I haven't actually gotten any of the AoU sets yet, but I really like Mark I Ultron and Ultimate Ultron. As for new characters, I'd have to go with Scarlet Witch. I'm still not completely sold on Vision and Quicksilver looks a little generic. -

But there's no word on us getting sets based on it, so that's really no means of comparison. -

I wouldn't be surprised if Harley'd be in it, but I'd say they wouldn't use Joker again. Lego wants to give us new figures, second only to getting these things sold, and Batman'll be enough to do that. I'd say that they'll wait until a solo Batman movie to give us DCCU Joker, too, so it's not like there's a variant in there. It'll probably be a PG-13, but there's still a possibility that it'll be rated R. I mean, we are dealing with a team of convicted murderers with bombs in their heads. -

I doubt DC and Warner Bros would make a superhero movie that they couldn't get toys out of. I'd say they'll try something like Kick-megablocks did, where all the toys are labeled "KA". I'd say they could easily make Suicide Squad sets based on the movie under the name "The Squad" or "Task Force X", unless this movie is rated R. (Has Lego ever made sets for a property with an R rating?) Realistically speaking, they'll probably just make a Batman vs Deadshot set, purely because it would sell better. -
This design? The pink hair and beard are the biggest pitfalls. I'd do a bare chest torso with a navy blue trenchcoat cut from a cape, matching arms, and black legs preferably with a belt print on the hips. That's just what I would do, though.
-
Those would be spot on! This one might run a little too obscure, but if you take Invizable's head from Ninjago, put it on an open-jacket Star Lord torso, removed the hands and used some black or dark blue legs, you could make a spot on Imperceptible Man. EDIT: turns out that Invizable is an Ultra Agents villain. He just showed up in an episode of Ninjago for some reason.

If anybody has a spare Cyborg laying around, you could probably make a good Grid by swapping his face for one of the Lego Movie robo-skeleton's and giving him some of that bulky space marine armor.

Does anybody have any ideas for a New 52 Heatwave? The one that looks Episode III Anakin crossed with a furnace? It's so weird and unique, I'd love to have it alongside my traditional Heatwave.

But why would they tell all of this to the guys who work at their large chain of stores? This is some pretty insider information, especially about a very very important movie that cannot under any circumstances be spoiled even a little by toy manufacturers. Remember what happened with Avengers and Iron Man 3? Heck, even Age of Ultron, with our first decent look at Vision coming from the sets? -

I'm hoping Mercy shows up. She's such an easy character to work in there, since Lex is going to have an assistant or secretary anyway. I doubt we'll see Alfred in a set, but I sure can hope. Captain Boomerang should be the easiest character to translate, and it really pisses me off. Is it really so hard to believe that a dude whose primary weapon is a boomerang would go into the field in a toboggan and a trenchcoat? Or even just a blue jacket? Some of these costume rumors really make me hope we get a comic based Squad as a loose tie-in instead of an actual one. (although the things I've heard about Harley have me excited, especially the one about Bud and Lou!) -

I think he'll go in for renegotiation. He seems to enjoy it a lot. As much as I would love for a Marvel character to actually stay dead.. -

I think it makes more sense that he'd come with something DC specific, so I'd say he'll be with one of the mystery books we don't know about yet. That is, until we know what they are. It's not to say that he couldn't be in there, I'd say it's a good chance, but if there is a DC or Superheroes specific book, it's probably that one. -

I'd be down with that idea. Those exclusives are always much more attainable and make for a nice excuse to blow my college fund on a tiny army of Iron Man suits. The Martian Manhunter got me three sets and the joys of one of my favorite Leaguers, so I'd love to see Marvel hop on that side and give us Coulson, or really anyone who isn't just a variant on an existing character. Basically, don't make me spend seventy bucks for Rocket Racoon in a change of clothes. Maybe like Captain Britain, Gwen Stacy, Moon Knight, Punisher, She-Hulk, or Ms. Marvel even. -

That just sounds like semantics. They could easily get away with making an Agents of SHIELD set so long as the builds are cool. If nothing else, they could easily slip them into sets as "SHIELD Agent" minifigs or civilians. Y'know, have a set like the Helicarrier Breakout but replace Hawkeye with Agent May or Ward piloting that jet, or maybe Fitz or Skye driving a truck like in the Doc Ock set or the Quinjet. That'd be easy enough, and make for a nice means of supplying older fans desired figures instead of filler ones. On one hand, that'd make for a neat exclusive. On the other hand, I'd really like to have that. The plague of SDCC exclusives. -

