    Coyote Hot Rod

Thanks mate. Glad to be back from the dead! If you look closely, the steering is a illegal connection; + (minifig hips + round wheelholder)

    Coyote Hot Rod

It's been a while since I've had the inspiration to build something. Almost like 2 years now. But I've been busy with a couple of projects I had laying around... Which this one, is one of the first to be completed. Mainly build this for the '87th Lugnuts Challenge' on Flickr. Some incorporation I really wanted to do was an alternate steering method. Coyote; a hot rod inspired by 'Gas Monkey Garage' and 'Delta Bombers - The Wolf'. More on Flickr photostream.
  4. Dang, it's mean looking. Love how you shaped it and that engine is... *drools*
  5. Managed to get the pilot issue and issue 3. If you happen to come across the first two issues, pick 'em up for me will ya'. They're sold out online.
  6. <3 The Tony Stark cameo watching himself.
  7. Ah, you just described it. I didn't know that, thanks. So question solved; lock it up!
  8. Not really memes, but it goes well with the topic; a couple of lego inspired haiku's. Would be neat to see these on tshirts. Here Are The Basics In Billund, Denmark, small family company, when it all began. Basic Lego brick, interlocking studs and tubes, make the perfect toy. Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene, yes. Superior bricks. Find the perfect piece: Basic brick, arch, plate, cheese, wheel. Snap it into place. After years away, an adult fan of Lego rediscovers joy. Exploring The Universe How do you sort them? Is it by shape or colour? One big container? Vignettes eight by eight, sometimes smaller, six by six. Complex little builds. Modular buildings, cityscapes in plastic brick, joined by TECHNIC peg. Building the big ones, room-sized projects and larger. Thousands of pieces. Minifigure scale, one:thirty / one:forty-eight, delightful detail. House to skyscraper and everything between. It can all be built. Art material, gallery installations gaining acceptance. Points Of Contention There’s a unique pain, parenting rite of passage, stepping on a brick. Many times I’ve heard “Don’t make it like they used to.” It’s not just bricks now. Yellow caucasian? Or can your skin be neutral, Minifigure man? No academy for masters in Canada. Shipping restrictions. Are Friends just for girls? Do boys want pastel bricks too? Pink for everyone? source: http://slightlynerdy.com/some-lego-haiku/
  9. Bricklink has always been my help in searching for parts, sets and more... But now I'm kinda confused. I'm looking for this part in tan> http://www.bricklink...Item.asp?P=6081 It says it excist, at least 8 sellers have it. But it doesn't excist in sets... Only in the color dark tan. I don't wanna buy it, realising it's the wrong color and not using it. Any advice?
  10. Nice Actually kinda weird there isn't a lego magazine for an adult audience when you think of it. I'm gonna order me some copies and let 'em ship. *excited*
  11. Just seen Lego the movie. It made me laugh Can't get that song out of my head... Everything is awesome... tututu
  12. Nice, I dig the concept of reimagined sets. Some of the sets of the 80/90's were awesome, at least, I've got good memories of them... I always got lots of Lego cause of being in/out the Hospital a lot... It certainly explains why I've got a softspot for cars... hotrods. Can't wait till you build some more... I'd like to see this turn into a new hype, or a contest or something, nice.
  13. They look good as keychains though... I'd rather walk with a seperator than a minifig one.
  14. Gotta say my Sennheiser gaming headset... Lot thrashtalk/nonsense on Teamspeak.
  15. Made some Bricklink buys... time to pick up the pieces and get that idea out of my head and into bricks.
  16. Lol, reminds me of 'Tank Girl';
  17. These 3 quotes are so relatable... When I tell people I build with Lego I mostly tend to show them; cause they've got this oldschool thought in their heads it's "just stacking bricks" together. I also think being an AFOL has more meaning to it than the acronym implies; sort of a real life ambassador role with lots of creativity, engineering/designing insight and innovative thinking.
  18. Can't get enough of these...
  19. Si-MOCs> Aw, sorry man. Wasn't my intention, already working on a couple of more builds. Thanks for the kind words.
  20. Just a weird thought popped up when I was looking at some music videos... If I could, I would; Somebody should make a videomash up from ' ' and Klingon Birds of Prey.
