  1. That interior color is listed under the blue palette. If you are focused on authenticity though, I built the Ferrari FXX without Gio's modifications. That will be the last time I start on an official build without checking this thread first... =B
  2. maybe you can add that fix to the finished model, which is located in the "official builds" thread, with Pi given credit for the build.
  3. 8214 Lamborghini Policia I only finished this. The majority of this build was done by Pi. Pi ran into a problem and posted what they had in the tips tricks and bugs thread. I fixed their issue and decided to finish the build. Had I not, there would have been another impasse that would need fixing as a result of my fix. So I fixed that and then finished the build. There was a slight issue with the hood (bonnet) at the back of the car, but I didn't feel like making a rig to get some pieces closer, so I just got it as close as I could. I also had to fix some design issues to get around non-existant parts on the hood bracket, trunk (boot) bracket and first aid kit that fits in the trunk. I also couldn't find the right hub caps.
  4. I was going to do that for Brick comics (I used to drive a semi, so now I can tell all those jokes.), thanks. Now I don't have to build it. It looks a lot like a Volvo, which is the last type I drove. I'm going to recolor it for the comic. My cabs were always either red or white.
  5. I was able to get this to work. The parts I replaced and the parts I replaced them with are red. I don't think the changes I made affect the look of the model. Basically I removed one plate stud from underneath the 2x3 wing plate on either side. I also cheated a little by making the wing plates off target a little and on through to the side studs which needed to be done to allow for the attachment of the front side panels. (This shouldn't be possible, but it is. It's a collision detection bug.) LXF File
  6. 4506 Deep Sea Predators only minor necessary brick replacement. In one instance I left the original brick in the lxf, but replaced a light sword rod with a whip to make the angler look more like an angler. In this image, the models from the box cover (and also the three which take up every brick in the set) are in the upper right facing left. all the alt models are facing right. LXF File.
  7. As a Black Hole fan, I really like this one. I tried sending you a PM to ask if I could use it in a comic page if I ever think one up that's Black Hole themed, but you have messaging turned off or something. If you do let me use it, be sure to provide me with a link so I can give you the proper credit. (Like if you have a blog or a public flikr or photobucket account where you show off your mocs.)
  8. My latest WIP for this project: Make and Create: 4506 Deep Sea Preadators
  9. I forgot I had that one built already. I should have posted it. oh well. don't need to now. I've been trying to do the batwing today, but all the black parts (which is most of it) are almost impossible to identify, especially the further along you go. I suppose I should have doled out the parts from the parts list and then I'd have less guessing to do.
  10. These look great, PM. I agree about the weapons. When I used Desert of Destruction in a recent Brick, I took the weapons off. I made them look awesome with spinning wheels, blurry bg for speed effect and dirt flying off the tires. =D
  11. I added that one to the LDD official set thread. (where volunteers like myself contribute lxf files of sets made by Lego) ((I also used part of this set in today's "Brick" ))
  12. I liked that ship. Made me think of the Blockade Runner. My latest entry, the World Racer set, made it into today's Brick. I have more World Race sets to put up here, but I don't have the time to do it right now. I already hogged my wife's laptop all day yesterday, so I'll have to make sure to use it as little as possible today.
  13. World Racers: Desert of Destruction (8864) Only a few necessary modifications. lxf file
  14. I know that. I meant the Atlantis Non-transparent Green... AKA Lime Green. All my canopies and transparent green bits are the correct yellow-green. (Which I like way better than the original more bluish transparent green.)
  15. 8080 Undersea Explorer. I only had to compensate for a little CD issue on the upper arms and the launcher. Also, there are no flex hoses. I guess I forgot to do the sea serpent... I'll add him later. 8080 lxf
  16. I should have used this when doing the Atlantis sets. I notice one of the colors in the 1x1 brick section of colors not in the universe palate is "Atlantis Green" I used the closest alternative, which I believe might be the glow-in-the-dark green that is used for glow in the dark bricks (like the ghost sheet that goes on the minifigures) Speaking of glow in the dark, the real Buzz Lightyear (according to the movies) has glow in the dark parts... do the Lego Buzz's glow in the dark?
  17. Coming later today: 8075 Neptune Carrier.
  18. 8060 Typhoon Turbo Sub not much modification on this one. Just the launcher and there was some CD issues with the top of the nose I've always been a fan of the undersea exploration stuff, but this Atlantis stuff has some really nice lines. I might even like it more than SPIII.
  19. Some Atlantis sets. I don't know why I hadn't done some of these before. They're very fun and look cool. For some reason, LU mode doesn't have the Atlantis Helmet, so I had to make do with modifying another one to look like it had tanks. In order of appearance, from left to right, top to bottom: 30042 Mini Sub 8072 Sea Jet 20013 Neptune Microsub 8079 Shadow Snapper 8057 Wreck Raider

    Biotron

For something containing the phrase "Bio" which inherently suggests organic and alive, these MOCs appear very stark and sterile. maybe it's the white. The brick placement is fine. My issue is with the barren color scheme. When I think "bio" I think earthy colors. golds, browns, oranges, copper, green, burgundy... It would be nice to see more color injected into this, and not in so strictly a patterned way. Using the term Biotron would make me think more of the kind of coloration you see on the X-Wing, which is mottled and calico. That doesn't mean you should put in a mishmash here and there. it should look purposeful. just asymmetric. have it slightly vary from one side to the other, or from front to back. I think even just putting accents of a third color in would add greater depth, if you don't want to overdo it. some of the white could even just be broken up with some light and dark gray here and there. Anyway, that's my two cents.
  21. That is correct. I forgot to do the joker's truck. The pic I show for the undercover cruiser doesn't show the bad guy's speeder, but the LXF has it.
  22. The main bit of creation is the saddle. I made this guy for a comic, but It made me think it might be cool to make up a few different versions of this saddle... and maybe some other dragon crests and riders... any thoughts?
  23. I made it ridiculously huge on purpose. I wanted it to have a campy feel to it. Sort of Mars Attacks meets that alien from the simpsons who's in every one of their Halloween Specials.
