I was gunna say, what about UCS R2-D2? A Hulkbuster model like that...? Or as somebody else suggested, Galactus... Though I think they'd be more likely to make a robot, he'd be cool too.

Hey, some of us can't afford the shiny new sets... I just finally picked up last years! That and the fact that we're supposed to be getting Deathstroke? ...Patience is hard :P

Considering Super Heroes is now Evergreen, and with the release of Marvel's first UCS set... I thought maybe some others might like to discuss what ships/buildings we're likely to get as UCS sets in Marvel's future. (Sorry, DC. You've had enough exclusive sets already for me to care about that here.) My first thought was actually the Milano. I feel like it compares to the Slave I, and it'll be in at least one more Marvel movie in a couple of years. Sure the one we already got can fit the whole team... But a UCS one could give them some space to breathe, maybe- even fit a big-ish Groot. (I wouldn't argue if such a set came with a Maxi-fig version of some sort. -Though if that's already a specific type of Lego character I'm not referring to such. Just a slightly bigger 'fig than the mini- ones :P ) Other possibilities would indeed include the Avengers Mansion and X-Mansion both of which I believe have fairly successful Ideas projects at this point. Another would be a UCS Avengers tower, maybe even a Daily Bugle, or... Y'know... Whatever you think we might get! Oh, and if we could avoid from making this just a wishlist... Please take the time to at least give one or two reasons why you think Lego might make it into a set. Aside from that, feel free to speculate what 'figs and whatnot would be included :)

Odds are we'll get at least a control room and small lab. Yes the SSD sets have never had much, but their shape is awkwardly pyramid-ical as well, which takes out a massive chunk of the set where they could include 'figs otherwise. Plus they've never made a $300+ SSD, have we? I could be wrong, that just seems way too much to pay for a solid grey ship with no play features :P Just had a thought... Eventually we could see, say, a UCS Milano, couldn't we? :D Like, I feel that's pretty comparable to the Slave I, and if the ship shows up after GotG 2 in any of the other movies... *Shrug* Sorry, that was getting off-topic. I might start a thread about that, though <_< -If you want to discuss this, don't do it here and clog this thread. I went ahead and made one. -
On the one hand, if Harbor is in the name (suggesting we'll get at the least a dock) we could get any land Hero... But on the other, we could always get Aqualad. I wouldn't argue. I also wouldn't argue with a Blue Nightwing, as his torso alone is going for upwards of $30 in at least one BL store :P I doubt the Batboat will be all that big, unless it's the double-cockpit one that I saw somebody built (Idk if it was based on the comics at all), but that would give room for Robin or Nightwing to ride with Bats. Anybody else hoping we'll start to get more sidekicks in general? Speedy and Arsenal haven't been too hard to purist custom, but I'll never argue with getting an official version of a 'fig instead. If I like an aspect of mine better I can always keep it, but official versions are likely to at least have a better torso and/or face print specific to said character.

Sounds like we will get Gobby this summer after all...? -
It would make sense as to the yellow hair people were speculating on before.

Wait, did we see the Winter Soldier polybag yet? I just googled it and a legit-looking picture came up... http://www.thebrickfan.com/first-images-of-lego-marvel-super-heroes-winter-soldier-polybag/ Might have to get an extra for that mask, depending on how he comes out. -

People in the DC thread have said that the capes are better in person, fyi... -
Is there a reason we can't have one specifically for Super Heroes? Personally I don't much care if somebody got Technic... As for me, I only got a couple smaller sets, but with some Christmas money I finally got the Joker's Steamroller and Man-Bat sets, so I now have the Bat-Family! (I know there are two other Robins, but eh.) I actually took the legs from the fig in the Tie Interceptor Chibi set and put them on Robin, along with red arms, black hands, and a black Batman cape over the short yellow cape to turn Damian into Tim Drake. Plus I replaced his staff with a 6L piece of tubing, so there's no bump like on the stick. Now I just have to wait for my Amazon order of the Sith Troopers vs Republic Troopers (and I need to make a couple of BL orders) so I can make Speedy and Arsenal to go along with my custom Green Arrow. :3

That can fly... -
If you're talking Squirrel Girl, people've made her using the Chima fox's tail I believe. I guess it's brown enough, though I dunno what specific color it is.
-
For those hoping for more than 3 sets this summer, that's the same number reported so far for Marvel, too. Not that I'd mind more, but don't count on it. Plus that way maybe more people can afford to get half the sets :P
-
Or, you know, because there's a solid majority of people that want more than just Batman..?