They had one last year to promote all their upcoming movies (i.e. Guardians and AoU). I'd say the reason they aren't doing Comic Con this year is because Disney wanted to finally pull all of their Marvel stuff in their D23 Expo that they've been trying to make into a thing lately. -

I mean, we could've gotten him already! Did anybody bother looking under Cap's mask? lol UCS sets tend to be too big and too pricy for me. I think Daredevil would fit just as well in an Avengers set when Civil War or Infinity War come around, or even just as a comic-based figure. -

Good LORD, man! Bite thy tongue! At this point, I'd be really bothered if anyone on Agents of SHIELD was the exclusive. The show might not always run at maximum capacity, but I really enjoy it and I feel attached enough to the characters to have a problem with their Lego selves being kept from me. -

Spider Woman doesn't seem too out-there, especially now that Marvel's got Spidey back for the most part and she's got an updated costume. Jean Grey is going to be a little harder, though, since Marvel's got a blockade on X-Men toys. There is hope out there, and it probably resides in the new Fantastic 4 movie and X-Men Apocalypse just completely blowing it. I'd say Fox is a touch concerned having to go up against Marvel and Sony in one piece now, and if all goes well for Spidey in the Avengers and terribly for our mutants, Fox might pick up the phone and see if Marvel isn't willing to help out with their foundation, too. Bucky's Cap is pretty likely, in one form or another. That could easily just be a Captain America variant, or even a movie-based fig if the MCU takes that road. -
I love that Elektra! Makes me wish there was an official Daredevil to go with her! I'll definitely be hunting those parts down. Loving Klaw, but you're right, that head is far too disinterested. Not sure what I'd do for a replacement, though..

That would be the best way for this to go. I don't think "too dark" will apply in the face of 4 new superheroes with almost no new molds. I wouldn't mind a smaller $20-$30 set for each show, just to get into each character's respective bad guys (Kingpin, Purple Man, and whoever the big bads are in Luke Cage and Iron Fist) but a Defenders set seems more realistic and would be collectively cheaper. Heck, they could just make it a comic-based tie-in, like the Cap set. I'd honestly be surprised if we didn't see a Daredevil soon, with the hype around the show building up. -

I love the majority of the New 52 suits, but I have a respect for the classic looks. I'm fine with both. Honestly, the more costume variation in this theme the better. Everybody has their costume preferences, why not let people mix and match? For the longest time, I combined the Blue/Grey Batman parts with the Keaton-esque ones for a black and grey Batman, since I prefer that color scheme. We've got about 5 different Robins, which means we can make all of our favorite Robins. More variation is nice. -
Time for a very rare Marvel fig! I've been craving a good design that I could pull off so much tonight that I let my faithfulness to DC waiver. This one's a figure I'm not sure's been done yet, too: Quake!

Aw, it is? Darn. That head always seemed a little too sinister for most characters. It sorta indicates a level of sass that Babs just doesn't intrinsically have. Maybe I'll go without the glasses and stick with the Batgirl head. Barbara doesn't even wear glasses (for the most part) in the New 52. Speaking of Barbara, what do you guys think the odds of us seeing a new Babs Tarr Batgirl soon? The Steamroller set is getting clearanced in a lot of places, and I'd think we'd see some more important Bat-family members back on shelves sooner rather than later. Plus the new Batgirl design is easily one of the most well-received costumes in the New 52, whether you hate the reboot or love it. -
Not a bad Pied Piper! Those Thors are wicked! The color-changing on lady Thor was a great way to go, and it's still just as recognizable. Odinson (or Thored, the past-tense of Thor which I just thought of) looks straight out of the books! Speaking of the new Thor scenario, is there some way to distinguish our new Thor from the old one, in the same vain as Miles Morales being known as Ultimate Spider-Man or Robbie Reyes being All-New Ghost Rider? The only real problem I have with Thor being a woman is that it's really confusing having to specify Thors! (And like, Thor was Thor's name. If Peter Parker loses his job at the Bugle, the replacement kid doesn't change his name to Peter, y'know?)
