  1. i dont like tires like these edit: it seems that the gmk 6400 uppercarriage would fit
  2. This should be no problem, but actually i have only the weekends for lego, so this will take some time.
  3. A ltf crane is a really good option, thanks for this idea. Zblj, leafsprings on the back? The suspension on the back is actually really stiff.
  4. Thanks, but first i have to decide which payload it will have.
  5. Hi Mahjqa, seems to be the perfect hull for my voight schneider propellors. do you know how much weight the hull can handle?
  6. 19 studs. this is my standard width for the 62.4x20 tires
  7. The steering system is finally finished The Fake engine is placed, in relation to the cab, one stud lower and two studs more in front. the wheel arch is a little bit shorter
  8. Yes, the ldd instruction mode is rubbish for complex models. so i make my instructions step by step. mostly i use screenshots, but at the grove uppercarriage i have made a file for every step. When there is a file without instruction you have to disassemble the model part by part to see how it s build.
  9. this i can first know when it is finished
  10. i have to buy the parts too, and my intention to build not a 8x8 has the reason that i have actually not the money to buy the front axles. you have a chassis, you can make pictures. dafgek it will give a complete new chassis. so no compatible instructions
  11. actually i dont have the intention to build a 8x8. btw pictures please
  12. This is for the Arocs, but in this early build i want post it here. The suspension is harder than on the 42043, but with the axle loadsensing the offroadcapabilitys should be a little bit better.
  13. victor, this does not increase the torque
  14. well, the movingrange of the main and second boom is improved and the column is 3 studs lower btw some mudguard modifications
  15. i have them, and they have the right size, but on the place where iam be i had not the right and enough parts to integrate them
  16. this is really the first contestant which can transform in something completly different. my favourite
  17. two mods, one for playability, one for stability. The stability mod is for the stabilizers. it chanches a blue 2L crossaxle pin into an dark grey 3L crossaxlepin and moves a 4L liftarm. This should increase the stability of the wormgear mechanism. http://www.doktor-brick.de/index.php/Attachment/5639-stabilizer-stability-mod-lxf/ stabilizer stability mod by Michael Wirth, auf Flickr The second mod is moving the pneumatic valves behind the batterybox to have all crane controls at one place. Unfortunately this makes it necessary to move the crane two studs back to avoid a collision between valves and crane column http://www.doktor-brick.de/index.php/Attachment/5640-controlmod-lxf/
  18. Yeah, this would be nearly the optimum, but unfortunately a set of 4 fenders will cost 50 euros. So i have to wait for this. a automatic tailgate lock edit: lxf file arocs modified tipperbed by Michael Wirth, auf Flickr
  19. Tlg has the suspension arms at a different location which makes this necessary. I think the tail of your version looks to much like an M.A.N
