Oh man, I really hope they put that Spider-Man with the boots in another set soon, because I really need Superman to have those boots but I really want Spider-Man to have them, too! -

Sounds like we'll be seeing more Spidey villains, so that should be fun. The focus on the Sinister Six and Avengers Assemble taking an Ultron-centric approach makes me wonder if we'll actually be seeing the Six in the MCU. I'm also wondering if this means more or less comics-based stuff from Spider-Man in particular, or even any actual new Spider-Man rogues, since the Six is likely to be made of established villains. Perhaps all of the excellent figures we've seen from the Spider-Man side of things have been similar to DC's recent wave of Justice League members before the theme gets very set on the films. A sort of fan-service wave to hold us over, perhaps. -
Each one of the FF in the new movie has a different look. I'd say that torso would look best on Reed, he's got more of a vest-y set up with straps and stuff.

I'm a little disappointed that the Batmobile didn't have just one central missile launcher in the front to make it look more like the Burton version. How much longer do you guys think it will take for these new sets to be on the majority of store shelves? -

For one thing, I think Disney wants to save all of their Marvel hype for their own biyearly convention D23. I'd say the exclusive figures are more for Lego's benefit than Marvel's or DC's, so I doubt that will affect it. It wouldn't be too hard to believe that they'd do a Doctor Who promo of some sort, or at least reveal a set in that theme at SDCC this year. Coulson's one of the most beloved characters in the MCU! My god, he's the star of a pretty successful tv show, I doubt anybody who'd pre-order the game would be tremendously confused! You think every 6-year-old kid knew who Plastic Man was? The exclusives are more for the older fans or straight-up nerds for the license than the general audience. -

That Silver Centurion armor is really rad! It's going to open a whole lot of doors for custom armors, too. -

I'm hoping that we hear something soon about that. I'm mostly hoping that they don't do minidolls and instead just do more sets with female heroes and villains. A Wonder Woman set with Cheetah would be a great place to start. Although, given the way the redesigns look and this sort of "separate but equal" vibe coming off of all this, I'm afraid that we'll just wind up with minidolls in sets that are covered in pink. -
What torso is that on Hawkeye? It looks great!

I wouldn't be surprised if they do what Lego usually does with micro-vehicles like that: making them a novelty while the real deal is also unlockable, either through the game or in the DLC pack.

I've got one excuse: it makes that Sandman set all the more valuable. Just like the Bat-boots in the Jokerland set. I think it's really great that they gave Sandman the sand arm here. It's much easier to get a green arm and flesh hand than it would be to find an arm like that. The shirt doesn't look too bad. -

Yeah, those arms really were lackluster on the torso. I'll probably try that, too. (I already gave my original Thor the new head, because the Age of Ultron Thor is really overdone in the torso in my opinion.

Actually, I'm pretty sure the only Batmobiles we've ever had that weren't two-seaters were Burton's and the one from Batman: The Animated Series. I mean, you either have to give Robin somewhere to sit or give him a ride of his own. Of course, I'd be perfectly okay if we got that Batmobile as our first two-seater! They do make him seem a little shorter, somehow. I think it's necessary for that all-important color balance, though, now that they stripped him of his outer-underwear. -

I'm glad it's not just me who thinks that Iron Spider is really lacking. Just a teensy bit of extra printing would make this much better. It lacks a certain boldness, I think. Just a little gold stripe near the bottom of the leg would've been enough. Maybe some gold on the arms near the hands would've helped, too. (It's a shame they used gold, because if they did that to those arms in yellow I'd have to buy the set just to improve my Flash figure!) -

It's the kind of mold they could reuse though. It's not like anyone else has a question mark cane, but a stick with a new kind of connector would be easily applicable to other themes. I'm really liking that Deathstroke figure! The tie on the back of the head is a really nice touch! Reminds me of the DCUO design (or more accurately, the Pre-52 design). The lack of black printing across the whole one side of the head (or even a dual-molded head) is disappointing, though. It just doesn't quite look right in that regard. The boat is actually really rad, too! The detachable cockpits are really neat, and that hidden control panel thing is such a cool feature. I almost want to convert this thing into a Batmobile! (Seriously, why haven't we gotten a two-seater Batmobile yet?) -

That looks like a boss fight to me. I don't know why they don't just make a stick with a hole that fits hands. That way they can just put a pirate hook hand on the top of a stick like all the non-purist customizers have been doing for ages and still have that piece available for other things. -

Here's a picture. It's no crowbar, although there were some stickers of him with the crowbar cane. -

There was confusion somewhere along the line between the prototype stage and the production stage that lead to the ant's two sections and legs being really unstable. They're fixing all the sets and sending the extra needed parts and another page of instructions to all of the people who got one already. -

Yeah, BB's face isn't that spectacular. I might just use one of those old Toy Story soldier heads I was saving for a purist Beast Boy. The head seems somewhere between the Teen Titans Go! version and some of the comics versions, so maybe I could re-purpose the head and hair into a comics version with Falcon's torso. I was flipping through the Lego DC sticker book at Sam's Club, and they had a picture in there of Riddler with his cane, but it was really weird. It wasn't so much a question mark as it was a stick with a big curl. -
Ollie looks great!

Aw, he's wearing his detective hat! :D

Dugan looks excellent! I agree that Superior Spider-Man could use a bit more red somewhere, as it just kinda looks like Miles grabbed the wrong mask from the dry cleaners lol

We still don't know what DC's new girl-friendly marketing initiative will entail, and Supergirl's a big point in that. One of the only 5 heroines they showed off in the only piece of art from it thus far. It's also peculiar that they went with a classic design over the New 52 version featured in Lego Batman 3 and the Justice League United variant.
