  1. If we do get any, though, it would only be from an important scene. I feel like Cap and Iron Man scrapping could be an important enough scene to give us some good Battle-Damaged 'figs, especially since both characters will undoubtedly be in two sets each. I mean, they are protagonist and antagonist, really.
  2. Dang, I love the Superior Spidey, Agent Venom, and X-Men! While I go fleshy, I'll definitely try to get a hold of two Carnage sets instead of one for a Superior (though I'll probably do different arms. I don't tend to be a fan of such unstable connections) and see if I can't get an extra venom head off BL or something. (Again, there are some things I'd do differently, but that's not to say yours is bad at all. Personally I'm not a huge fan of using the spider piece as it sticks out so much.)
  3. Just curious, to those of you who have/do collect them pretty seriously... Do you ever search for individual parts? Or do those end up being just as expensive? I by no means care to collect all of the older figures at this point, but I missed out on Deadpool as well, but I haven't gotten him yet still :/ I literally was at a store, looking at the set, and a week later when I went back to buy it, it was gone forever...
  4. Sully would do fine as a Minifigure anyways. He's of comparable size to the Yeti or Bigfoot, both of whom we've received minifigs of now.
  5. Yeaaaaah I have no clue what you're talking about.
  6. Best current purist face, though, for sure, and even the torso is about perfect. I'd switch out the hair for the grey Mutt's hair, personally.
  7. I would think if they did anything like that it'd just be half of each wave is heroes and the other half is villains. Maybe even in pairs, like 8 different movies' heroes and villains.
  8. But one could infer from the fact that we're getting two and one is DC and the other isn't, that the second one would be... :P It would be nice, though, to break the streak of only one D2C DC set every other year, and now with the Hellicarrier a Marvel one on DC's off-year... Marvel and DC D2C's every year? (Then again... For our wallets' sakes...)
  9. They put out a boycott on making at least XMen stuff, if not FF as well. Honestly, though, I think it would be hilarious if Lego put out a Fantastic Four set (based on the comic versions obviously) just because the movie flopped so badly.
  10. That's the one I meant, yeah. Sorry, I don't keep up too much with no-name Star Wars 'figs, especially when I get them via the EB Advent Calendar.
  11. If you don't mind a touch of gold, there's that one green female Jedi's torso. It's feminine, obviously, but would probably match Stormtrooper/Clone torsos fairly well.
  12. I know she was "in" the movie, but less than a minute of actual somebody-in-a-Wasp-suit footage, and even that being a flashback? Nah. And I realize the same is true of Hank, but his character was central to the rest of the movie, and this way we get to have Antman's original character (Hank) on top of the MCU one (Scott).
  13. To be fair, it would have been pointless to include two identical suits and there was no other good third minifigure, really, as anyone else would have detracted from the play value. I'm okay with getting an extra, different Ant-Man, for sure... Haven't picked up the set yet anyways, but I'm definitely going to.
  14. Maybe Lego wants to rectify our Groot dilemma earlier than GotG2...
  15. I meant to apologize--these were taken on my phone, as I don't currently have a camera, and my studio is overrun by a bigger project... Regardless, Firefly has a pretty standard Tie Pilot (I believe) torso, and I used Zod's legs to give him a bit of extra detail there as well. The wings are connected via one of these.
  16. I haven't done too much in the way of custom superhero 'figs lately, but I did finally build a Firefly, which I've been intending to do ever since I got Zod... Also I'll throw in a picture of my jean Grey and Cyclops (plainclothes) since they're both newer. Jean's coat is made from a sort of skirt piece that came on a pair of clones in a random battle pack I picked up, which is also the main reason she's wearing that torso. I do have a Hawkeye face on Scott normally, but I like how well a Superman face works for when his glasses come off.
  17. Wait, what's with this Centurian fig? He's not exclusive is he, because it's so beautiful...
  18. So I'm watching the first Keaton Batman with my girlfriend, and I got to thinking about Joker hairpieces. The slicked-back wavyish hair (can't think of any other 'figs with it offhand) is generally the best hair for Joker, right? But if we ever got the new Doctor (Who)'s hair in green... Arkham Joker, anyone? It would really work for any, but Arkham especially, IMO.
  19. The Barista's hair would only work if it went the other way. Anikin's hair piece works fine, really. If they were going to use anything else I'd say just make a new mold entirely. Lockhart's is too curly, Supes's has the curl which Matt Smith does not, and the CMF mechanic's hair, which came to my mind as I looked at Smith's pictures just now, would be too tall.
  20. I'm... cautiously interested. Really, I'm guessing Lego got a really good licensing deal out of it, considering Angry Birds' popularity has died down. Rovio wants to make them popular again, so they pay Lego a lot of money and they get into one of the largest, most successful toy markets. It all comes down to how decent the movie is, how compatible the Legos are with normal sets, and what kind of play features are included. Considering it's with the movie, they'll probably be playsets, but I'd hope we can get at least one set made to catapult birds at a structure.
  21. If they did Inside Out, I doubt any would be non-minifigs. New head molds for Anger and Fear, maybe, but Anger could just use short legs and Fear would be fine. They've used the same minifigs for fat and skinny characters for how long now? Regardless, I would think such a CMF theme would be focused on Pixar. I could see them doing a Disney Princess set as well, but I don't think they'd probably mix the two into one series. Plus, if they did a Princess series, I have a feeling they'd go with Minidolls, so they'd fit in with the sets. But hey, I'm not gunna complain either way. More Disney characters! :D
  22. Wheeeeew. (Category B) It's half past 12 AM here, but I know it's still July 1st for half the US. Glad I managed to at least get something in. Thanks so much for running this contest, MKJoshA!
  23. Count Dooku watches on as his new friend--"Doctor Octopus"--forces Obi-Wan Kenobi to surrender in less than a minute. (AKA how General Grievous could have done better.) "I can't imagine what would have happened if I'd gone through with that asthmatic android!" Aaand with a better view, but a worse picture:
  24. There's at least one Male face with glasses in the Big Bang Theory set coming out. No clue how much like Wells it looks offhand, but...
