    Newish to LEGO. Wanting to build an army. Are non lego accessories "allowed'? For instance weapons from brickwarriors?

    Exact same situation here. My layout will be fairly small and it's $150 dollars for the road plates alone.

    What exactly does "modular" mean? Will lego ever release a modular stand alone building? Like a gas station or something? I would like an advanced build but not something that has to be attached to another building. Sorry if OT.

    Lego really needs new road plates with different layouts. Something like the early town plates.

    How many subs does one need? I've been wanting subs for a while now but so many is just overwhelming. Would of liked to see an island lab or a small structure of some sort.

    Are the 2014 city sets retired already? I can't see them in the lego shop? The train station and cargo train to be specific.

    OT but alot of the 2014 city sets are missing from the lego shop. Does anyone know why? Not listed as sold out or retiring soon but just gone.

    I for one lover the detailed interiors. I think the DO is perfect in size and all around detail. Not every building has to be grand or whatever. I'm fine with normal everyday buildings.

    I was hoping the space sets would be classic style but since they're city they'll probably look like the 2011 sets.

    Lego is really difficult to scale. I think we need to stop trying to get everything to be as realistic as possible. It's lego and we need to learn how to embrace that. There are other hobbies such as model building and miniature house kits which can provide much more realism if desired. I've been guilty of trying to get lego to be "real" but that's just not possible. It's plastic brcks. Take it for what it is.
