Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion

For the time being they're "miracles." Survivors of Hydra's tinkering with Loki's staff, it would seem. Though idk how the mind gem would bring out powers in people.... Either way the staff and gem are important to AoU, considering they put a blue gem on the staff instead of the spike piece. -

If the Hellicarrier is The Winter Soldier version it will have Bucky in it. And the glimpse of the tip of it from that design video showed guns from Cap 2, no? I doubt Bucky would be a poly bag if that's the case. -

But there are still rumors of Sony and Marvel discussing Spidey. If Marvel does get the rights somehow, odds are they'll cast a new actor, but even if they keep Garfield I doubt they'd be too strict about keeping to ASM. We really don't know enough for sure about Civil War to say, plus that's not 'til 2016 anyways. -
Pretty sure $25-35 and $20, respectively. As for Darkseid, bigfigs tend to cost at least $8-9, but since he's in a bigger set I'm assuming some people will charge plenty more, like around $25 average.

I meant that Jeremy Renner's hair in the movies looks too light to use a reddish-brown hairpiece. His hair is brown, but it's shorter/thinner, so you can see through it more and it looks lighter-colored. Personally I have a burnt-orange hairpiece on him. -

So am I the only one who doesn't like that hair for Hawkeye..? I mean, it's better than the one in the first wave... But personally I find brown to be too dark. His hair is brownish, but it's short enough that it looks lighter. -

Waaaait a second... Are Hulk's legs... straight...? Like, in line with each other? :D Oh, and I'm pretty sure the thing Hulk is in is some sort of mobile prison. Trap Hulk's legs in there so he can't get in the way while Iron Man fights Utron, seems to be the idea for the set, anyways. Who knows if that'll be in the movie at all. -

These are basically all must-buys... I could live without the Off-Roader set and the Hydra fortress so long as I picked up Hawkeye, Quicksilver, and some Hydra dudes, but I'll probably just get the sets anyways. As for the rest? The smallest, if I can manage to, I'll probably pick up three, maybe four. That could get expensive fast, but for three drones and some extra Iron Man armor pieces that I can switch out with others to make more variants...? Yeah. Hulkbuster is just a straight up must. Have. The new Hulk looks promising, I want Scarlet Witch, and they sure didn't skimp on that 'buster :3 Quinjet is necessary for the jet itself, considering how important it seems, but also the 'figs... Especially Vision (Though his head seems a bit too pink... We'll see.) Aaand the Tower. I'm extremely impressed, but I'd still like to get two just to make it taller and a bit bigger. GG with what pieces you had, though, Lego. Also dang you, because if you're giving us all this and a $300+ Hellicarrier, I won't be able to afford half of what I want... :P -
Was that Emissary based on Varrick? Haha, 'cause that's a great face/hair combo for him :P Got some good 'figs overall, regardless :)

Looks like they might go in these: http://h5.m.taobao.com/awp/core/detail.htm?spm=0.0.0.0&id=40582520140 -
The question is, is this going to be the norm for all capes from now on? Or just for 'figs in sets with vehicles? Personally I hope it's not an across-the-board change, because while some variety is welcome, I don't see flimsy soft capes being as pose-able.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if that's the case. I also wouldn't be surprised if they made one of the earlier Ultron models on it too, though. -
You have to consider the other heroes' rogues as well, guys... I mean personally I don't know many DC villains aside from Bats and Flash's, but I would assume there are some specific villains for Martian Manhunter, Hawkman...? We did get a GL at least, but we could get Deathstroke or Deadshot for GA. Or a WW villain. Or I'd be perfectly okay with a League of Assassins set. Ra's is a pretty big villain for most of the league, no? Granted he's also one of the easier to custom...
-
For the two or three of you that said you liked my League (p. 63), and anyone else interested... I've just spent the last couple hours putting together what's looking like it'll be three Bricklink orders to get enough Dastan torsos and ninja hoods for a decent-sized MOC :) Keep an eye on the Licensed board towards the end of December ;) EDIT: Come to think of it, I might not be able to finish the MOC until I can get Green Arrow, and that could be a long while... I like my version fine, but I need the Lone Ranger's head for Arsenal (whom I'll post here when my orders go through).
-
So I just noticed that on Green Lantern's plane and Black Manta's sub there's a new piece... Like those stud-shooting guns, except in a brick form, it looks like. Not sure what I think of them, but I'm sure they could be useful for something or other. Oh, and on the arm of the BatMech. And now that I go back I see that is in Just2Good's review. Just didn't see any comments about them and I must have skipped over that couple seconds trying to get to other stuff in the review.
-
Dang! I really want to make that Black Panther and Atom, now, especially after the mid-season finale of Arrow. Too bad I'm lacking most of the pieces... Seriously cool 'figs though. I've not seen/read/researched Watchmen, so I can't really offer an opinion on them, but the second one has some nice browns mixed there.

Am I the only one that finds Snart's face to be a bit over-wrinkly? :/
-
I was gunna say, Supernatural's a bit different... Aside from that episode, the show is generally willing to make fun of itself. Not that Big Bang Theory couldn't do that, but I don't think it's as likely. Just a thought: Jim Parsons is absolutely going to love having his own Minifig. I guarantee it.

To be fair he's the only one that has real variants (excluding everyone in plainclothes). I'm perfectly okay with getting a Hall of Armor. -
So I was messing around with this armor... I put it on an old Geonosian torso and was looking for my dark grey Chitauri for his legs... but while I was rummaging through my Super-Hero 'figs, I noticed that the Bats 'fig from the Bane's Tumbler set had a nicely matching torso. Thus, behold: Armored Batman! (Sorry if you can't tell, but the bronze is the same on the shoulders and belt) I chose the Aqua-Bats face mostly for the eyes, but the mouthpiece could easily enough just be a gas-mask-esque thing. And some layered cape, which is one of my favorite things to do :3
-
Unless it's a spoof episode specifically highlighting the set- maybe in a dream, or their imagination- no, it wouldn't exist. They'd have to break the fourth wall and admit that they're in a TV show otherwise.

What Will The 2016 Deadpool Movie Bring To LEGO?
JaseTJ replied to CrazyDalton777's topic in LEGO Licensed
He's not the first. Ben Affleck played Daredevil and now he's Bats. (Not that I ever saw Daredevil) But yeah, we're not getting any sets for this directly. Aside from the licensing issues, it's gunna be rated R at best. I do, however, really hope he gets put in a set as a tie-in, as I missed out on him by two weeks the first time 'round. His aftermarket prices are really high, too :/
