In MOCs that could be in multiple forums, we usually let the creator chose. And I'm really glad you chose our forum. Train stations are a perfect example. Town or Train? We must have a bunch of new staff or something that they didn't know where this MOC belongs. Since it is a MOC, I moved it into the MOC forum. Great looking swords. These beauties look very real.

Hello, my name is Leutinant Bluecoat!
Capn Frank replied to LieutenantBluecoat's topic in Hello! My name is...
I've only recently returned from a three year hiatus that ended in January. Looking forward to seeing you too in the Pirate Forum. Thank you for your soul, now I'll change your name. Welcome Lieutenant. -
That's a nice looking vessel you've got there. Welcome to EB fellow pirate.

I had merged you're double post. Feel free to use the edit post option if you'd like to add content to a post you made earlier that day and no one had responded. Thanks. It probably wouldn't be a bad idea to expand on these characters in Brethren of the Brick Seas with our own ideas. utilizing some of these characters. It has multiple endings for each scene, but it provides some good ideas, like a green gator being Redbeard's "dog".The comics section of the Master Index may provide additional inspiration.

Primary Rigging Types Square-rigged - Square rig is a generic type of sail and rigging arrangement in which the primary driving sails are carried on horizontal spars which are perpendicular, or square, to the keel of the vessel and to the masts. All square rigged vessels normally carry a number of jibs and at least one spanker, and generally carry fore-and-aft staysails between the masts. Fore-and-aft Rig - A fore-and-aft rig is a sailing rig consisting mainly of sails that are set along the line of the keel rather than perpendicular to it. Such sails are described as fore-and-aft rigged. Fore-and-aft rigged sails include staysails, Bermuda rigged sails, gaff rigged sails, gaff sails, gunter rig, lateen sails, lugsails, the spanker sail on a square rig and crab claw sails. Brethren of the Brick Seas Poll
Capn Frank replied to SkaForHire's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
There is a lot already figured out, but there's enough to do before launch. Keep in mind almost everyone developing BoBS is also involved in Guilds of Historica, so please be patient. Hopefully there will be an update in the near future. I too am getting ready for BoBS with a new ship and small fort planned to be built soon. -
Thank for creating this review. I've added this review to the Set Review Index.

[K - B09] Flying over the Serium oceans
Capn Frank replied to Commander Turtle's topic in AG1 Archive
Great MOCs Commander. These models are very clean and look real nice. Keep up the good work. -
Those are some great green screen shots. You did a real good job on the rigging, and your ship nicely built. I look forward to your future MOCs and green screen shots.

Thank you for sharing this MOC. Your buildings look great. I look forward to seeing what you build next. CD makes some valid points for consideration. I don't think every uniformed soldier has to have the same colored uniform. On the USS Constitution, officers and most marines wore dark blue coats, but the trumpeters and drummers wore red coats. I know that there are similar examples of this in each country. Each position within your military for BoBS doesn't have to be the same color, but have different coats depending upon the soldier's position.

As a MOCer looking for some great pieces and figs, this is a decent set. As a stand alone set for display, it's underwhelming and compact. I don't think it fits real well with the skull island. I don't think TLG will ever pull off a decent shipwreck in 84 pieces. I voted for an average rating of this set. Its already been dismantled and sorted.

[LDD MOC] Liberty/La Liberté - 1st rate ship of the line
Capn Frank replied to Dunkleosteus's topic in Pirate MOCs
I think the hull could be built in real life. On top of the insane amount of hinge bricks and plates needed, you would need a ton of modified 1x1 plates with clip and 3 mm rigid hose to hold everything secure on the inside at the top and bottom of the hull. I hope to test this out in the near future.- 50 replies

This is a great ship wreck. I am definitely using your idea for glider wings as temporary roofs/tents. Nice piece usage.

Thank you Artanis. It was my first ship wreck I've ever built. I am really happy how both wrecks turned out. I am going to build the actual ship in the near future using nearly all of the same pieces.

No, it's not alright to post the same things twice in separate forums. Normally I would merge or move the topic to its proper place, but I will lock this topic and provide links to your other topics of these MOCs. This way other 'Pirates' are aware of these MOCs. Everyone is encouraged to post their comments in your other topics in the special themes forum.

It has been added. It only took a few months. We're looking to do much better in the future. Phredit: So, I've updated this Set Index. Here's a list of changes: Reviews are rearranged from newest to oldest waves with a new wave in each post. Then, the set reviews are arrange by item number within the post. Each set now contains the year(s) it was released in parenthesis. Pirate Legend Sets are now lumped together with the original sets. I also found the Official MOD Port Royal Instructions LXF file from Joseph of Brickset too. All of the images are backed up now. Unfortunately some sets no longer have images. I kept these sets in this set index, but these reviews are linked within the text 'Review w/o Pics' after the relevant set thumbnail. If you have the images for one of these set reviews, please update your topic and let me know. Any set that still needs a pictorial review has the text '(Review Needed)' after the relevant set thumbnail.

Dunkleosteus has been building a lot of great ships in LDD. Here's his latest MOC in LDD. The Liberty/La Liberté - 1st Rate Ship Of The Line If you would like to know how Dunkleosteus makes the curves on his vessels, check out his Custom Hull Tutorial.
