First look at BvS Batman and Superman! -
Does anybody have any ideas for a torso for THIS version of Jason Todd's Red Hood? Everything else seems pretty cut and dry, but that torso..!

DC Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussions

It'd be sorta strange to see sets so far in advance, though? I'd say if we see them it'll either be at SDCC or sometime near December. I almost had to ask why nothing's leaked yet, but I figure Warner Brothers is keeping these sets under such tight security that Ray Palmer couldn't squeeze his way in. Speaking of the Atom, with the new Legends of Tomorrow series coming early next year, do you think any of our comic-based sets will include Atom, Hawkgirl, Firestorm, or Black Canary, similar to the way that this year's wave included a Flash-focused set and Green Arrow? Black Canary, Atom, and Firestorm seem most likely of the four, since Hawkgirl would require a new helmet mold and I'd say a lot of the budget for these things will be spent on Batman v Superman. (Also: I am aware that Legends of Tomorrow features White Canary, not Black Canary, but I find it kind of doubtful that Lego would give us the very-obscure White Canary before fan-favorite Black Canary.) I'd say things will be about as drab as ever, now that they're likely going to have to make devote sets to the dark grey Batmobile and dark grey Batwing. I'd say Wonder Woman will have some color to her, and Superman will be nearly the same as the Man of Steel version, but the builds themselves will probably stay pretty dull in terms of color. (crossing my fingers that the Flash movie is just as colorful as it ought to be! Come on, Miller and Lord! I believe in you!) -
LEGO Marvel's Avengers Video Game Discussion

I'm sure it'll be about as good as Marvel or Beyond Gotham. What could they mess up? It's practically just a smaller version of those two games anyway. I'm going to go out on a limb and say, in terms of characters, we're going to get every MCU hero and villain, and every other named character that has appeared more than once on film. As far as the TV stuff goes, I'd say main cast members. Coulson and his whole team from both seasons of Agents of SHIELD; Daredevil, Foggy, Karen, and Kingpin; Luke Cage and Jessica Jones (with a DLC featuring more characters from AKA Jessica Jones a possibility); and probably a lone Peggy Carter. Guys like Jasper Sitwell, Happy Hogan, and Helen Cho will probably be amongst the ranks of the minor and civilian characters. I'd say the Warriors Three and Sif are going to be in there, too. Just speculation, though. The character selection has gone pretty wide lately (150+ in LB3 and Marvel) so I wouldn't rule out too many.- 647 replies

Great figures, Marvel_Geek! (I'm at school, so everyone else's aren't showing up ) I don't think the skirt works so well on Wasp, especially with the dull-colored Yellowjacket torso.

It does sound safe to say that we'll be getting a Kamala Khan figure at some point in the near future, then! Hopefully they don't change her costume too much from the one in the comics. -

That's wonderful, 8Brick! Kinda reminds me of the Robin one from Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker! -

It feels like they're only including the bare minimum of female figures in the DC sets as it is, though. We got Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn, and Poison Ivy, and I'd say we only got Wonder Woman because literally every other Justice League member so far was in that wave. Again, Harley and Ivy have the added bonus of being Batman villains. This minidolls thing just sounds like the perfect excuse for them to wipe the main theme of any new heroines and villainesses, especially ones that are going to be involved in the DC Girls thing like Katana and Bumblebee. They have merchandise planned but mostly for adults and collectors. So I'd say any set will be a loose tie-in or a big Tumbler-esque set, in the off chance that we actually do get one. -
I'm pretty sure War Machine's armor is only black on the toys. All of the HQ figures and such have him in a dark gray. I'm sure the gunmetal looks great, though!

I'd say this is marginally related to the topic at best, but it seems like something we should keep in mind in the future when we discuss X-Men or Fantastic Four sets. http://comicbook.com/2015/06/05/marvel-comics-is-not-marvel-licensing-the-x-men-and-fantastic-fo/ -

Yeah, there's been a problem with those cracking minifig legs if they aren't used properly. That's why I don't use mine at all. I'd love to see that MOC! I think not using Hank Pym for that arc in the movies was a mistake, especially after watching Avengers: EMH a few weeks ago. I wonder if anybody's made a good-looking comic-accurate Ultron mK1, the evil-looking tube version? -

I'd say it means we most likely won't see the likes of Katana, Batgirl, Wonder Woman, Supergirl, or Bumblebee any time soon. Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy are in that gray area of being one of very few mainstream Batman villains, so they might wind up sticking in their cycle of reproduction as minifigs, especially since Lego isn't getting much use from the Jester cap otherwise. Although, this might explain why we got yet another Harley and Ivy this year and our brand new Wonder Woman: perhaps they were parting gifts? -
That's so rad! God, now I'm just praying that Marvel isn't so harsh on their "no X-Men" rule next year when Apocalypse comes out, because I'd kill for a Nightcrawler that good and I can't find the Milano anywhere where I can afford it!

Truth. It's like that one comic that was going around after the Friends announcement. That's really all they need to do. It's like somehow a character with a different set of naughty bits is completely unrelatable to people according to toy companies. -

If nothing else, I'd hope they'd adopt side printing on heads. I'm sick of Nick Fury's magic floating eyepatch and Cap's forever wingless cowl. -

So WB did a presentation at Licensing Expo, and they confirmed Batman v Superman sets (duh) and had this to say about the DC Super Hero Girls initiative: "The LEGO Group will also be key to building the DC Super Hero Girls franchise, leveraging their experience and success engaging girls in creative construction play to bolster this universe through an array of LEGO building sets designed to inspire girls' imaginations." Which sounds an awful lot like "Friends worked, let's do that with our thing." They also specifically referred to Batman Unlimited and the Super Friends shorts from Fisher Price as for "boys and preschoolers" which certainly seems to say that they're making a seperate-but-equal policy with this stuff, which is in my opinion the absolute stupidest thing ever when they could just as easily stop trying to scare girls away from this stuff and throw in a few more female characters. If Batman can team up with Flash and Red Robin in Batman Unlimited, why not Batgirl too? -
Not to mention a hilariously PG Punisher!

I don't know if this is the place for this, but I just watched the trailer for the Attack of the Legion of Doom movie, and please god tell me that they aren't trying to make a love triangle out of Flash, Green Lantern, and Wonder Woman? She got a degrading enough treatment in the last one, and I'd hoped that they would improve. -

I think Oracle COULD happen, but it's unlikely. Lego would probably have to introduce a new wheelchair piece that they'd want to get use out of or DC or WB would have to put her in something worth promoting. She'll most likely remain a favorite among purist customizers for a good long while. I'm a bit more interested in the Flash t-shirt that comes in the Big Bang Theory set, as well as the sleeves their. I also find it interesting that they used a different design for the Green Lantern power battery than what was in the GL vs Sinestro set. I wonder if that has something to do with licensing? It would be odd if it was, since both BBT and DC Comics are under WB's umbrella. -

Are there any other heroes, DC or otherwise, that would have red legs with yellow boots? We could quite possibly see those appear on another character before Flash gets them. Does it cost more for Lego to make the dual-colored legs in general or just the first time? Would them making dual-colored legs for one character be expensive, in the same way that making a whole new piece would be? I'm just wondering if maybe these legs and the lack of a New 52 Superman could be indicative of a Superman set in the near future with his boots and new torso print. -

Oh, that sounds so rad! I really hope his design is close to the classic one and not the weird one from the Ultimate comics.
