  1. Been watching too much 'Dredd' lately; watched it over 10x past week... Really pleased with the 'Urban - Cop' minifig himself, comes with handgun & handcuffs. Also made an additional 'Anderson - Rookie' minifig (no gold stripes on the lower arms & no helmet) to go along with him & make the streets perp-free! Vice; a hoverbike inspired by 'Dredd' & 'Paul Leonard-Morgan's OST'. More pic's can be found on my Flickr.
  2. Lego could be suitable, but depends on the scale you're going for... I'd imagine building the car in Technic scale would look awesome. Although I'd rather see it in Minifigure scale or 6 wide a la 'Speed Champions' style.
  3. check out; But, there's a maximum of 7 images, up to 700 x 200 pixels in size. Although I used a third party widget for it myself. Wish we could see 'BB code' again, made it much easier for me to post pic's and stuff without the 'Rich Text Editor'.
  4. Pretty neat model, looks pretty detailed for the size. How big is it btw? Though I gotta say your painting skills are rather sloppy... I used to be heavely into Warhammer 40K, so just some paint tips for the next time; give it a light primer basecoat spray first, then continue on with dry-brushing colors, after that apply highlights and maybe some washes if needed.
  5. Some reboots I'd like to see; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tOlnmiayzGY But also DinoRiders, RingRaiders, Captain Bucky O'Hare.
  6. Nice, how well do the pieces 'hold on' to the hull? And what does the underside look like, curious...
  7. The numbers on the boxes aren't set numbers. But the Lego itself looks all like late 60's, 68/69 to be specific. So going off of the instructions & individual pieces you photographed; - The blue truck set; https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?S=371-2&name=Motorized Truck Set&category=[Samsonite][Model Maker][Cargo]#T=S&O={"iconly":0}. - Small unknown red roofed house with yellow garage, no idea which specific set. - A larger set, with at least a house and some cars, no idea which specific set.
  8. Looks like a link of a Lego watch; https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?G=bbw014#T=C
  9. Wow, just wow! Love the use of those Bionicle armor pieces of the Spinner/BladeRunner-esque car.
  10. Neat build, love to see a more sideways view. Extra kudo's for the lost hiker!
  11. 1. A child, who likes to construct & create their own imagination in to real life. Lego values; using imagination, sparking creativity, playing is fun, learning on multipable levels (while playing), quality of the product. 2. Lego for me, as an adult, is a great outlet for creativity & my on going imagination. At the same time it's a great 'stress' reliever, where I can loose myself & time. ;)
  12. It's called a 'String Reel/Winch'. A quick tip; if the cable slips, rough it a bit up with some sandpaper, so that the cable can 'catch/bite'.
  13. I've made 'Claptrap' (CL4P-TP) from the Borderlands series a couple of years ago... The yellow one with the stand was auctioned for 'Creations for Charity 2012'. Got a blue one sitting on my desk & a red one chilling in my lego room.
  14. I'm diggin' the curvyness design! But I don't get the boxing ring, that's more prohibition era to me... I'd rather see a small podium for gigs or something or something like a garage where they can work on hotrods. Though imagine having 2 of these; one build in mirror to the other would make a nice big curvy diner.
  15. Blade Runner 2049
  16. Hmmm, looks like he 'cleaned' up some of his older builds. You could always just ask him...
  17. So many nice details. Love the 90's throwback, such good memories. Though I'd flip that 'police' panel on the jail, so its readable.
  18. Well, now that you mention it; I've checked but no cigar. Same as mocpages... It's really bugging me.
  19. Past weekend I've been searching the web for a Lego display/project... But no succes. All I can remember of it: - Pic's weren't hosted on Flickr, but hosted on something else, maybe an own server/page. - It was a collaboration of various builders in a cyberpunk/futuristic/dystopian city setting. - Made somewhere between the years 2005-2009, 'cause it was one of the reasons I got into Lego again. - Similar to Zero Hour on Highway 44 & A Bus Stop In Bucharest in terms of style & looks. Wondering if any of you guys & gals on Eurobricks might know?
  20. Spotted a Lego build in It (2017); a (bright)green/lime turtle held by Bill in his hands (was in his brother Georgie's room).
  21. There were 2 different boat motors available for boats; item #48064c02 & item #48064c01. The first one is also available as a polybag accessory-serviceset; set #7099-1. But they came out around 2004, other than those I could only find weighted keels; item #x149 so that they stay stable in the water. Hopefully this has helped you out somewhat in the right direction.
  22. Gotta say the Mini Cooper; simply perfect! Reminds me of Charlize Theron in The Italian Job.
  23. Nice guys! Any recommendation which day to go best? I gotta keep in mind; I'm going to the 'MobiliteitsRai* (light/heavy road-transport) set around the same date as well.
  24. Wow, amazing builds! So many details in the base & salvage 2 I suddenly realized the 'M' logo, reminds me of the 'Weyland-Yutani Corporation' logo. What if M-Tron is part of the OcTan Corp (also ties red to the red/green colorscheme)
  25. First some history; Legowiki M-tron entry. The concept of ruggedness/industrial/gritty seems to complement the M-tron mining aspects, but I'm not sure about the color scheme though. Maybe another color combo would be more fitting; dark gray, light gray, dark red, black & yellow. Offcourse they have to have magnets!
