[MOD] 42008 with Power Functions

Recommended Posts

I can see some people complaining that you have removed the pneumatics from the model, but overall good job with the mod.

Thanks.

as I wanted to have all the functions in remote control, I chose all mechanic.

Good choice! And great mod!

Also, the black wheels look a lot better than the original ones!

Truly amazing! I especially love the inline 4 cylinder engine and tipping cab. I also like the black rims better as well.

Well done, looks good. Pneumatics are really poorly used in this set, so I can't lament you replacing them with LA's. I bet the set is better off for it.

I still think its butt ugly.as for the technical side.

I really like How you managed to put everything in there.and added the tilting cab.i didnt see that coming.its really playable now.

very good job done here.

Thanks for your comments,

I also prefer the black rims

It's just to change from the original set and recognize quickly the mod.

This is really great. When I build the original model, I was also thinking on motorizing the functions, but I thought the available space is too small. And you not only made it motorized, you also added one more functions, grats! I noticed you have several digitally created images in your brickshelf folder, does that mean you maybe has an LDD file? That would be great if you could share it.

I really like what you have done. I have already set aside 8 black wheels for mine although I will probably build the original (pneumatic) first with some color tweaks.

Great moc. I do have this model and didn't get a clue on how to motorize it.

Do you have any instruction or a LDD of the moc?

With so many requests for the LDD file, would it be possible to put in on a fileshare site and have a link to it here? Thanks!

Seeing how little empty space there is left (i.e. none at all) fitting all the fnctionality in looks tobe an incredible achievement! Awesome job on that. The model without the body just shows how much functionality fits in the space beneath. One of the best mods I have seen. It seems that except for the outer shell, you modified everything. Great!

Is this thread a trick to get new members to post their personal email addresses in a public forum?

Note to new members: posting your email address in a public thread is a good way to get your mailbox filled with spam. I recommend that the OP put the file somewhere (like Bricksafe) where people can download it, or at least that interested parties contact him via Private Message.
