I work late, but maybe afterwards... Something of interest I noticed, though: Supes' legs are ever so slightly darker than the normal dark blue. It looks fine with other dark blue, but I noticed it, anyways *shrug*

So I took Supes' dual-molded legs... And put them on my Spidey from Spiderman 2. I swapped out the hip piece to keep the web printing and a bit more red, but as I would already consider that 'fig the best Spiderman we currently have... It's amazing win the boots. I'll try to snag a pic later, assuming nobody else has already done this.

I would have thought Katana was more 50/50 (she's part of the suicide squad, after all), and Red Hood was more 75/25 :P But yeah, definitely not hero-less without Bats.

I'm preeeetty sure Sony has never had any merchandising rights for Spidey, just the films. Either way, it makes perfect sense to have not seen any Spidey yet in Civil War stuff. It's a marketing strategy to bring extra hype to the movie. -

Because a year ago when the Sandman set was in planning stages Sony's Spiderman franchise was still going places? And now it's not. So... The odds of Goblin being Harry from ASM2 are slim at best. And I would hope Lego would be smarter than to keep going with that franchise. -
A variant like the BvS dream would be pretty legit. That thing looks cool, even if it is a dream. Either way, I'm guessing it'll include one of those new rebreather pieces used in this last Marvel wave. (Did that piece originate in Star Wars? Because it's basically a rebreather :P)

Toa, what about the titular character in the Doctor Strange set? -
I suppose I could see Lego doing that... But hopefully not.

Also, boomerangs? I know people have used cow horns but I don't see Lego putting those in a set like that. Are we getting a new mold?

For those wondering about heroes in the Croc set... Red Hood is a(n anti) hero sometimes, no? Katana as well?

Marvel Superheroes 2016 Rumors And Discussion

What color is the bridge? Don't get me wrong, I'm as excited to hear about the 'figs as everyone else. Just wondering what color parts-pack to expect. :P Edit: I would expect the hood down piece like Green Arrow had..? I don't know the character as well, but that's what I consider Wildstyle's hood to be. (I realize the up piece is her as well but it makes less sense here IMO) -

Not bad... Unfortunately your signature is all too true :P Nearly $200 for the Marvel summer wave alone, and another $200 for the DC one... Not to mention, what, another $150-200 for the Civil War Sets? And I've already started getting the BvS... Ugh. Why, Lego? Stop being so good to us all of a sudden! :P -
Marvel Superheroes 2016 Rumors And Discussion
JaseTJ replied to Quicksilver's topic in LEGO Licensed
Yup. Much better picture than the one I'd seen (blurry, from behind). Looks like a good figure, I hope the rest of the set is worth it's price point! (Do we have prices for this summer wave? I know the 2 DC sets coming out are both rather expensive, with no smaller end of the wave from the sound of things...) -
Ooooh that makes sense. I haven't got an XBone yet, so I haven't gotten to play Arkham Knight. Looks like a good representation of him from what I remember from the trailers though. @Hulk_Smash, I don't mean to say the colors don't work well together. I just thought that there might not be a good balance of the colors. The Cyberman is the lighter silver, no? And War Machine's helmet is primarily dark bley. I just wanted to know if so much of a different color on top stood out, and figured swapping the arms out might help if so. Based on the pic from Deadman that Legocity posted, though, it does look fine, so it's a moot point.

Marvel Superheroes 2016 Rumors And Discussion
JaseTJ replied to Quicksilver's topic in LEGO Licensed
There was plenty of speculation on the matter, I just meant to confirm it. If the picture of White Tiger from the video game has been around/mentioned on here, then I missed it. -
Erm... Batman Beyond? You didn't say who it was... >_>
-
I feel like dark bley arms and maybe hips might help it along... From that view it looks great, but from the side of the helmet is the dark bley a bit out of place on the helmet but nowhere else?

Marvel Superheroes 2016 Rumors And Discussion
JaseTJ replied to Quicksilver's topic in LEGO Licensed
Not that we didn't all see this coming, but I was looking through the Lego Avengers game's characters on some wiki... Scroll down to White Tiger Black Panther headpiece and that new ponytail from the Djinn guy/knight Macy. Even if Amazingbricks hadn't confirmed her, I'd say this would be about enough proof on it's own. (That they used existing pieces in a game rather than just making the character with new virtual molds) -
Cap has the nougat(?) Supes' hair in one of the Civil War sets. I believe they're due out in March, but I could be wrong. Unless you mean the old Supes' hair... Because I'm not seeing the new one on here. I'm not sure where the dark orange-ish one is from.

I can't say I have a proper picture of my whole collection all together but I've counted somewhere around I think 80 Marvel and DC characters? That's not to include my eleven unnamed League assassins, nor the plethora of Bat- and Iron- Man suits I have. On top of that, as well as the new sets that are coming out with even more characters, I'm planning on putting together a dozen or so SHIELD spec ops, and probably a similar number of generic agents. I suppose I might have to assemble a mini army of Hydra dudes to line up opposite them... Looking forward to seeing what people have got, though!

I realize this is probably aimed less at Superheroes as we have a thread just for those, but I figured I'd post it here as well, in case any of you are fans of Arrow. Arsenal I've had for a while, Green Arrow is just tweaked slightly from Lego's version, and my personal favorite: Malcom Merlyn.

Oh. In that case, maybe I'll Bricklink one. I've seen them before for not too much. And I even have a CMF spear or two. As for my SHIELD Spec Ops guy, I'm really pleased with that ACU torso. I'd grabbed a couple pairs of the legs from BL, and when I saw that the torso was plain camo-ish Dark Blue I just had to pick up a JW set to test it out. You can be sure I'll be ordering some more of those pieces to make a squad or two.
