  1. There are two promotions in the Licensed Forum this week. Join me in congratulating Clone OPatra on his recent promotion to Licensed Moderator. I'm glad that he is now available to fulfill a greater commitment to this forum.
  2. Everything seems fine. Would you be able to add a small description of the entry?
  3. Yes, I hope to include a small fort similar in layout of Brimstone Hill Fortress. Instead of being on a hill, I was going to have it along the shore.
  4. Lord Valgor and Captain Braunsfeld, I have amended my answer about modification of Lego pieces to allow custom figs.
  5. I would like to make a pirate harbor layout. I would like to incorporate the buildings from the Medieval Market Village. I also would like to incorporate Mods of other sets I have for this village. The first Modded set is the Winter Village Bakery. I made the building one stud narrower so that it's an even numbered width. It really simplified the Mod and ability to use as many of the original pieces from the set. My 4 year old daughter was playing with a couple of carriages. I showed them in the photo and added drivers. I would like to try to avoid right angles in the layout, so I have them set on an offset of 6 studs up and 1 stud over. Here's Kolonialbeamter and I showing a close up of how I plan to get non-right angles. Here's a side view of the bakery and the small alley between the bakery and the medieval market building. Kolonialbeamter spilt my coffee, so I'm going to run him through, as soon as I catch up to him. Here's a view of the other side. Captain Braunsfeld and Captain Stabbin are picking up some baked goods. Here's a view of the interior. I moved the chimney and fire place to the corner of the building instead of being in the middle. There's more floor space now. Here are some closeups of the each side: Comments and criticisms welcomes.
  6. I've recently started to create a modular pirate town utilizing the buildings from Medieval Market Village and using them as a standard size. I just finished converting a Winter Village Bakery into a pirate themed building adding a back wall. I hope to post images soon. Next, I was going to convert the Apple Tree House. When I place these buildings in a layout, I hope to utilize a layout without right angles.
  7. This vessel is definitely snow-rigged. I learned way more about different rigged vessel in the recent reorganization of the Ship Index. If you ever decide to build this vessel out of real bricks, I would recommend using the piece imaged below to provide stability between the snow mast and main mast.
  8. Great work on this vessel Anders. Since you've created vessels this lovely in 2011, I can't wait to see more of your recent models. It's nice to see a model based upon the original vessel as opposed to the HMS Rose. I would love to see more images of the hull below the water, or even better, the LDD file.
  9. Join me in welcoming Captain Nemo as the new Licensed Regulator. He's going to be joining CloneyO and CorneliusMurdock as Licensed Staff.
  10. You should PM your email address. Don't post your email on a public domain unless you like attracting enormous amounts of spam.
  11. Quit making pointless posts begging for people to provide more information on upcoming sets! When members like J2G want to tell you something they find out, they will. They don't have to share anything! Not everything they know from preliminary information is gospel. This is not the place to make such bold accusations and you provided no specific instances of anyone providing deliberate inaccurate information. Use the report system for that and let the staff take care of it. The Site Guidelines state: Manners and Serious Topics: Don't be offensive to other members. We like Eurobricks to be a friendly place to discuss LEGO and won't allow posts that are intended to offend or attack. For the same reason, topics about religion or politics are not welcome on Eurobricks. You have been warned.
  12. I moved this topic to the Help Forum. You'll need staff to help you create a poll until you are a higher rank. Even if we would help you create a poll for your topic, we would need you and your friend to post the topics first. Who is the other member that built the other Moc?
  13. Once upon a time in a magical kingdom, Stephle59 built a beautiful castle for Sleeping Beauty, and her friend Cinderella came to visit. Come ride your carriage to see the majestic creations in the Licensed Forum.
  14. I love it when new members introduce themselves with a Pirate ship MOC. It's a great way to size you up. Did you have an incomplete Black Pearl or were you attempting to create your own MOC with your bricks?
  15. Your images were way too large, so I changed them to links. You typically don't need anything larger than 800x600. Our Site Guidelines say 1,024 x 768 max.
  16. I didn't see anything disabled with your account. Have you reached your limit and you need to delete your old PMs?
  17. Correct, physical modification of Lego pieces is not allowed. A majority of your creation should be a new MOC or MOD. Using small, unmodified sets as a part of your overall build is acceptable. I recommend you modify/improve your ships according the needs of your creation. I would recommend more cannons on the pirate ship.
  18. I'm happy to hear about the police brutality. Yes, early steam vessels will be allowed similar to the types found in the Ship Index.
  19. Thank you Quicksilver for updating the first post. I'm glad to see that this topic got back on track. As a reminder: This topic is for discussing sets, not the movies! Discuss movies in the Culture & Multimedia Forum. This is not how you should respond to people who have different opinions about a movie. Our Site Guidelines Topic states: Don't be offensive to other members. We like Eurobricks to be a friendly place to discuss LEGO and won't allow posts that are intended to offend or attack.
  20. Not that I am aware of. You will need to down-size your images before uploading them. The Posting Tips Section of the FAQ should be helpful.
  21. Agreed. Ionmhain, you should read our topic on Bumping Old Topics, which is linked in the Site Guidelines. Thanks in advance.
  22. Great work Kayne.
  23. EB member Kayne has created this epic MOC, The Night of the Owls. Fly on over to the Licensed Forum for this and other great creations!
  24. No, there's no secret. I found your answer though:
