1. I'd like to hope that this initiative just gives us some sets focused on Wonder Woman, SBFF, and maybe loosely Birds of Prey in the main theme. The Friends theme and the similar "girls'" sets have been pretty heavily criticized by the same kind of people this initiative is meant to satisfy. I would be satisfied with one or two Flash-centric sets with Weather Wizard, Mirror Master, Heatwave, and Pied Piper, and maybe Kid Flash and a new Flash minifig with boots and the little wrist lightning bolt thingies. He's popular enough to warrant a set carried at least in part by himself at this point. Captain Boomerang can show up in a Batman/Suicide Squad set somewhere without the Scarlet Speedster. Heck, do STAR Labs with Flash and Static or Vibe.
2. It's got a more classic look that way, but I think it looks a little thin that way. Maybe adding some armor or something would give him some extra flair?
3. Spoiler tags are spoiler and /spoiler in brackets. I believe the DC sets come out at the end of the year/beginning of next year so as not to interfere with Marvel's set releases.
4.
I don't think the minidolls will have that much of an impact on us getting Katana. Do we even have any confirmation that whatever Lego does in regards to DC's initiative that it will be in the same style as Friends, Elves, and Princesses?
5. I dig the staffs, but I'd try different hair for Jack, and maybe try to incorporate the goggles in there somehow. Great work, though!
6. At least Harley, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, Katana, and Killer Croc. I could see a Batman vs Harley and Deadshot set, a Batman and Katana vs Killer Croc set, and a Flash vs Captain Boomerang set.
7. Wow. Portal is actually happening. I'm gonna stay a little skeptical until I see some definitive proof, but dude.
8. Buying CMFs individually is really expensive, though. That torso is in the Research Institute Cuusoo set, right? If I can't get that I'll try the torso from that Claire minifig from Jurassic World.
9. That hair seems about right, and I'll definitely have to find that torso. Thanks!
10. That design of his in LB3 has to be intended for a set at some point. It just looks too right. If they're based on the movie (which I doubt they would be) I'd say he'd be a regular minifigure, though. You can at least tell who's going to live. Harley, Deadshot, Croc and Captain Boomerang seem pretty safe (especially the first 2), but I wouldn't at all be surprised if Slipknot(?) and El Diablo are used as cannon fodder.
11. I used Star Lord's hair and an old-ish Luke Skywalker head for Fitz, and a Hermione head and I'd say either the old princess hair or the should've-been-Scarlett-Witch hair for Skye. My problem is finding the right hair and head for Simmons, and a head for May. Everyone else is just a matter of buying the parts and not needing them for other characters.
12.
Great! Those'll be easy to get then. I've been trying to make the season 1 team for ages.
13. I figured KF was based mostly on the Young Justice version of his costume. We've got our Suicide Squad, though! Shouldn't be hard to purist the new Harley once we get Jokerland, if she doesn't show up in a set, and getting a Killer Croc bigfig is more likely than ever! http://comicbook.com/2015/05/04/suicide-squad-a-detailed-analysis-of-the-cast/
14. Loving that head for Ward! That's one of the new Clone Trooper heads, right?
15. Meh. I give it a month tops before the instructions wind up online.
16. What head did you use for Avalanche? All those look really good! I'm really digging your Deadshot, Watchman!
17.
I'm thinking the Brainiac set from DC, the Hydra Fortress, and another small set to make up the last $5.
18. That's Two-Face up there in that Blue Ninja (whatever his name is, i dunno) picture, so there's another one.
19. So what's the news from the past week? I heard about DC's big movement towards being more inclusive for girls, but is there any confirmed affect that'll have on Lego? That Batpod looks pretty rad, though I'd like a minifig scale one, too at some point.
20. That's definitely flesh tone, so it can't be in-house. Lego's never done flesh tone minifigs for unlicensed sets that I'm aware of.
21. It's not like there were any names involved, though.
22. What spoilers? They put the red suit on the show's icon on Netflix, it's not like they're trying to hide it.
23. Yeah, well, Joker put a pencil through a dude's head, they still made him into a figure. Hell, Daredevil never even did any of that, just the bad guys. They don't even need to put the show's logo on there, just call it Daredevil. Maybe if it was a Daredevil-based set that'd be decent argument, but this is just a preorder bonus minifigure. An actual comics-based Daredevil set like the bonus level in Lego Marvel Superheroes would be appreciated though. Daredevil, Elektra, Kingpin, and maybe Bullseye.
