  1. sorry i have no micromotor i think my logging crane for the 9397 is ready. hopefully it fits. only one thing is bothering me: could the 5 to 11 frame not be yellow?
  2. ok, the next crane is for the 9397 logging truck. i hope the dimension fits, because i have to wait till march to try it at the truck. the step for today is the column. i give it a little bit less fat looking next step is a mainboom with a full size LA as replacement of the mini LA. I want fold the crane above the Cab. picture source
  3. brickshelf is working at this time.
  4. absolute eycandy btw, the airsuspension is working?
  5. the borders in orange should be possible and looking good, but the surface of the flatbed should be black or grey. and there is a other reason for say no to orange: i think not that i can get all the parts for the cab in orange and a pizza colored truck in model team style is not an option.
  6. behind "Flatbed Trailer" i have expected something different. Your type of trailer i would describe as a Gooseneck lowloader. does it have a detachable gooseneck?
  7. hmm, this suspension shouts Hummer H1 but there is a little wobbly problem: There is much play in the ball. Not good for RC in this condition
  8. thank you very much for the info orange?
  9. The vid with the finished tow truck you have seen?
  10. the 8109 version should be more stable. The method on the picture gives more posibilitys to adjust the flatbed, but it is more complex to build. the best will be that i try both possibilitys to find the best version.
  11. currently im not sure if i use simply the same mechanism like 8109 or if i use something like this Abschleppwagen ... von bayernernst auf Flickr btw i have found a sweet thing during the search for the pic above. Scania 500 Truck - Abschleppwagen von LKW-Fotos auf Flickr
  12. currently the flatbed is roundabout five panels plus 6 studs wide and 7 panels and 2 studs long. more doesnt fit in my photobox 1 or 2 rows of panels it should be longer to fit to my goal knew someone the price for black 5x11 panels @ lego direct? i think in black the flatbed would look better
  13. The pins will locked. the slits are only moved from the side to the bottom
  14. full agree. i have 13 battery boxes , 20 Ms and 3 XL. there is definetly no need to motorize each model with it. but i cant wait for the new motors, in special the servos.
  15. currently not. models which can only drive and steer are currently to boring for me. maybe later as the base for a 9395 XL. the hauler experiment is interesting because it is in fact to small to get allwheel drive and make it full RC. Paul Boratko, which size should have the picture? something like this? edit:
  16. kristl you are right 100 points for the candidate i think he meant my big one
  17. Robert M, yes it will be big. i hope i have enough 5x11 panels for the flatbed. dont worry , the 8109 xl will go on, but in between a little finger exercise. The attentive reader of this forum will know whats the goal.
  18. not much room is only a bigger challenge. i think fully RC with all wheel drive should be possible.
  19. imagine a empty flatbed without height regulation. it is on ride height. then imagine the same flatbed with load. the cops will stop you and give you a ticket because overloading now imagine a flatbed with load sensed height regulation. maybe its, overloaded, but the cops cant see it and have no reason to stop you. on the moc the reason is: it is possible
