That's a very beatifull house, Kristel! The Sand Blue is a lovely color for the house. The interior is also very beautifull. The kitchen looks ready for use. The dresser with the mirror in bedroom is very nice. The walk-in shower makes for nice, but big, bathroom for a small house. There is only one thing that I mis, and that is a lighthouse in the painting.

Yes, she bought it. Sundays I got a text message asking if it was normal if she had a few parts left over.

Just the answer to down time when you are on the road!
Vincent Kessels replied to Legogal's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Another one for the road is bag building. I build Friend Mailbox in the train from Günzburg to Münich (with thanks to CopMike). Lets just say the trip was to short. -
That's a really nice train, Redhead! And the landscaping is also something to be proud of. The way you placed the battery box and the receiver with room left for passengers is much better then in the official red passenger train.

My colleague called me last Saturday from a Lego shop. She wanted to know if the PetShop was a good first set to buy.

Eurobricks Event 2014 - Information Topic
Vincent Kessels replied to Bonaparte's topic in LEGO Events and User Groups
I am definitely planning on going. That's the first thing I said at work after my holiday: Next year Eurobricks and Brickworld again. I had too much fun at both events. -
These are great cars. The like the details from the plumbers van, but the rusty old 2CV is my favorite.

No, only for the shop below.

Thanks for the comments! There is lighting as you can see on the second picture. I removed the lights in the last picture to get a clearer view. The irrigation system is a good idea, and there is already a barrel for water, but I could not figure out how to add the irrigation system. I might be able to use black rope as the irrigation system. There is a white door (without windows) on the stair side. The swinging wall contains a battery box for a ModuLite Kit from LifeLites. Here is picture of the real building.

Kendrick's Destination (Built by my little bro)

That's a very beautiful 'little' scene with a lot interesting little details, and very creative part usage. -

Vincent Kessels replied to moctown's topic in LEGO Town
Very nice buildings, Jens. The green strips between those big widows of the "Green Apple" look great.- 19 replies

Bingo! But is really called 'Skunk' (see the picture in my Flickr set).

I want to present my latest modular building: "Coffee Shop Skunk". It is based on a real building. And before you ask, No, I don't smoke... The walls on side can be opened so you can see the interior. The shop has quite a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. People are having a good time. The apartment on the second floor is used by the staff of the shop. What is happening at the second floor? I expect a huge electricity bill. That's a very good building. The dark red with the olive green is a great color combination.

Thanks for the complements. I was very happy how it turned out, displayed in a battle with the only other small land vehicle on the layout.

Welcome to Eurobricks, Hans!

This is my contribution to the Eurobricks layout on Brickworld: a Chicken Powered Canon. This was a bit of a last minute build, but I think it turned out quit nice.

That is a very good modular! I very much like the arches, and the yellow and blue accents. The roof is also very well done. The only comment I have us that it is to clean. I am missing the dirt, graffiti and posters. The bicycle frame is a great touch though.

I know, it takes some getting used to.

And Brick City Depot has instructions for sale.

And another place to look is the BrickLink Reference Catalog. Oh and, Welcome to Eurobricks, Matt.

Welcome to Eurobricks, Dan! I hope you enjoy your new found treasure. Have look at the BrickLink Reference Catalog. There you can find which sets a specific part is used in. If you need help see the Help with identifying parts/sets! topic.

I finally got around to sorting my pictures and uploaded them to flickr. Here are a few: Now that's what I call Pick-A-Brick. Peppermint_M, Lasse D and Scubacarrot having a bit of fun. Start of the Miniland Tour. Inside tour of the Dschungel X-pedition. What a lot of steps... Lunch in Munich. Mike getting rid of some frustrations... Der Biergarten. A rest before leaving the Legoland park. Time for dinner. The infamous spitting contest. The judging of the build game. There are more pictures in my flickr set - Vincent
