shark was pulling my leg..." :-D
  19. Yes! You could maybe even have team sculptures, like the FF or the Avengers. And what I wouldn't give for an Iron Man mini-fig: both new suit and first appearence suit.
  20. Dick Grayson. He first operated in Gotham, then moved to Bludhaven, then back to Gotham after the 'War Games,' then finished up in New York. He founded the first generation of the Teen Titans, then the newest Outsiders with Arsenal. He has an on/off relationship with Barbera Gordon (Oracle), and holds a bit of a torch for Starfire. Interestingly, Nightwing is also a name associated with the Bottle City of Kandor: he was an urban legend/vigilante in Kandor (Superman suggested the name to Dick), and Power Girl recently took the name on a trip there. 'Nightwing' has also been used briefly by Jason Todd after his return from the dead, but he is now back to using 'Red Hood,' and the name 'Nite-Wing' was used by Tad Ryerstad, a vigilante who Nightwing agreed to train until he realised how violent he was. After killing someone, he is incarcerated by Nightwing. Hope that helps. ;-)
  21. Congratulations. Have you got the latest magazine yet? The one about balancing sport and academia. That's not something I really have to bother with, seeing as how I really dislike sport... NAGTY On!
  22. And... that's a bad thing? I heard that too. Being the Sun, it probably is.
  23. Okay then, 'Human Nature.' Now, having never read the book, I'm not sure how true to the original this was. But that's good, since I know the plot was heavily adapted to accomodate a new audience and medium. Chameleon arch... nice. So we've now got the exterior chameleon circuit, the interior chameleon circuit and the chameleon arch. The journal was also very nice, with a nod to most episodes of the new series, and past Doctors if I'm correct (First, Seventh and Eighth). That was cool. The bit with the piano was well-conceived (and slightly 'boys-own'), and it's good to explore the Doctor in a new light. The scarecrows are pretty scary too... my sister was terrified, especially the bit with the child with the balloon. 8-| Oh, and the 'Verity and Sidney' bit, John Smith's parents- I correctly noted that as a nod to original producer Verity Lambert. I didn't get the Sidny Newman bit though. I know I should've. And the cricket ball was an interesting nod to the Fifth Doctor, where he plays cricket in 'Black Orchid,' and professes to have played numerous other times: "I never miss." If the whole story escalates next week, it should be good. And there's something slightly attractive about Jessica Hynes... "We need a Time Lord."
  24. I think, maybe, it's a flying gun... ;-) Seriously though, thanks for the review. I probably won't get this, despite the wonderful Hitomi, and the interesting plethore of gold pieces. Especially the gold katanas.
