  1. Awesome details you put in those tiny trucks!
  2. Welcome to Eurobricks, Zeahl!
  3. I don't see that as a problem either, but you might want to contact the seller about the set first. He might not have parted out the set yet, but only listed the parts. That might save a lot of work on both sides.
  4. Welcome to Eurobricks, Sferath!
  5. That's a really beautiful building! The amount of details on the facade is just right. I really like the tablecloth and the curtains.
  6. That is a great model. You captured all the details. The only thing that is missing is a bit of an interior, especially with those big front windows.
  7. Welcome to Eurobricks, John! I would limit the sorting to a few color groups and per color group two size, large and small. This helps finding the small parts like 1x1 tiles. I would also keep the really big parts separate, and possible the minifigs and accessories. This all depends on the amount of lego, but more sorting would waste time sorting. If you want to create your own models (MOC's) it's useful to sort per color and per element.
  8. No, I am still missing a car chase!
  9. The Fire Brigade is indeed a good choice, but if you're considering MOC-ing residential buildings another Petshop (or two) is also a good choice.
  10. Very good! I just can't figure out how you got the helium into the balloons?
  11. I finally finished the interior. With thanks to L@go for discussing interior ideas. The Dark Red House is shown here with the Gravel Path to the left and the Dark Red Corner Garden to the right. The house is being renovated. The last windows are being painted. And the kitchen is almost finished. The bedroom of the Dark Red House is being carpeted. The bathroom is already finished. Here is a closeup of the carpenter. The roof floor is used for storing the christmas and halloween decorations. For more pictures see the Flickr set
  12. Welcome to Eurobricks Ameribricks, Jorge!
  13. That's a very nice corner bakery! I like your parking spots in the last picture. I might borrow that idea if you don't mind.
  14. Those are two beautiful buildings. My favorite part is the garden of the sand green building. The two trees and the two flower pots make it elegantly symetrical. The two bathrooms are actually quite big compared to the space I have left over for bathrooms.
  15. There is no such thing as a normal MOC. Anything made from two bricks or more is a MOC. The pick-a-brick wall in the Lego stores are probably not that practically considering that the closest stores are in Oberhausen and Cologne. You should consider joining one of the local LUG's, because you could hitch a ride to the stores when they have a AFOL evening in the stores. Bricklink is a source for bulk and individual parts, and there a lot of stores from the Netherlands. But I have to warn you: buying from Bricklink is addictive!
  16. Welcome to Eurobricks, Jeroen!
  17. Welcome to Eurobricks, Darth Stone!
  18. Like I already said on Flickr: That's a beautiful building with a great interior. I can't wait to see the whole Wasabi District!
  19. Welcome to Eurobricks, ronenson!
  20. I have used three different techniques till now. The first uses a removable front where each floor is separate module. The disadvantage is that the front and rear never lineup perfectly. This might also be caused by the sheer amount of modules in the building (11 in total). 11 Irish Pub - Back of front section by Mr. Tomato Bread, on Flickr The second technique uses removable side walls. This makes showing the interior much easier, especially for slim buildings. The walls are placed on two studs, and an tab at the top keeps them from falling in. Untitled by Mr. Tomato Bread, on Flickr The final technique uses hinges to open the side walls of the building. 07 - Dark Red House - Right side open by Mr. Tomato Bread, on Flickr
  21. That's a nice set of buildings. The angled walls on the Mocca House are a great detail.
  22. @dvnstt This is another possible solution using a Panel 1 x 4 x 1 (which is possible in LDD): White facade by Mr. Tomato Bread, on Flickr
  23. Actually, I ordered it yesterday!
