  1. Wonderfull, love the shot from the minifig. Nice idea for the use of those armymen; old coper really has a green patina.

    Outlaw Trike

A little update; just got blogged by Exile Cycles.
  3. I don't like clone brands, just because they're just not Lego. Same idea goes for 3rd party stuff. I do mod my bricks though, but got a golden rule; it has to be done neat, clean and precise.
  4. I tend to use to 'new' faces a lot. Don't like the old ones, whithout the white dot in the eyes.
  5. I'd say Town; doesn't really look 'Technic' enough to me. But when starting a new topic, I'd mention in the 'topic description' that it isn't minifig scale.
  6. Compared to the pic you provided earlier, I think the gasbottles are rather big, a suggestion would be something like this; Welder's Truck by Ricecracker., on Flickr.
  7. Nice front section and use of oldschool tiles.
  8. I buy sets either because I think they're awesome or for parts usage.
  9. Best oneliner I heard today. 'what fools these mortals be' - Shakespeare
  10. It looks like a chibi version of the original, nice work. Maybe you could mod the fig a little, she doesn't look very 'mad maxine'...

    Outlaw Trike

Haha, yeah; aestethic over function. He might be able to fit if his legs are seperated and connected to the exhaustpipes with those 'claw bars'.

    Outlaw Trike

@ Lego Guy Bri > They're worth the money, I also use them for hoverbikes. ;)
  13. As said on flickr; love the gastanks at the back and wheels. What tires are they btw? Though you might want to look into raising that airscoop a little bit and introducing that 'turbo-belt' (dunnow what it's called). Anyway awesome build.
  14. Love the look of that wiener mobile! My only suggestion is to add some appropiate stickers. Other than that nice job.

    Roadkill Hot Rod

@ mrlegoman, Lego Guy Bri, kzv > Thanks guys, the wheels were a random collision of parts. It just magically formed when I searched out some parts; the red part was stuck in a tire. I like building these big engines.

    Outlaw Trike

@ L@go > Yeah, the seat should be half a stud back, and maybe the wheels could be slightly bigger. It was either putting a tank on, had alreaddy modded that 'tank' brick so it could hang over the frame. But I'd rather have a minifig. @ Lego Guy Bri > Most rods can't roll, the wheels would fall off. This trike can roll though, used minifig syringes for axles. @ lightningtiger > Thanks, this trike was actually made be another company; Exile Cycles. @ soccerkid6 > Kewl, I had the use something that looked like a seat, so the choice was obvious. I like the outcome of the front, but I'm not happy with that tire. But not a lot of tires fit that wheel...

    Outlaw Trike

V-LV-25C Well, what to say about this moc... It's for the monthly contest over at the lugnuts group on flickr. The challenge made me instantly think of Russel Mitchell's trike from the show 'biker build off'. So here it is. Outlaw; a trike inspired by 'Exile Cycles'. Features; stock TLG frame, 'brightshine' headlight, custom springer fork & suspension, oldschool 'airride' front tire on a oldschool rim, 'curve-slope' gastank, custom forward controls, belt drivechain, 'cape' seat, tucked oilcannister, 'connector' differential, dual dragstrip tires on custom double bolted rims, disc brakes, custom dual tailpipes + mufflers and 'X' taillight. Flickr Gallery Comments and critisiscm welcome.
  18. Love the redhead near the jacuzzi...
  19. Sting has changed... The guy with the bandana reminds me of Keith Richards. Love the idea of the band flying in, neat touch!
  20. Hmm, took another look at this set... why doesn't the stretcher has foldable wheels any more? And will a banana 'cause that much injury to be air lifted out?
  21. Than you need lots of + = Plungers Just an idea; coils of small/large tubing as for pipes and plumbing.
  22. Nice one! Love the control panel on top. + Just went through a lot on BL, there's tons stuff for your store; axe, crowbar, circular blade saw, chainsaw, hand truck, jack, jackhammer, big mallet, big wrench, paint brush, pickaxe, shovel, pitchfork, sledge hammer, toolbox, wheelbarrow, bucket, sextant (oldschool laser alligning). Is the original store like a normal DIY store or is it more specialised?

    Roadkill Hot Rod

@ The Blue Brick> Thanks, I've made those wheels before, Tried out some other combo's but they didn't look as good. @ lightningtiger> I've seen it being used but only with 2 seats, not 4 seats. It was a nice challenge. @ L@go> Haha, my reputation precedes me. Got my ego stroked for today. @ purpleparadox> Thanks, If he's a rodder it would be kewl to make him and his rod in minifig style. @ Legocrazy81> Those blowers were a pain in the megablocks at first, I really wanted those inserts. But after minor tinkering, they came out okay. Well the fig is put together from a historical stand view; allied soldiers who were back fom the war with newly acquired mechanical skills, mostly still sporting their jackets. But if I would make a sleeveless fig I would choose that Pharaohs Quest torso.
  24. You're correct. It's also possible to stretch a small tire around a round brick/cylinder and than put the non-solid tire around it.

    New Town

Looks like one of them creepy mental hospitals... I spotted someone famous, the guy with the fro, hanging around the yacht clubstore. It could either be Michael Jackson or Samauel L. Jackson...
