Thanks guys Kiwi, it is simply off the ground because to less weight on the chassis, with the crane on the back it should have a good ground contact. Drivetrain and gearreduction for the rearaxle steering Gearbox for stabilizers- 228 replies

Not sure, the second servo is actually a shortcut to test the turning circle. And a driving test some minutes ago shows that this was a good idea. The turning circle is good, but the traction isreally bad, so i need suspension to hold all driven tires on ground- 228 replies

Effe's MOC Corner
efferman replied to efferman's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Hi Ingmar. the "new" steering concept is near real truck steering systems and i have used them long ago on a not finished moc. Now i use it with a printed part which gives me the possibility of ackermann and a pivot point inside of the wheel. I know that it is possible with pure lego, but with the printed part it is more solid. I use this steering system because it gives more room inside of the frame of the hooded Arocs. to polish the fenders has to be very carefully because the black colour is only a coating which gos not really deep.
