  1. A quick search on BrickLink on the Octan tile (Tile, decorated) resulted in the Slick Racer from 1996. The two slopes with the "4" are also part of this set. The red telephone slope is part of the Airport from 1985 according to BrickLink.
  2. That is a nice building. I love the model airplane and the flowers at the windows. My only remark would be that the ground floor looks not high enough compared to the first floor. I normally make the ground floor about two bricks higher then the other floors.
  3. Nice exploding head. Of course Mythbusters have shown that this is not actually possible.
  4. For me that is an easy question: the Apple Tree House. It has better colors white and light gray bricks, and it has usable windows.
  5. This was my first LEGO event I attended and to which I brought some of my own MOC's, and it was well worth the long trip. I visited LEGO events before (Legoworld, 1000-steineland and even Brickworld), but attending is so much better. I want to thank the organization for making it such a great experience. I also want to thank everybody for the opportunity to make new friends and seeing a lot of very interesting creations.
  6. I have fond memories of the video game on an MSX. I actually played the game before I saw the movie. (Oh God, now I have the game tune running through my head...)
  7. This is my new modular building based on a building at the market square of Gouda (The Netherlands). The build was inspired by a old photo in the newspaper. Click on the pictures for larger photos.
  8. The equipment is brilliant! I love the treadmill and the scale.
  9. You lucky bastard. I need to fly.
  10. Any chance that it will be on display on LegoWorld? I would love to see the whole MOC.
  11. That is a lego game worth playing! I love the flying carpet.
  12. Every time I go shopping I come back with more ideas than groceries.
  13. That is an impressive row of buildings! I also like way you solved the street by adding bicycle lanes. You can't get more Dutch than that.
  14. A great looking building again. I love the way the stone facade tries to hide that it just a square building. How are you going to transport all the buildings to BrickWorld?
  15. I am not so keen on the purple, but the roof and spire are very good. The inside of the sweet shop is simply brilliant. I also like your other buildings. Very inspiring.
  16. Two points of critic. First of all, the ground floor looks too low. The proportions don't look good. I would suggest increasing it with two or three bricks. Secondly, I saw in one of the pictures that a Light Sword - Blade is sticking out through the side of the building. This prevents a second building on that side.
  17. There is no reason for criticism. It is shear beautiful. Fabulous SNOT work for a modular building.
  18. This modular building is based on a real building in Delft, The Netherlands. For more images, see my Flick account.
  19. I will be arriving at Wednesday the 16th in the afternoon. It will be great meeting the people from whom I see those great MOC's online. I will actually stay until Friday the 25th, so I have a couple of days to go sight-seeing in Chicago.
  20. I am planning to bring a couple of my CC-style buildings. It all depends on what I can pack into my suitcase. I did a test fitting and found that I can barely fit two buildings in my cabin luggage.
  21. Hey, that sounds like fun. If you still have this time, this is my Sigfig: I will be bringing an extra copy to Brickworld if you have trouble finding the parts.
  22. That last line describes me exactly. Time for a new motto...
  23. Hi All, I am Vincent and I am 38 years old. I live and work in the Netherlands as a software developer. My first LEGO passions were the Classic Space sets and the first technic sets. My current passion is building my own modular buildings. Apart from from LEGO I like reading SF & Fantasy and I am also interested in Robotics.
