    MOC poll

I'm in a car mood right now, so I'd say muscle car.
  2. Depends on what you want to build and if you still have your old Lego. I'd go for some small SP3 sets and small AQ sets. And technique wise I would just look around on the lego community over at Flickr, Brickshelf, and this messageboard. You'll pick up some tips and tricks from that. Some techniques I just read> SNOT, offsetting etc.
  3. Haha, no 'manure'... Energy! *now I want to make MasterBlaster as well* lightningtiger> Thanks mate, best Aussi movie ever.
  4. Haha, well I wanted to... but than he has to shave his mohawk off.
  5. Thanks, I actually tried to work with some brown minifig hands and brown 4l bars. But didn't like the look of it. A friend of mine suggested I should give it a mild dry brush with some paint. Haha, go ahead! Maybe use it for your 'toro-lug'...
  6. I had the vehicle base lying around for a while now, and it was about time I used it. So Here you go. Also tried out some different color combinations; tan, dark red, light grey, black. But this just looked right. Rage; a dune buggy inspired by the 'Mad Max trilogy' and 'Doomsday'. Flickr Gallery Comments and critisiscm welcome.
  7. I'm diggin' this; lovely aft engine, sweet tailpipes. Though I feel like the inside could need some work, maybe just some basic seats would do the trick.
  8. Thanks, no it doesn't turn. Nice to hear that, I'd always pictured them on specially developed snowvehicles. Thanks, it's very sturdy btw. Though the front prongs will change stance when you put pressure on it. Thanks, maybe I'm gonna do a couple more of these in a smilar style.
  9. What can I say other than; pure <3 for The Starling and Mailman's dirigible. I like the way you build both houses; full of detail and great techniques. Though the rocks themself look to plain & dull to me.
  10. welcome and enjoy the boards!

  12. Thank you. I had the same tread idea, but it wouldn't work because of the motorcycle chassis though. Haha, yeah! I'm pondering what to build next... So many ideas; a barebone style hot rod, a jet ski, a quadruple treaded atv or a dual front treaded snowmobile. Still got a WIP spaceship, only build the aft engines so far. Thanks, it's a cut hinge bar with a cut robot arm bar sliding over it.

*drools* Just perfect! Got some more detailed pic's?
  14. Some of you know I made a mxbike a while ago, while watching Red Faction: Origins and sneaky glimbsing at it... I thought it would make a solid base for a snowmobile conversion. Lynx; a snowmobile inspired by 'Red Faction: Origins'. Flickr Gallery Comments and critisiscm welcome.
  15. I was right about the cap... Was already on alienprequelnews.com.
  16. Yes, another scifi fan! Just seen the trailer. I've been following this movie as well. Mostly just checking out scifimoviepage.com every day. They said the following on Prometheus; The highly-anticipated Prometheus trailer is here and as promised you can see some of the original 1979 Alien movie’s “DNA” in it as director Ridley Scott had promised in earlier interviews. Not only are many of the costume and ship designs similar, but if you look real close you can see the decapitated head of the famous “space jockey,” originally glimpsed in the 1979 movie, for a millisecond on a lab table being examined by lab-coated woman scientist. Blink and you’ll miss it. Prometheus stars Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, Idris Elba, Sean Harris, Kate Dickie, Logan Marshall-Green, Guy Pearce. It is directed by Ridley Scott and has a June 8th, 2012 theatrical release. Below is a new photo of Michael Fassbender, which Internet rumors say is a robot in the upcoming movie. *btw; is Ridley Scott wearing a Weyland-Yutani Corporation cap in the at 0.08? Or is it just me. I always like the idea of 'the company' and how it originated and mentioned in other movies. [source: scifimoviepage.com]
  17. 4x 852744 Christmas Tree Ornaments. I'm giving my familymembers his own personal ornament + minifig as a gift for christmas.
  18. About the figs, I've got one thing to say... Polly Pocket rip off. Too bad they aren't real minifigs. But in a financial point of view I can understand why they did...
  19. Probably gonna pick me up a few parts from the sets only for the fleshie heads for NCS. I'm not a LOTR fan at all, just don't like the whole fantasy genre.
  20. welcome and enjoy the boards!
  21. No problem, you should also take a look at this prototype page, they've got some sweet stuff on there.
  22. The whole theme reminds me of Polly Pocket. Might get some for my gf, she wanted new pink lego for a while now.
  23. Welcome and enjoy the boards. Nice line up, makes a great addition to that x-mas tree in the background, although it ain't in x-mas style. But I like it.
  24. I think you mean Seatron.
  25. Ah man, that's a bummer. But it's christmas soon, so you'll never know what Santa is bringing... Best way is probably to buy a lot of creator sets or those big tubs.
