Depending on the look, Saber-Scorpion has some pretty solid builds. They're more alien/reptilian, but D&D's gotta have some reptilian creatures, eh? Notable are his Halo Elites -If you scroll to the bottom there's a little tutorial. He did cut some stuff, and uses decals, but you can work around the cutting and with what you're aiming for it doesn't sound like you can afford to be too choosy on having faces printed :P The other are his "Slashrim", which are similar but his tutorial has some different techniques. Plus you can always look at some of the other pictures of both Elites and Slashrim (the non-tutorials) for some variants he used. In my experience, having built a couple before, they're actually decently sturdy. Whether you're planning on displaying them or might want to play with them some you might want to chose a different build. Some might hold together better while others might stand better on their own. That's mostly in the legs, and if you have a tail like in his Slashrim that helps incredibly to hold them up.

One: I forgot about that commercial! When I heard SLJ say "Quicksilver" in something entirely non-Marvel, it kindof creeped me out, honestly :P Two: Giant Man! :D

Excuse my lack of a better background--my studio area is overrun with a project that's too big to move... Anyways. I just got the Hulkbuster, and after making my modifications I also made a separate arm attachment similar to the one in the movie... "Hulk, slow down!" My second one is based on a line from the movie, so I figured I'd spoiler it. It's nothing plot-related, just a twist on a funny line.

Most of the discussion here has been about the accuracy of the 2015 sets, and anything else--as far as I know offhand. Please, correct me if I missed one post--has been rumors about future sets (which is technically prohibited here beyond 2015). ...I'm just not sure what you're looking for, here :P Anyways, I was curious concerning General Ross... Aside from the fact that he's just a normal, human general in the MCU, how in the world does Hulk and the Agents of Smash have any impact on the MCU? It's completely separate.

Regarding Hank's face: it could well be based on a flashback, or as somebody else stated he could shave--Hank Pym isn't /the/ Ant-Man in this movie. If they're making Hank Pym in his Ant-Man suit, they don't need to make him look how he does in the movie if he doesn't even wear the suit in the movie. It's just too hard to say until the movie comes out or a trailer reveals it.

Oh, thanks! I actually had my Strange arms on that first torso just previous to reassembling Strange. It looks good on him--gives him some color and the weird middle part is covered by the medallion.

Yeah, I really dunno what else to give him. He has the arms off the CMF sea captain dude (with the seagull) to try to make up for it. Hopefully we don't have to worry about customing him much longer, anyways.

So the lighting's crappy, but I snapped a shot of my new Dormammu with Doctor Strange. I picked up the CMF wizard and decided to put the cape to use. (The top part of the Wizard's cape is on the back of Dormammu's, for a bit of extra flame--it just felt too big for Dormammu.)

With the discussion of Cap's hair... While I agree tan is the best (or dark tan)... Am I the only one who feels like Hawkeye's hair shouldn't be strait brown? I feel like it should be slightly lighter/with a hint of ginger. That said, I get using StarLord's hair for Cap, as in some pictures it does look a bit red.

What's that from? I actually made a plainclothes Cap with the other jacket recently, I might snag a pic in a second for those who'd like to see it both ways. Edit: here we are... Unfortunately I can't get the url to embed since I'm on my iPad, but....

In regards to the quinjets, at least the play feature for the 2015 one is actually in the movie. I found the drone to be kindof useless. But hey, that's why we're Lego fans! MODing and MOCing to the rescue! That said, I have yet to get either the Milano or the new quinjet. Not that I don't want them.

That's not true. While I would love more female faces, it makes perfect sense that they would share a face for two characters with red-eye related powers. Even for other figures, it makes sense to not make dozens of female faces, because the female face simply has less variety. That girls don't have facial hair is the big one, but even then, there's only so much variation among girls' eyebrows and lips. While more exp<b></b>ressions would certainly be nice, there's not nearly as much reason for Lego to spend money on new female prints as there is for new male prints. *shrug* As was pointed out, when they already have a face that is "good enough" for a male character, they reuse it.

Just a suggestion as to the color of the stone on the Vision 'fig: perhaps at some point he is affected by Loki's staff and thus the gem is blue, rather than it actually being a piece of the infinity stone.

Not to drag on your arguement, but I feel like it's safe to say that seeing as we're on a discussion forum, people making qualifying remarks about a set that's already out--such as the quality of a build or pricing--is perfectly acceptable and they should not need to clarify that it is their opinion. Even if there were some way to definitively say it's overpriced, such as price/piece, some people would still disagree because they want Quicksilver and the Baron and the tank thing. It's an opinion and it's not like anyone was giving their "opinion" about a rumor as fact and thus actually misleading anyone. It really doesn't hurt you to hear a set is overpriced even if you disagree. Comprende? Regardless, can someone clarify what the video is about? I can't watch it at the moment and if it's not for the video game, what is it for? A movie? TV show?

Wait, am I the only one who thinks Black Widow's new hairpiece looks crappy? o.O I intend to just give her Boromir's like I did with the 'fig from the first wave...

So does Winter Soldier have arm printing...? Only picture I could find showed him from the other side, but I couldn't make out the edges of any... :/

Anyone know if the Shield Agent in the Carnage set has arm printing like Hill's? I have yet to see a picture of him outside of the jet. Speaking of which, the jet thing is considerably larger than I thought.

I just wish they'd release that hair in tan again, as opposed to Dark Tan everywhere.... Regardless, I kindof get why they used the nougat or whatever color from Starlord. Several custom Caps I've seen used Dark Orange hairpieces, and if you look he really does have slightly ginger hair. Mostly blond, for sure, but there is some darker color.

It's supposed to be this thread minus the 2015 limitation, beacause the Marvel thread has had issues staying on topic. If this goes on much longer a mod'll probably stop in to get it back on track, so don't worry about it and back to your usual broadcasting.

The issue at this point isn't entirely that the movie discussion doesn't impact Lego, so much as the fact that the discussion isn't based on 2015. As much as I agree with you that that makes this thread pointless 90% of the time, it appears the rules will stay such. And I'm sorry, Peppermint M, but I fail to see how what's on or off topic has been discussed. Half the people talking about Spidey have done so with full realization that it's not technically on topic, I was only informing the others. Call it what you will, but mods can only be around so much. I don't see it as mini modding to gently remind people of rules--It's not like I was telling people what to do.