That piece would be okay, actually. I've been trying to think of what they might do, and I think I like that better than anything I've come up with. -

I don't know if we will, but we definitely could. if Peter's in the Iron Spider suit, then like you said we could get Miles (which I'm all for). Or there is the possibility that we could get that other kid in the Iron Spider suit. Then again, Parker doesn't wear any other suits in USM... So Idk. -

First off, for the few of you who were confused... We are getting movie Antman set(s). That was never the question, only if we'd get any Antman at all. Now that that's said... Sandman and Rhino are perfectly good villains. Both are among Spidey's classic rogues. So, sorry not sorry, but they should make an awesome set. On the other hand, odds aren't great for us getting anything other than a vehicle. Maybe it could at least be an armored truck or something, rather than another made up vehicle for Spidey. Or a construction vehicle? I'd love a backhoe with a front scoop and/or a dump truck, to go along with sandman XD -

That makes a difference. Much more likely to get classic Rhino in a set with Sandman and maybe Gobby. If that's the case then we could just be looking at one set for Spidey that wave again. And it would make more sense to include White Tiger. (Although, if I'm honest, I could go for a $10-20 set with her and Kraven and a Spidey variant.) -
While I agree it'll prolly be Croc in the water chase, am I in the minority when I say I don't actually want him as a bigfig? Maybe a mid-sized character like several of the TMNT guys, but... Idk. Also maybe we could get an Aqualad? It's a stretch considering he's not in the set that has his father and king, but... Hey, we can hope. (Though he's easily purist-ed, I don't have a good torso) Regardless, I'm most excited by the Teen Titans. Deathstroke was bound to be made, but he's still awesome, and I've always loved Beast Boy. So long as they're not Clone Wars-ified they should be awesome. Couple things though- -Would they make a TT Robin and Cyborg ever? Maybe there's another TT set coming (this summer or later) with them and Raven? I'm just not sure how similar those two are in TT to their current Lego versions. -I've not seen any TT with Deathstroke in them... Is he probably going to be black and orange? I might be wrong but I thought I'd seen some versions that were more red or yellow instead.

Yeah, the last few years the winners on day 24 have also gotten a bigfig or something. I think he's also had 2 winners per category on the 24 before. *shrug* Even if I didn't win, I might be able to mooch a fig or two off my friend that won, and he and I will definitely put at least one of his 'figs to use :) -
Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion

Iron Spider??? For real? :D I was gunna suggest that we'll likely get three Ant-Man sets along with a Spidey set- Just like we got three sets for the previously-unpopular GotG alogn with an Xmen. But this... this sounds like it's gotta be at least 2 spidey-sets, if we're getting Sandman, Goblin and Rhino.... But maybe classic Goblin is sitting out this wave still? Iron Spider would suggest USM, as that's where the suit gained popularity among kids, but Goblin would be classic and brick-built Rhino would suggest ASM... It seems likely that we'll be getting -1-2 Antman sets (GotG had 3 sets, but there were also five main heroes... They could fit Ant-Man, YellowJacket and Wasp into one set if they wanted to.) -$10 ASM set with Spidey vs. Rhino (Which would cover the "other Spidey variant" rumor) -$20-50 set: USM: Iron-Spider, White Tiger, and Sandman (Iron-Spider rumor, complete the team, and Sandman rumor) OR Comic: Iron Spider, Sandman, Green Goblin Of course, this being pure speculation, the unknown Spidey variant could be against Sandman and the Iron Spider could be up against Rhino (machine vs machine). If that's the case I'd guess both sets would be comic-based, and one could easily have Goblin. Anyone else rooting for a Miles Morales 'fig if we don't get ASM Spidey? Does anyone know of a mechanical version of Rhino aside from the ASM one? -

Not quite what I meant... That topic has more capability to get spammed, e.g. "Anything Green Lantern!" being the entirety of a post. I mean a topic like this but unrestricted to 2015... I don't want to drag this on here, sorry. CM can either reply here or PM me or start a topic or whatever he decides. I was just posing it as a suggestion to help those bothered by our discussion without us losing the good thing that we have here. -
Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion
JaseTJ replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
Would it be a horrible thing to have topics for Marvel/DC 2016-and-Beyond discussion...? Because I'm obviously not the only one who would enjoy being able to discuss the future of the films and how they pertain to Legos beyond Age of Ultron and Ant-Man. This thread would be a loooot less active if CM got stricter about us talking on stuff like that. So I guess the question is, for those of you who want to keep it to 2015, are you going to have anything left to talk about? Aside from pure speculation, I mean. Because I'm perfectly okay with taking this discussion elsewhere. (I know CM's said before there's a thread to discuss the movies, but I mean as regarding Legos specifically still.) -
Wait, what? Dude, you realize Megablocks is practically a swearword on most Lego forums...? Like, seriously, many people, myself included, refuse to use them because they're of inferior quality. Regardless of what they might "contribute."
