  1. First it was 'just one trip' (Shakespeare) Then The Doctor re-defined it as 'one trip in the past, one trip in the future' (New Earth) The it became 'We've seen New New York, let's see New York' (Daleks) Next week the 'one trip' ends as Martha arrives back home, only to be thrust into a classy adventure facing Dr Lazarus and his creature-thing.
  2. Aah, whatever. I could've put Mk 3,000, 038.4 or something, but the joke wouldn't have been quite the same. ;-) EDIT: Just read about some images NASA's New HOrizons spacecraft picked up of Jupiter. Including some new shots of the Red Spot and some of the moons. My God, they look a bit beautiful. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/in_pictures/6614557.stm
  3. Am I the exception?
  4. Not necessarily. There are some scientists who believe that either a) the universe will simply continue to expand with infinite potential, or b)the universe isn't expanding at all. Besides, if there is a Big Crunch, a new universe will probably be born and this debate can continue all over again on Eurobricks Mk 2... ;-)
  5. Well, time to start brainstorming again before TK gets all the ideas! ;-)
  6. Hmm, the Bat-Tank still looks nice, but I might MOD the Batcopter and Bane's bike. The boxes look quite nice though, especially Scarecrow's plane.
  7. Yeah, I offer my condolences. But it's this that bothered me: Says who?
  8. That'd be pretty difficult if the theories about them are true. In this case, we wouldn't be able to get close enough to one without being 'sucked in'. Same with black holes. In fact, who says either actually go anywhere (on the other side). Perhaps they do, perhaps they don't. Black holes are less likely to have something on the other side, seeing as how all forms of matter are sucked in to them and 'crushed.' Thing is though, matter can't be destroyed, so... *wacko*
  9. That's what I though as well.
  10. The most I've ever been missing is the sticker sheet from the Batboat. I emailed Lego about it, and got a very strange reply: it said that there wasn't supposed to be a sticker sheet in the Batboat set *wacko* . I emailed back and said "yes there is, I'm looking at the instruction booklet and I can see stickers." No reply, and a few days later, my stickers turned up...
  11. Not that I'm trying to hi-jack this thread or anything... :-D ... but here is my new improved Face of Boe. New face drawing inside, and a new engine thing. Gallery when public
  12. "You have doubts?" (Pause) "A-ffir-ma-tive." :-D
  13. http://www.batbrick.com/ Doesn't really tell us much else though.
  14. Hell yeah! Actually a very good episode. Quite tense in some parts I have to admit. And we almost lost the Sonic Screwdriver. Thank God we didn't! It was clever having the Daleks disobey orders and turn on Sec, because he'd betrayed Dalek-kind. Loved all the horror cliches, and the Daleks attacking the Hooverville was good. And the Daleks turned Sec into a pet. How cruel, but how Dalek-y! "We are the su-preme be-ings in the un-i-verse!" Ha ha, fan boys delight. ;-) One more thing, in the trailer at the end of the episode, on the very last shot, The Doctor runs by a wall. I'm sure that was a Time Lord symbol on the wall...
  15. Just noticed, the legs are bent slightly in the 'Infected Lewa' pic DV posted earlier, and in this pic here:
  16. Near future? Not likely. It'd take too long with the technology we have currently. All this stuff about space really interests me, especially the idea about settling on other planets/moons. Of course, I'm less entused by the fact that we'd probably just mess the new one up as well :-D ! Potentially, Luna (the moon) and Mars could both support life as they are the least hostile and are both within easy reach. Neither is too near or far from the Sun, and although we couldn't breathe, we could live in bio-cities and bio-spheres. It does take about that long to get to Mars, yes. But it'd probably take a lot longer than 2 years to get to the outer Solar System and the exoplanets.
  17. It looks as if they might. Look at the ball-joints there. I'd guess they're not there for nothing. But this is definately one great MOC. I've kind of gone of Bionicle a bit, but this is just great. It's different, but evokes a sense of the original.
  18. I don't think I explained it too well. I meant that (like you said) there isn't any drag between the wheel and the road as long as the car is light enough to not 'push down' and eliminate the effect of the lack of friction.
  19. Does it have to be Castle-orientated? And by that I mean historical.
  20. Good point. Perhaps the head is reversible, but the hair is obviously different. I think wqe can presume that the dress is the same though.
  21. They would as long as the car was light enough to 'skim' fairly frictionless. If it was quite heavy, then it'd struggle to 'glide.'
  22. I'll probably have a look as well. Not long to go now either, to this or the movie.
  23. Yes, and it isn't me! ;-) I presume you mean the Sycorax ship, btw. Ha, i'm becoming a Doctor Who geek! :-D
  24. As do I. They could have called it Mondas (Earth's twin planet in Doctor Who, now destroyed), or Rupert (Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy) but no. We get 'Gliese 581 C.' >:-(. I mean, we've even named planetary satellites/moons better than this! Still, it's better than the large number of planets starting with HD and proceeding to reel off a list of numbers (for example, HD 209458 b).
