The doctor reminds me of George Clooney btw... *lol*

These will work with those solid tires. Or else you could always try out round bricks, some cylinders, some dishes or even a barrel.

[MOC] "Raijin" Class Mk.II Light Interceptor, ADU markings
-zenn replied to vynsane's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Nice design, but I must say that engine play feature does it for me! That's just awesome. -
You're not the only one. It's either swapping out those axles for old ones or using less wide tires. Otherwise it just wouldn't look right.

V-LV-22C Every now and then I got the urge of building cars, which in most cases turn out as Hot Rods. So here is another moc build in such an urge. Started out as a sedan, but I didn't liked the look of it, so shortened it up. And by the way; red is a hard color to photograph, any tips are welcome. Roadkill; a hot rod inspired by '6538 Rebel Roadster' and 'Jimmy Shine'. Flickr Gallery Comments and critisiscm welcome.

From seeing your newer topic, I'd visit this one. Love the detail you put into everything, and also the idea of seperate modules which forming one big store a great one. I've only got one minor suggestion to add to your safety section; goggles. Keep up the good work and can't wait to see some more of that commission.

Lego Technic Figures
-zenn replied to BasOne's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I got around 10 or so, various colors. But mostly are dismembered; the upper legs make great hoverbike parts. They should revamp them; add a female, maybe a kid version as well. -
Don't know if this was brought up already, but I recently bought a lot of Exo-Force stickers. They are full of kanji's and stuff, but what do they mean?

Hmm, I guess to just need a new categorie Techtem, Sysnic... It's a hard one.

Is Cuusoo too easily taken over by Rabid Fandoms?
-zenn replied to David Thomsen's topic in General LEGO Discussion
My own thought about Cuusoo is that when you post a moc, you need a lot of outside help other than the lego community itself to get enough votes. So it's more of a 'if I got enough friends for votes' than actual 'thats so good it should be made'. I'm not impressed by the whole cuusoo-hype thing, I've got more respect for renowned builders inside the community. -
Thanks for the input; I've made a couple of different versions using discs and bought some stuff on BL to try out.

I'm in the progress of building another minifig scale hot rod and I'm looking for a new technique for whitewall tires. I already used the elastic band technique and the white small smooth tire technique. Now I've just seen Masashi Togami’s DeLorean (BTTF) Cuusoo project on Brothers Brick, looks like the tires are painted. I wondered if there are any other techniques out there?

LEGO CUUSOO BTTF DeLorean Time Machine ACHIEVED
-zenn replied to Ceroknight's topic in LEGO Licensed
It's meh, don't like the look as well; too clunky and bulky. It lacks the BTTF feel for me. Though I like those whitewall tires. Are they painted? -

Never seen a lego swimming pool before, nice idea! I like how you've done the diving board and float lines. Though I'm wondering what that gangster is doing there...

Nice one! Lots of greebs going on, great design. love the base you made, like the look of all those round plates. Though I think the name doesn't do it justice.

@ The Joker1 > Don't get me started... She's isn't called Jinx for nothing. @ Hikaro Takayama > Thanks. The hair idea isn't mine, seen it a couple of times. Just suited the fig, although I was going for elf hair at first; for the ears. This makes me wanna see some Diesel/Cyberpunk movies again. @ Jareth > Thanks, nice to see you like it. @ Legostein > Actually it's the 2nd, Blaze was the 1st.

Haha, I was almost gonna say that. The only thing I dislike about that big hulk are those cavities in it legs and that you can't pose them, other than that I like him. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J5HJogYwVNo I like Hulk; just a simple green guy with a really big heart.

"The Dark Ages" - How long were you away from Lego?
-zenn replied to Duck's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Mine started in my early teens and ended in my early twenties; so there's about a 10 year gap. The interwebs brought me back. -
Interesting ship; love the angles, cockpit and enginepod's. I'm curious how you're gonna make it somewhat 'puffy' wings. Can't wait to more of your progress.

@ Lightningtiger > My image proceeds me... Can't help myself building them. @ Cooper Works > Thanks mate. @ CallMePieOrDie > Exactly the look I was going for. I try to use a lot of technic/bionicle/hero factory/random bricklink finds/throwbot parts in my builds. I like the idea of crossover themed parts. Matrix, huh, now that you said it, you're right! @ Si-MOCs > Haha, thanks. Yeah, made a wheeled/v-tol/dual prop version. But this one made the cut. It's a throwbot visor.
