Another Guerilla attack for the Kaliphlim challenge, I took this opportunity to build something non-violent. Which is basically what those `guerilla` are all about after all... The sun pounded down on Ahmed`s shoulders, as he traversed the long desert trail. Ruined hieroglyph`s lined the path, and the roadsign was so bleached he had no exact idea how far it was to it`s destination. But the Desert King needed more mounts to battle the opposing forces, who refuse his rightful claim to the lands. After all, he IS the land. Ahmed smiled at that idea. When all usurpers to the reightful heir would be defeated, he might even become the Camel Master of the New Kingdom. This is a build in which I really wanted to include the Lego camel figures, which I obtained recently through a local Facebook group. It also gave me a chance to do something with my Pharaoh`s Quest and Prince of Persia elements from the recent years. And it is a welcome change from building military orientated creations all the time ;-)

At beginning, I thought this whole challenge looked like the Games Workshop world campaigns of old. Now it even has the balance discussions going with them ;-) It's a great thingie to play out, awesomejob. I personally picked DK because I wanted to do 'something' with my mummy minifigs, the fact we are currently crushing, well, because the ACTIVE number is bigger at the moment. But I just wonder what will happen should say in two weeks all the inactives in the other sides 'wake up' and the gap would become to big then again for another side... with less time left to rectify it. But in the end, personally I don't care at all wether I'm in the winning or losing camp, I just want to have fun building a bit in the limited time I have. Now, make a new warzone one of the weeks with some smaller sizes again ;-)

Let me get out of this hot melting pot of battles then, and toss it to K19 then, that is like at the edge of the world and currently warzone free hehe

Now, this might sounds a bit an odd question, but H12 was the grid I actually selected for my guerilla action a few days ago... so what happens to it now then?

My Store phase 3 for the Age of Mitgardia build, this one continues the tale that started with a small river merchant, then a shopping stall and now his actual store. "This is bad", Ruprecht wailed. "This is soooo bad. if this keeps up, I`ll be ruined by the end of the year". Carlina looked at him quizically. Lately, her husband has been receiving shipment after shipment of what was once his most priced merchandise: Ice Diamonds, a rare sort of light blueish, glowing gemstones that where found in the high north. She didn`t knew much about geology, but the things she did pick up left or right where that these stones are formed in the crusts of the enternal glaciers. Goblins mine them, at the risk of their lives facing the harsh cold, and sell them to Ruprecht at premium charge. But the past few months, it seems like they have found a mine filled to the brim with the stones. They have been carrying them in by the chests, and apparently this is bad for business. Her husband needs to honour a very expensive contract in exclusivity for the stones, but the rate he has to purchase them is far greater then the occasional stone he can sell to the townspeople in Merak. "Maybe we should pack shop and move to the capital" he wailed... and at that exact moment, the door swung open and some goblin miners came in with a fresh case of ice diamonds... For this build, I tried my hand for the first time in a MOC for an `open backside`. The house itself was inspired by the style I saw in the Mozel valley last year when on a weekend there with the family, sporting flashy colours interwoven with soft pastels and woodwork. Okay, and I tried to include a small piece of humour ;-)

Love the story, and an awesome build to go with it to boot!
